Christian check list
1. Meet God in prayer daily (Ephesians 6:18 and John 15:7) 2. Allow some time each day for reading God's word (Acts 17:11) How often do we fail at this, how important is it and how will we get to know the word and apply it to our lives if we don't take the time to study it? 3. Turn every moment of your life over to God in obedience (John 14:21) 4. You understand that you are to witness daily by your life and words (Matt. 4:19) - how often we fall flat here. 5. Rejoice that the Holy Spirit is in your life and allow Him to control and empower you (Acts 1:8) 6. By all means enjoy your Christian experience, after all you do have something to be happy about don't you? (Prov. 16:20) The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. -John 10:10 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. - 1 John:7 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: - 1 Corinthians 15: 3,4 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. -Acts 4:12 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; - Romans 3:23 And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. -Acts 16:30,31 Jesus said.....Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. - Revelation 3:20 In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. - 1 John4:9 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. -Romans 6:22,23 .....For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. -Romans 8:15 ....And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. -Romans 8:28, Romans 8:31 goes on to say, "What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. - 1 Peter 5:7 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. - Philippians 4:13 .....But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Now unto God and our Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen. - Philippians 4:19,20
