Jacob did his share of running away. First from Esau, his brother. Then later in life, from his father-in-law, Laban.

Laban pursued him for 7 days and caught up with him.
Could runaways be among the "human loot" valued at very little?

The unfaithful concubine left (ran away) and returned to her father's house. When she was there for 4 months, her husband came to persuade her to come back.
She took her husband to her father. The father gladly welcomed him. Was he glad to get rid of her? Or did he have to follow social conventions?
He entertained the husband for many days. Did he want to see, if he would now be good to his daughter, forbidding her to go back if the husband was abusive?
The trip was was more dangerous than anyone thought. The concubine was put into extreme danger. She found the inner strength to seek safety, but she needed help from others in her distress.
2590 - 2 out of 3 travelers saved by friendly city man!
One was gang raped and left for dead by some of the wicked men of the city!
Naaman's wife's servant girl was a captive and missing to her family. She could have decided to run away from the family that held her captive. She didn't. Instead, she rose in her position just like Joseph, who had been sold, had done. She was central in getting Naaman healed of leprosy and since he would have been more than thankful, she would have asked for the release of the captives.
2624 Missing child with no say had quite some eloquence in another tongue!
She was trusted and blessed the household of her owners. Remember Joseph who was bought!
To be added: Moses was "missing" to his family after he murdered and left for Midian.

Section 2: Refugees in the world
Pray about refugees in the world. There are millions according to the High Commissioner of the U.N. Yet God knows each one by name.
Naomi, Orpah and Ruth were on the road making decisions like many refugees.
Ruth decided to go back to her place of origin and gave her supporting people choices.
Orpah decided to go back to hers without a supporting person along.
Naomi decided to go to another place with a supporting person that she supported too.
2478 - Refugees - Are they missing?...At least in hard times. - Ruth could have returned to her mother's home, but she chose to go with Naomi. How could Ruth's family have known of her whereabouts and her future?
The bride of the Song of Songs may have been a former refugee. She implied that she was different.
"Dark I am, but lovely!" As a visible different person she was looking for her "missing" husband, who went "missing" locally.
2550 - If you find him...tell him I am faint with love.

Moses' people had been refugees because of famine. They had become forced labourers. Now the Pharaoh wanted to make segments of society become "missing". To rectify this selective culling, the people "had to leave the Pharaoh's domain" altogether.

Captives are refugees. Naaman's wife had a servant girl. She was a captive and a refugee. She made the best of the situation. 2624 Missing child with no say had quite some eloquence in another tongue!

Section 3: Not-so-close relatives
Pray for "not so close" relatives and missing people.
Naomi was missing to her "not so close" relatives she left behind.
Orpah was missing to Ruth and Naomi her in-laws, that were "not so close" as her blood relatives.
2478 - Refugees - Are they missing?...At least in hard times. - Ruth could have returned to her mother's home, but she chose to go with Naomi. How could Ruth's family have known of her whereabouts and her future?
The daughters of Jerusalem - were they relatives of the bride in the Song of Songs?
In any case, they were not there when the bride was looking for her "missing" husband in the middle of the night.

Laban was a relative to Jacob, but emotionally he was a "not so close" relative to him.
Esau was a relative to Jacob, but he was "not so close" for himself, Rachel, Leah and the children.
These "not so close" relatives were important to Jacob as he was "missing" for some at various times.

Could "not so close" relatives be among the "human loot" missing in the dark places of pits...?

Among the travellers with the caravan going home from Jerusalem where "not so close" relatives of Jesus.
Jesus was 12 and missing. The relatives normally helped each other.

First the "not so close" relatives had no room...then the shepherds came to adore... These "not so close" relatives lost their babies through Herod's order.

Naaman's servant girl was captive. Others were too. Did the "not so close" relatives know what her situation was? If they did, did they inform the closer relatives? When Naaman was thankful after his healing, wouldn't he release the "not so close" relatives too for the servant girl's sake?
