The Mission of Saint Andrew
Join us as we grow in grace and numbers !
"As The Lord Taught; As The Apostles Proclaimed; As The Fathers Preserved!”
"As The Lord Taught; As The Apostles Proclaimed; As The Fathers Preserved!”

The purpose of The Mission of Saint Andrew and The Holy Catholic Church (Anglican Rite) is to perpetuate the Faith, Order, Worship and Witness of Western Orthodox Catholicism as it existed in the English Church to the time of the Great Schism (1054), and set forth by the "ancient catholic bishops and doctors," and especially as defined by the Seven Ecumenical Councils of the undivided Church.

We worship according to the Western Rite Liturgy which has been approved for use in the Roman and Orthodox Churches.

We subscribe to the Faith and Order of The One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church as clearly expressed in the Apostles', Nicene and Athanasian Creeds; and we believe that The Holy Scriptures, as interpreted by The Ecumenical Councils of The Undivided Church, contain all things necessary to salvation.

We believe that the nature and will of God were revealed once and for all by His Divine Son, Jesus Christ our Lord, and that this revelation recorded in Holy Scripture cannot and must not be altered or reinterpreted to meet the transient desires of man.

We receive the Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, the Holy Eucharist, Holy Matrimony. Holy Orders, Penance and Unction of the Sick, as objective and effective signs of the continued presence and saving activity of Christ our Lord among His people and as His covenanted means for conveying His grace. In particular, we affirm the necessity of Baptism as incorporating us into Christ (with its completion in Confirmation as the "seal of the Holy Spirit"), and the Eucharist as the sacrifice which unites us to the all-sufficient Sacrifice of Christ on the Cross and the Sacrament in which He feeds us with His Body and Blood.

We welcome all who seek a firm and unchanging foundation for their Christian Faith in this confused and troubled world.
