I have been home churching myself for several years now, so your articles which I have read tonight, were very interesting. I finally stopped going to my church (building) because of my severe hearing loss. I could not hear the sermon and the hearing loss affected my ability to sing, so I simply stay home and study myself on Sunday and other days. Actually, I do affiliate via Internet with a Messianic Jewish assembly out of Michigan and celebrate the Jewish feasts since I do not celebrate Christmas and Easter for the reasons you wrote. No, I am not Jewish. I am Southern Baptist by denomination--always have been. I am a newbie at "our church" and my webpage is a Messianic Jewish outreach. Your pages are very well presented and I want to tell you that I was very pleased with your last post elsewhere here. Thank you.

I enjoyed reading all you had available on the site... find myself agreeing with most of it... it encouraged me greatly... to see others who left the "organized church" in order to follow Jesus deeper into the things of God...
