Are we ready for another Clinton?
Let's look at her voting record:
Partial-birth abortion prohibition: NO
This bill would prohibit partial birth abortions.
Iraq, Afghanistan, Hurricaine relief funding to DoD: NO
This bill would have secured monies for military equipment and supplies that would be sent to Iraq, Afghanistan and Hurricaine devestated areas. This also would have prohibited use of Artic National Wildlife Refuge for oil exportation.
Firearm Confiscation Prohibition: NO
This bill prohibited the confiscation of firearms. A response to the confiscation of firearms from the law abiding citizens of New Orleans.
Secure Fence Act: YES
This bill authorized the construction of a 700ft fence along the US-Mexican border to more easily control the flow of immigration
Troop redeployment Amendment: NO
This bill would have forced the president to withdraw troops from Iraq by July 1, 2007.
Let's look at her speeches and claims.
She claims to favor "redeployment" of troops yet voted no on a timetable. I do have tho thank her for that.
When an official is sworn in, it includes the vow to uphold and protect the constitution. The constitution does not allow room for confiscation of firearms from law abiding citizens.
Clinton is an enviromentalist and an avid supporter of providing equipment and supplies to the troops and hurricane devistated areas. Or is she? Her vote shows otherwise.
Clinton has been honest in some areas: well, basically the abortion thing. She apparently likes the idea of drilling holes in babies heads.
