About us
Bethel is the only General Baptist Church in the Parkland area.
We at Bethel General Baptist Church are a small congregation with lots of heart and spirit. We have a family atmosphere. We are friendly people who genuinely love and are concerned about each other.
We have Sunday School classes for all ages from children through adults.
The Wed. evening Bible study is enjoyed by all ages. It is a casual informal atmosphere with lots of lively discussion.
We have a fully equipped Nursery available for infants and toddlers.
For the older children we have Children's Church on Sunday morning during worship service. Each week they are paid a visit by "Ponder" & "Stretch" two of the animals from "Noah's Park". In addition to the puppet show there are skits, story time, snack time and sometimes crafts. Everything including the snack reinforces the Bible Lesson.
The Youth Group meets every Wednesday evening at 6:00 pm. They are currently exploring "Surprising Things Jesus Said About...". This is a multi-sensory experience. They also have Youth Service once a month on Sunday at 6:00 pm. Every 3rd Friday night they can attend GBY (General Baptist Youth) Rallies. In addition to this they have social activities.
3rd grade - 12th grade can attend a week of Camp at Camp Allen in Greenville, MO. For more information visit the Camp Allen Website
In addition to our services we enjoy getting together for pot luck dinners & other social activities that include all ages so that our congregation, friends and family can get together to have a good time with lots of good clean fun!
