You'll Never Forget This Christmas Day
![]() Alone in the barracks a soldier lays Wishing he was home on Christmas Day. He sees a vision of happiness and joy Coming from the face of his little boy. His little girl jumping up and down Excited over the presents that she has found. His wife's face is all aglow As she tells the children let's go play in the snow. He remembers Christmas days gone by And tries so hard not to cry. He wants so much to be home today But it just isn't meant to be that way. He rises slowly and shakes off his blues While telling the other soldiers of his good news. Men, we feel alone on this Christmas Day But I know it doesn't have to be this way. We have each other and that's a start Because the true meaning of Christmas is in our heart. The spirit of Christmas is to love and to care And with you I have a lot of that too share. Go through the troops and spread laughter and joy Act like a kid with a new found toy. Because if you do as I say You'll never forget this Christmas Day. Author: Gloria J.
