what I believe:

       I believe in the Holy Bible as God's inerrant, absolute, eternal, unbroken, verbally inspired Word, sufficient for the salvation of humanity and the final authority in all things for the Body of Christ.

  I believe that the Holy Bible teaches that there is only one true and living God who has chosen to reveal Himself as Father, Son, and Holy Ghost (Deuteronomy 6:4; Isaiah 43:10,11; Matthew 28:19; Luke 3:22).

 I believe that man is a sinful being in need of redemption (Genesis 1:26-31, 3:1-7; Psalm 51:5; Ecclesiastes 7:29; John 6:44; Romans 5:12-21; 1 Corinthians 2:14).

     I believe in the virgin birth of Jesus Christ, that He is both Son of God and son of man, that He came to save man from sin by offering His blood as an atonement and making it available to all who exercise faith in Him (Matthew 1:23; Luke 1:31, 35; John 3:16; 1 Corinthians 15:3; 2 Corinthians 5:21).

  I believe that for salvation of lost and sinful man, regeneration by the Holy Ghost is absolutely essential (Luke 7:50, 24:47; Romans 10:13-15; 1 Corinthians 1:18; 2 Corinthians 2:15; Ephesians 2:8, 9; 2 Timothy 1:9; Titus 2:11, 3:5-7).

I believe that Salvation is by GRACE through FAITH and that, while works have no redeeming value unto Salvation, works are evidence of  faith and right living by the Word of God. We do not do good works in the hope of Salvation, for Salvation is by the Grace of the Lord alone, but we do good works as evidence of our faithful walk with the Lord Jesus Christ; for faith without works is dead.(James 2:26) 

  I believe that Christians are to be a called out people and a Holy nation enduring in faith until the end.

    I believe that the entire Law of the Old Covenant was fulfilled by the Atonement of Our Lord Jesus Christ; therefore I refute the continuing practice of tithing by the Levitical Law. I affirm the New Testament precept to give in accordance with 2 Corinthians 9: 7- "Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver."

   I furthermore affirm that the Sabbath of the New Covenant consists of the present and future reign of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and that the practice of sanctifying one day or another or every day alike is a matter of individual conscience as revealed in the Holy Bible (Romans 14:5-6; Colossians 2:16-17)

    I believe that the Holy Bible shows the acts and attributes of the Holy Ghost to be those of an intelligent being, and that the works of God such as creation, inspiration, giving of life, and sanctification are also ascribed to the Holy Ghost (Genesis 1:2; Job 33:4; Mark 3:29; John 16:8, 13; Acts 7:51, 10:19, 13:2, 13:4, 16:6; 1 Corinthians 2:11, 6:11, 12; Ephesians 4:30; 1 Peter 3:18; 2 Peter 1:21).

I believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Ghost by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a holy life (Romans 8:5; Philippians 2:12, 13; 1 Thessalonians 4:3; 1 John 2:29).

  I believe that the baptism in the Holy Ghost is given to believers who ask for it (Joel 2:28; Acts 2:4).

 I believe that all mankind is subject to the death of the body as a result of original sin. The soul and spirit do not die, but immediately after death enter into a conscious state of happiness or misery according to an individual's rejection or acceptance of the Savior (Ecclesiastes 12:7; Romans 5:12; Philippians 1:23).

I believe the redemptive work of Jesus Christ on the Cross provides healing for the human body in answer to believing prayer (Isaiah 53:4, 5; James 5:14, 15; 1 Peter 2:24) and that the Holy Bible refers to healing as the children's bread.

I believe that the miracles of the Apostolic Church continue throughout history.  The book of Acts does not end with an AMEN but rather serves as a guidebook to faith and practice today.

I believe that Jesus Christ is the Head of and the Lord of His Body, the Church and that His Church is made up of every baptized and faithful believer and that the Church was never intended to be a soley human institution interfering with the saving and sanctifying work of the Holy Ghost in the members of Christ's Body nor was it intended for the Church to become little more than a mere religious building. 

I believe that house Churches in Communion with the Church of the city represent the best Apostolic practice for today. 

I believe that the Apostolic Tradition of His Church, in both belief (orthodoxy) and practice (orthopraxy), is the manifested will of Our Lord Jesus Christ for His Church.

I believe that the historic episcopate of bishops, presbyters, and deacons was established by Christ through the Apostles as part of the eldership of the Church for the maintenance and preservation of the Church Universal and that it derives its authority from adherence to the Gospel of Jesus Christ

I believe that ALL Christians are called to the general ministry of Christ, both within and without of the Church, as living testaments to the loving grace and mercy of our Lord unto the world.

I believe that the Sacraments and Ordinances were instituted by our Lord, either directly or through the Apostles, as evidence of His continuing grace and mercy for the Church and for the further edification of the believer unto righteousness.

I believe that the Holy Spirit  moved upon believers throughout history in developing diverse Liturgical expressions of worship and that those expressions embodying the Apostolic tradition of the Church are worthy of acceptance and use by the Body of Christ.

I believe that the historical saints of the Church are examples of righteous living in Christ Jesus, worthy of remembrance but in no way worthy of veneration unto the point of intercession with Christ on our behalf. All believers have access to Christ through faith and to the Father through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Therefore I denounce the perversion of the faith by praying to saints (including Mary who is worthy of honor as the mother of Jesus through whom Christ was made manifest to the world).

I believe that the institutional church has increasingly embraced the ways of the world (secularism) since the time of the Council of Nicea (325 A.D.) unto the ever increasing degradation of its calling of service to the Lord evidenced by the continuous divisions and fracturing of the Body of Christ by submission to the spirit of rebellion and by embracing of  perversions of the Gospel of Our Lord Jesus Christ instead of adherence to the fullness of  Biblical Apostolic tradition.

I believe that I am called on to be SALT and LIGHT to my community; therefore I look for an Apostolic and Pentecostal church committed to being a 24/7 witness to those around me--every hour, every day, all the time.  This is manifest not only in prayer, praise, and worship, but also in right action and service to all people that God sends my way or sends me to. 

I believe that our Lord Jesus Christ is coming back in victory for a Glorious Church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing, Holy and without blemish.
