Tamil Christian Fellowship - Los Angeles area ![]() Tamil Christian Fellowship-Los Angeles area. we conduct Worship Service in Tamil, at least once in two months. With God's blessing, this will be increased in this year 2001. We are thankful to the Northridge United Methodist Church, and the Redlands University United Methodist Church for giving us the Fellowship hall regularly to conduct our Service in Tamil. Dr. Rev. Sam Kamaleson, Rev. Premkumar, & Dr. Rev. J.B.Jeyaraj have been helping us with their messages in Tamil, to improve our faith in Christ. Our Tamil Easter worship service was held on April 14th (Tamil New year day too..!)at Light of the Camyon United Methodist church in Anaheim as scheduled. Lots of Group singing with music, and amazing testimonies of Gods Grace, how God has always been the Good Shepard in our lives.And all this was topped by a very powerful sermon from Dr. Rev. Sam Kamaleson. It was a wonderful experience for all of us who were present. Please try to join us in our worship next time. Our July 21st worship service was held in Northridge United Methodist Church. Rev. Premkumar brought us God's Messaage, and the rest of the service was conducted by Rev. Jeyaraj. We had few new comers, and the music was conducted by Mathew & Sam Martin. Every one of us who attended the service had a happy blessed day. Our Tamil Service was held in Redlands University United Methodist Church, on September 15th around 7 PM. Mrs. Leela Rajaratnam brought us God's message, and we had lots and lots of singing with wonderful music from Mathew, Sam & Rajasekar. Many of our congregation took part in Bible reading and the "Witness" hour. We also prayed specialy for "World Peace" and the victims of World Trade Center. We had our Tamil Christmas Service at the Northridge Methodist Church, on December 22nd at 7:15 pm. We had over 200 people attended the service, which was enlightned by various family musical programs. Rev.Premkumar delivered the Xmas message, and the Santa delivered the christmas gifts to the children under 12 years. Every body had a great evening of Tamil Carol Songs, and after the service Potluck dinner. If you have missed this Tamil Service, you have missed a great opportunity to see the growth of our Tamil Christian Fellowship, and the individual music talents God has given to most our friends & wellwishers. Our Tamil Worship service was held as scheduled on the 23rd February 2002, at Redlands University Methodist Church. The sing songs and Music before the service, along with Matthew (Piano) Sam Martin (Guitar) and Rajkumar (Keyboard)brought lots of strength in God to the congregation. It was followed by special songs, and a very spritual message from Dr.Devadas Moses.We can feel Gods hands are getting stronger and stronger with every worship service we attend. The service ended with the fellowshp potluck dinner and lots of blessings from God. Our Tamil Easter Worship was held on April 6th, Saturday at the "LITTLE WHITE CHAPEL CHRISTIAN CHURCH" in the city of Burbank. Mr & Mrs. Balasingham hosted this service for the first time in Burbank. Rev. Premkumar conducted the service and Rev. Dr. Sam Kamaleson brought us God's message. Both the Pastors were well guided by God, brought us the best spritual service, and the attending members were all received Gods blessing, through this service. The Music was provided by Mr. Mathew (Piano) and Mr. Rajkumar (Keyboard)and lifted every ones spirit of singing Easter Hymns. Mr. Ravi Rasiah provided a special song, with his own composed music. Thank you for all the congregations support, and we prayed for people who couldn't make it to the service. Our Tamil Worship service on July 6th, was dedicated to our loving friend Jeyaraj Wilson, who passed away on June 6th 2002. We remembered his way of life of Simplicity, honest, hardworking, loving his family and friends, and down to earth attitude, throughout his life. Most of our congregation participated in this service, and a remembrance plaque was given to Mrs. Jeya Wilson to honor Jeyaraj's service and dedication to our Tamil Christian Fellowship. Rev. Premkumar gave a wonderfull sermon, pertaining to the great life after death. Every body had a chance to view the Video slide show, reminding us Jeyaraja's family life since he was a young Engineer. It was a very thoughtful and memorable service, and we all wish him to rest in peace, with our saviour Jesus Christ. Our Tamil Worship Service was held on 14th September 2002, at Redlands University United Methodist Church. We were blessed to introduce another great Guest Speaker, Rev.Dr. Paul Jacob. His sermon was very meaningful, strong and very humerous. The Congregation enjoyed his message, and he was appreciated for participating in our Tamil Worship service. The Witness time was very special for Mr & Mrs Bakiam Reuban. His son had a change of heart to go back home to Tamil-Nadu to continue his studies. According to the parents, this was a response from God, for their continued prayers. We thank God for all his guidance, and our faith increases every time we hear statements from our own, known friends. At the end we had a Super potluck dinner, before we left the service, with full of joy, love and faith. Our Tamil Christmas Worship Service was held at Northridge Methodist Church, on 21st December 2002, aroung 7 PM. In spite of the rainy day, we had around 200 + Tamil Loving members attended the service. Speciaal Music was provided by Matthew and Raj. Families took part in singing, sharing greatness of God by witness time, and children received gifts from Santa. We were fortunate to have two great Reverends participating in this service. Rev. Premkumar, and Rev. Nirmal Kumar (From New Zealand). Rev. Premkumar conducted the service, and the sermon came from Rev. Nirmal Kumar. Every one had a great time, including a super Pot Luck dinner. God had blessed us to continue this and bringing in new members, and New messages, and this is growing on well. We missed the presence of Mr. David Nesamony and family, due to a major surgery he went through the day before the Service. Every one prayed for his quick revcovery. Also this is the first Christmas service we missed Jeyaraj Wilson. He is with God, but still in our hearts. Whoever knowingly missed this service, missed a God Blessed fellowship, and we wish them all that they join us in our next worship service. Our first Tamil Service for 2003, was held in Redlands Methodist Church on Februay 22nd, the 4th Saturday of this month. We had a very good gathering and they had come from everywhere to listen to the God's words from Thiru. S. J. Louis. It was a well blessed and well delivered message in Tamil, and all the audience were mesmorized by the message. We had good sing songs with the help of Mr. Rajkumar in the Key-board. Also we had a group Special Song, which was well appreciated by every one. Mr. Nesamony took advantage of the Witness time, to praise God for the fast healing of his raptured Achilles. finally with a great blessing, and the Potluck dinner the service came to a great ending. Our Tamil Easter service was held on 20th April (Sunday) evening at Northridge Methodist Church. The congregation started singing Easter songs, and the service started with Easter prayer by David Nesamony, who also lead the service for the evening. Miss. Abigail Yogendran performed a special Easter dance, for the special music provided by her Grand Father and parents. This was followed by a beautiful song by Mrs. Peace Yogendran. Another wellknown professional Vocal Artist Mrs. Rose Muralikrishnan performed a special Easter song, and pleasantly surprised our congregation. Mr. Ravi Rasiah gave us a solo, with his charming voice. The music for this service was provided by our Raj,(Keyboard) and Sam Martin (Guitar). Rev. Premkumar delivered a strong Easter message. The children enjoyed a Easter Egg Hunting game arranged by Miss. Jessica Dhas. After the service, we had our fellowship dinner, and every one left with a lot of Easterly Joy, Light and Peace. Our Tamil Worship Service was held on July 26th 2003, at Redlands Methodist Church. Mr. David Nesamony was leading the Service. We had a very special speaker from Chennai. He is Rev. Sam Ram Paul, the Bishop of a denomination called Church of Christ in God. He came along with Dr. Abraham ([aka] Simon David) for this worship service, and gave us a wonderful message. We thank Mr. Lloyd Dhas for taking all the trouble to bring him to this service. Raj Munu's music was guiding all of us to sing wonderful hymns. Dr. Devados Moses started the meeting with his prayer, and Singer Rajkumar, and Ms. Pattu provided us special songs. The wintness time was well spent with testimonies, and it was a joy to "Share the blessings of God". The service was concluded with our usual potluck, and every body went home happy with God's blessings. Our Christmas Tamil Worship service was held on the 20th December, at Northridge Methodist Church. The congregation was singing Christmas Carols, before the Service. The Service was conducted by David Nesamony & Johnn David. The message was delivered by Rev. Premkumar. Raj Munu and Ravi Rasiah was in-charge of the Music. Mr. Dayalan and Mr. Ravi Rasiah gave us special songs. The fellowship honored Rev. Dr. Sam Kamaleson and Mrs. Adela Kamaleson by surprising them with a custom made Plaque in remembrance of their 50th Wedding Anniversary. The Father Christmas could not make it to the service, due to his illness... However, the children under 12 years of age still got their gifts, and enjoyed the evening very much. Miss. Jessica Dhas was helping with the children, during the time of service. The service was followed by the Christmas Potluck dinner and social get-to-gather. OUR TAMIL WORSHIP SERVICE WAS HELD AS PLANNED ON FEBRUARY 14TH - SATURDAY - AT REDLANDS UNIVERSITY METHODIST CHURCH - AT 6:30 PM. We had a very special Singing Gospel time conducted by Mr & Mrs. Gunalan,(from Madras) Joined by their daughter Mrs. Neesah Satish,(Orange County). The music was provided so efficiently by our own Raj Munu. Every one appreciated the singing and the Music. Then we had a special speaker, Mrs. Selvi Solomon, who delivered the God's message for the day. We also had witness time, and many from the congregation took part, and praise God for his Guidance and protection. After the service, everyone took part in the United Potluck Dinner, and went home with lot of happiness & blessings. Our Easter worship service was held in Redlands, on April 10th Saturday at 7:00 PM. We started the service with easter Hymns sang by the congegation, and the Music was porvided by Raj, Mathew and Sam Martin. Our special Guest Speaker was Pastor Suresh Babu (Power of Ministries) and he delivered a very powerful Easter Message, and it gave a new view of Easter, and a very meaningful and enjoyable evening to all the congregation. Our New Singer Sri-Ram along with our Musician Raj, gave us a wonderful song, to relax the congregation. Miss. Jessica Dhas entertained all the children with Easter Egg Hunting, and kept the Kids very busy for that evening. Over all it was a God Blessed Easter Service. We were all fortunate to be part of it. OUR "July Sepcial" service was held as we expected with introducing a new singer from San Jose, California, and a wonderful speaker from Tamil Nadu. Mr. Satya Prabhakar fgave us two new songs, with supportive music from our Raj Munu. Also Pastor Roy Jacob shared his experience with Jesus, and it was a great testimony to listen, and to assure our faith in Jesus. We had a special song from Dayalan, and he mesmorized the congregation as usual. It was a great Service, and a blessing to all our congregation, and we urge you all to come and share our spritual experience in our next servilce, on September 18th, Saturday at Redlands Methodist Church. WE had a wonderful gathering on September 18th, Saturday at Redlands Methodist Church. The best surprise was Mrs. Janet Munu, first time ever, singing a song of praise, with her "Music Man" husband Raj Munu. It was a wonderful surprise to all of us. We all encourage her to do more of this in the future, with God's help. Mr. Ravi Rasiah also had a new number presented from his own collection of songs, and the congregation loved this special song. Mr. Henry John brought us God's message, also he gave a solo performance in Tamil, with one of his favourite Tamil song. The servicd came to an end, with Dayalan's special song, and we all enjoyed a fellowship dinner after the service, as usual. Our Tamil Christmas Service was held on the 18th of December, 2004, at Northridge Methodist Church. Mr. David P.Johnson started the service with his prayer, and continued with Christmas Carols led by Mr. Dayalan, Sam Martin, RAvi Rasiah and Raj Munu. The lessons were read by Mrs. Suhanthi Naresh & Selvan. Ravi Devanandan.Special songs were sang by Rev. Henry John, and Mr.Balajii Iyangar. Soon after the Xmas Message by Rev. Premkumar, the Children's Christmas play took place. Most of our children of our members, and non members, and non Christian Children took part in this play. The audience appreciated the Play very much, and it was a great boost to our young participants, including our only adult participant "Anjela". After the play, Mr.David nesamony conducted the closing prayer. After Rev. Premkumar's blessing, the Christmas "THATHA" showed up with lots of gifts for the children, and made them very happy. Then it was the Potluck Christmas Dinner time, and every body enjoyed a nice dinner before they left home with Christmas Blessings. We thank all the Christian and Non Christian participants, who helped us to stage the Children Christmas play. Our 1st Tamil Worship service for the year 2005, was held on February 26, 2005,at Redlands Methodist Church. With a moderate gatheing, The Songs of praise was lead by Dayalan with Raj on the Keyboard.We also remembered our very good friend Chandran's first death Anniversary, with one of his favourite song, and a special prayer for his soul, and for the family members. Rev.Praveenkumar, a first time speaker in our fellowship, gave us the message and the congregation loved his talent of singing along with Raj's music, and his wonderful message. After the service we had our fellowship dinner, and our day came to a bleesing end with joy and peace of mind. Our Easter service was held on the Easter day, 27th of March, Sunday, at Redlands Methodist Church at 6:30 PM.The songs of praise was led by Mathew, Anisha and David Nesamony with Raj, our 'KEYBOARD' Maestro. We had witness time for the congregation participation, and praised God for the wonders he has performed on our friends from the fellowship. Rev. Paul Edison, from Madurai, Tamil Nadu, gave us the Easter message, and gave us new spirit and the real Easter feelings in our hearts. Everyone of our members had a wonderful evening, and shared our Easter Pontluck dinner before going home with Easter Joy and more faith in our God. On May 21st, we had our 3rd Tamil worship service for 2005, at Redlands. Dayalan and Raj led the opening songs of praise. During the service, we had special songs from Selvi Solomon, Meesha Satish, Jega Samuel, Mathew & Anisha, and Ravi Rasiah. The message was given by Pastor Sureshbabu, from Power Gospel Ministries, St.Jose, California. After the blessings, we had our fellowship dinner, and went home with full of joy and lot of blesssings. Our Tamil Worship service was held on August 27th, Saturday, at 7:00 PM, @ United University Methodist Church, Redlands. We had a good gathering and the service started with songs of praises conducted by Raj and Dayalan, with wonderful singing and keyboard music. All the congregation joined in praising God. The message for the day was given by Rev.Manuel Manasey, who is doing ministry work in Tamil Nadu, India. After the worship service, the fellowship dinner was enjoyed by all, and we all praised God for all his blessings...If you have missed this opportunity, please try to come for our next worship service... Our Tamil worship Service was held on September 24th Saturday, at Redlands University United Methodist church, as planed. After the songs of praise by Raj,Sam and others,the Bible lesson was read (Isaiah 44:1-8). Our surprise guest Dr. Muthiah,visiting from India, who gave us 3 different songs, with his violin music, made everyone appreciate this wonderful music talent. Our guest speaker Rev.Austin Albertraj gave us a sermon on the topic "GOD HAS CREATED US TO GLORIFY HIS NAME". It was wonderful to listen to the sermon in our superior language. Good singing, Good sermon, and it was wonderful Potluck after the service..God blessed us with all this new comers to our church, and we are having increased response from our community month after month. WHY DON'T YOU COME FOR OUR NEXT TAMIL WORSHIP SERVICE...? OurTamil Fellowship service was held on October 22nd 2005, at Redlands Methodist Church. Rev.Austin Albertraj brought us the Gospel News, along with the Music provided by Raj Munu & Company. Special songs were performed by Dayalan, Ravi Rasiah, and Saroja Arputhaswamy. Everyone enjoyed the service and after the Potluck dinner, we all praised God for the wonderful evening, and went home wuth a lot of blessings. Our Tamil Fellowship service was hekd on November 19th 2005, at Redlands Methodist Church. After the worship songs led by Raj Munu & Company, along with the Congregation, We had special songs by Dayalan and Ravi Rasiah on the evening. Mr. P.R.Samuel brought us the God's messaage, in commanding Tamil, and everyone enjoyed his humerous and very meaningful sermon. At the end of the service, we had our normal Potluck dinner, and went home with happiness and lots of blessings. Our CHRISTMAS TAMIL WORSHIP SERVICE was held on the 17 th December 2005 - Saturday - 6:30 PM -at Northridge Methodist Church,(FIRE SIDE ROOM). Raj & Dayalan started the worship service by leading the congregation to sing Christmas songs to create the Xmas spirit. Special songs were sang by Dayalan (Music by Raj Munu) and Ravi Rasiah (Music by Mathew) were well appreciated by the congregation. Mrs. Sara Balasingham & Mrs. Ramya KUmar were in charge of reading the lessons for the day. Rev. Sam Kamaleson brought us the very special xmas message, which mesmorized the congregation, and made them to think of christmas with a different spritual view. Father XMAS called in sick, but he was kind enough to send the xmas presents to the children who attended the service. After a Special Xmas potluck dinner, we all went home with lots of xmas blessings. Our Easter Tamil Worship service was held on the 15th April 2006, at Redlands University United Methodist Church.Rev. Sam Kamaleson brought us the special Easter Message. The singing of "Geetham, Geetham Jeya Jeya Geetham" was repeatedly sang by Annan Kamalesobn, and the congregation, cheerfully joined him. Many of our other friends were participating in individual singing, etc. It was a very enjoyable Easter Service, and we all went home with lots and lots of God's blessings. Our Tamil worship service was held at UUMethodist Church Redlands, on July 15th, around 7:30 PM. Due to a very bad traffic conditions, we had to start the service late...We apologize for this delay, and try our best to avoid this in the future. Raj and Dayalan started the service by praising hymns, and this was followed by Mr & Mrs. Gunalan & family also singing special songs to praise God. Rev. Premkumar brought us Gods Messages, regarding "Freedom". This was enjoyed by all of us, and we also heard songs from Saroja, Daniel, & Dayalan. After the blessings, we had our Fellowship POTLUCK dinner, before we left the church with blessings. Our special Tamil worship service was held on August 5th 2006, at Redlands. To honor Rev.John Wilmott, for his immaculate Service for God all these years. His message was very educational, and taught us to look at God from a very different angle. The title of the sermon was :"Yesu Poathumey". When he finishd preaching every one thought "Yesu Poathume"for all of us.. Mr. Rajasingh & Dayalan were giving us special songs.We thank God for Rev. John Willmott. After the wonderful service, we had our fellowship dinner, and left home with new, refreshed thoughts and blessings. Our Tamil worship service was held in Burbank. at the Little White Chappel, on September 23rd, Saturday at 7:00 PM. The opening prayer was conducted by David Nesamony. Rev. Premkumar brought us the special God's message, Titlled "Illamal Irukka Mudiyatha Moontru Kaariyangal". Very meaningful sermon with lots of reference from the bible. The Bible lesson, John 15: 1-10 was read by Vijitha Mani, and we had special songs from Dayalan Music support by Raj, and Ravi Rasiah with music support by Mathew. Both songs were enjoyed by the congregation,and acknowledged well. The witness time was a special part of our service, and we heard a very unusual miracle happened to our friend Mani, how he recovered from Cancer, by God's support and the medical team who very hesitantly did a major surgery on him. Also John David spoke on behalf of Dr.Rev.Sam Kamaleson, (at his request) who also recovered from his recent illness by God's Grace. Soon after the service, we had our fellowship dinner, and praise God for all our new energy we received from the message, witnesses, songs, and the special food brought by the congregation. Please try to be part of our next worship service and receive your blessings. Our worship service was held on October 7th,(2006)at Redlands University United Methodist Church, in the evening. Sam Martin, Mathew, and Daniel led the congregation with their talented, lively music & singing, and set-up the evening with full of energy to praise God. Mr.David Nesamony led the Service. The lesson for the day was chosen from the book of Jacob 1: 1-5, whcih was read by Jenita Martin. Pastor Issac Alesander (from Madurai, Tamil Nadu) brought us God's message for the evening, based on "Spritual Maturity" and spoke very well. After songs of praises, we completed the service with a Fellowhsip Potluck dinner, and a Happy Birthday celebration for Mr. David Nesamony. Every one us spent quality time listening to God's wonderful message and left home with new blessings. How about you all joining us next time at the Tamil Worship Service.?? Our Christmas Song Worship service was wonderfully held on December 23rd 2006, Saturday at Northridge Methodist Church - Fire Side Room - with more than full house congregation. With all singing and Bible reading, the kids showed their talent on the Piano. Jonathan & Mathew Balasingham & Pricilla Gnanapragasam showed the congregation how nicely they can play the Piano, with chosen chrismas rhymes. Mr. Hari Ramachandran read a "Tamil Cheyul-(poem)" to illustrate the meaning of Birth of Jesus. Then came the moment of "Engal Annan" Dr. Sam Kamaleson for the special message. This was titled "Netrum Intrum Entrum". The words say it all. It was a wonderful, well prepared sermon which was very carefully listned by our "House Full" congregation, and bible reading participation in between.!!We heard it all and it's still being heard in our ears long afer the sermon. What a wondrful message. (If you have missed it now, may be you all should be part of our service next time..) Soon after the service THE "CHRISTMAS THATHA" (Father Xmas) showed up and gave Chistmas Presents to all the children upto 12 years old. The children loved it, took photographs with the Santa. we had a wonderful wonderful Fellowhship dinner, and a after dinner social. Our surprise for the day was Rev. Premkumar attending our service, after completing his Doctarade. Yes... he is now Rev. Dr. Premkumar. Our Fellowship, along with our faithful congregation, gives our "Nal Vazhthukkal" to him. And also, we will be seeing more of him from now on..With all the exitements the wonderful day came to beautiful end..!!! Our First Tamil Worship service in 2007, was beautifully held in Redlands United Methodist Church Fellowship hall on the 24th February. In the absence of our musician Raj Munu, we were fortunate to have Sam Martin (Guitar) Mathew (Piano) and Dayalan was lead singer. Pastor Rajan Kaliappan, brought us God's blessed message, with lot of power and spirit. The congregation loved the way he presented the message. If you have missed his sermon this time, he has promised to comeback again.. soon. Mrs. Saroja Arputhaswamy sang a solo, without any music. It was a difficult song, but she sang it very well. We did not forget to remember our Friend Chandran's 2nd anniversary. After all the excitement of the service, we had our fellowship dinner, and went home with lots of blessings...again. Our Tamil "EASTER" Worship service was very exitingly held with some new programs, on the 7th April 2007. (LITTLE WHITE CHAPPEL, 1711 AVON ST. BURBANK, CA. 91505)Mr. David Nesamony was our Service Leader, and he was wonderfully doing this as usual.. After our worship hymns were led by Raj and Dayalan, we enjoyed Pricilla Gnanapragasam's Piano music. Then our children, who are born in the USA, thrilled us with their Tamil Easter song, Trained by our good Tamil Fellowsip members. It was realy an Easter gift for all of us. Then came the newly trained choir with their 2 songs. After training very seriously for few weeks, they made the congregation very happy. Thanx for the efforts of Sara & Bala, Ravi & vasantha and the other choir singers Chitra, Angela, and Vijitha. This was supported by Mathew's piano music, and Ravi's own music. It was good to know that Ravi Rasiah wrote one of those songs, and composed music too. Then came our special message from Dr. Rev. Sam Kamaleson, a truly spirited Easter message. Most of our congregation were emotionaly hearing his message with tears in their eyes. It was tears of joy, tears of memories, and tears of dedication to Jesus our Lord.. Paster Sugirtharaj was there to guide us into the closing prayers and blessing.. Soon after we had our wonderful Potluck dinner, we all went home praising God for a wonderful, Special Easter evening. Our Tamil Worship Service was held on May 26th 2007, at Redlands United Methodist Church, in the sanctuary, and was led by Mr. David Nesamony. After the wonderful sing song time led by Raj & Dayalan we had a special quartet song by Andrew and his friends. This was so melodius to listen. Then Janet Munu read the lesson for the day, from the book of Isiah 35: 1-10. Then our new voice of Mr.Benedict came out with a new song, supported by Raj & his Keyboard. After a very meaningful "Witness time" represented by many of our congregation sharing their experience with Gods guidance, Mr. Dayalan came out with a new special song. Then the message for the day "Manam Patharathirungal" was majesticaly brought by pastor Rajan Kaalilappan. It was a very sprited sermon, and the congregation loved every words of his message, and took part in the reference Bible reading. After we had special prayers for the many prayer requests we had, Rev. Muthiah conducted the final prayer, and the Benedition. Soon after the service, we had our Fellowhship Potluck dinner, and went home with lot of satisfaction, and Gods additional blessings. July 21st...Our Tamil worship service was fortunate to have Pastor Richard Vijay from Chennai, who was a Movie Music Director, turned to full time Gospel Singer/Composer/and preacher for the past 17 years. His visit was a surprise to all of us. However, it was a pleasant surprise to most of us. The style of worship was different, and who ever witnessed this service will highly vouch for it. Our good friend and Musician Raj, and his wife Janet hosted him for two days in their house, and made the plan for our worship service. With Pastor Richard Vijay composing, and Raj playing the music for most of his songs, it was a terrific musical feast for the congregation. Due to a short notice, most of our congregation could not attend. However, it was a blessed evening for the ones who showed up, and they enjoyed this service to their max. It was different, it was wonderful, and we would like to have few more Gospel singing worship like this. In between the songs, he gave us "kutty Kutty" messages, which was very interesting. We hope that he will visit us agian, and share his spritual experience, and testimony in detail with all of us. Soon after the service, we had our usual potluck dinner, and went home with lot of joy, new hope, and blessings. SEPTEMBER 29, 2007.- Redlands Methodist Church. Our worship service was conducted by Pastor Rajan Kaliappan, and our message was given by Rev. Dr. Premkumar...His first message after he received his special "DR" title.The opening singing was conducted by Mathew, Sam, Freddy and Raj. Raj was playing his accordian, instead of his Keyboard. Mathew was on the Piano, Sam Martin was his best with his Guitar. It was a real spritual singing by the leaders and the congregation. It was different, and it was very inspirational. The message was well delivered by Rev. Dr. P.and touched every one in the congregation. Pastor Kaliappan summarized the whole service, and injected additional spirit to the service. As usual we had our potluck dinner, and went home with additional blessings & lots of joy in our hearts. DECEMBER 22nd 2007: Our Christmas service went on very well, better than we expected. Lots of families, friends and well wishers gathered at the Northridge Methodist Church Assembly Hall, and almost filled to capacity. Rev. Dr. Premkumar started the service with his prayers, and it was followed by "Baktharey Vaarum" Christmas Hymn. Both readings were Voluntarily taken over by two beautiful ladies, Mrs. Stella Munu (Raj Munus Amma) and Mrs. Thilakam Britto (Shirley Johnson's Amma). Soon after the 1st reading Priscilla Gnanapragasam gave us a special Piano music, followed by Mr. Ravi Rasia's beautiful Tamil Christmas song. After the 2nd reading, The children of our friends and members sang a tamil song trained by our friend Chitra, Sara & Thilakam Britto. The mussic was provided by Raj Munu who practiced with the children few times. Then came the child singer Cynthia Johnson, with her own tamil song, and was again helped by Thilakam Britto and Raj Munu.Then Dayalan and Michele (Dayalan's daughter) gave us a beautiful Xmas song and they were helpled by Janet and Raj Munu. After that the Family music of Raj, Janet and children Ramesh & Dustin made the congregation so happy.Everyone appreciated the singers,and the young musicians who participated first time in our Tamil Worship service. This chain of music and songs followed by a beautiful Sermon by Rev.Dr. Sam Kamaleson (Ulagam tharatha Anbu) which the congregation were anxiously looking forward from the begining of the service. The message was very clear and simple, and it was told with humour and authority. After few more chiristmas songs, Rev.Dr. Premkumar brought us the closing prayer and blessings. Then came our "Christmas Thatha" (Father Xmas) with lots of gifts for the children. All the children and the young singers got special gifts from "Christmas Thatha". This also made the children and their parents very happy. Then we all enjoyed a well prepared fellowship dinner, and went home with peace, Goodwill and lots of joy in our hearts. We would like to thank all those who helped to make this a very very successful Tamizh fellowship Christmas worship service. ![]()
