Mark 13:10
And the gospel must first be published among all nations
What gospel you ask?
John 3:17 says - For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world;but that the world through him might be saved.
John 3:36 says - He that believeth on the son has everlasting life.
Romans 10:9 says - If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Salvation comes through faith in Jesus Christ and in acceptance of the sacrifice he made on our behalf, Salvation is a gift freely offered to all , but as with any gift you must receive it or accept the gift . God will not force you to be saved.
Every person has a choice to make at some point , Do I believe in Jesus and his resurrection , do I accept him as my Lord and saviour or do I go on trying to live life my own way doing my own thing and live and die separated from God and facing a judgement of eternity in hell.
Does God send people to hell? People choose to go there by there resusal to accept God and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ.
There is simply no other way into heaven except through Christ Jesus, money and power can't get you there, being a good person or doing good deeds in and of themselves can't get you there. There is no point system to get you into heaven. Only faith in Jesus Christ can bring salvation
Maybe you know all ABOUT Jesus , but do you know Jesus, there is a huge difference between knowing about someone and knowing the person. For example I know about George Bush, I know he is a real person , but I don't know George Bush. I've never met the man. You may know about Jeus and may know he is real, but do you know him?
If you have never made Jesus the Lord of your life , you can do so by simply praying and asking Jesus into your life as your personal Lord and savior. If you aren't sure what to pray you can use this simple prayer
Lord Jesus , I know that you are the Son of God, I know that you gave you life for me, and that you rose again. Lord come into my life now as my personal Lord and Saviour , forgive all my sins both known and those things , I may not have even recognised as sin. Lord come into my heart and I thank you now Jesus that old things are passed away and all things are become as new, that I am now a new person in you Lord and help me lord to grow in the knowledge and understanding of both you and your word. In Jesus name . Amen
