Romans Road to Salvation
Man is a sinner....
"As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:" Romans 3:10
" For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;" Romans 3:23
The Penalty for sin is death....
" Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: " Romans 5:12
" For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. " Romans 6:23
Christ came and paid the penalty for sin....
" But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8
It is by believing in Christ that we experience His forgiveness....
"9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." Romans 10:9-10
Dear Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner. I believe that You died on the cross and I accept You as my Savior. I want to turn my from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and become the Lord of my life. I want to thank You because I know You have forgiven me and have come into my heart just as You promised that You would. In Jesus precious name I pray Amen.
