Inetta is a born again Christian and she tells how she went from Sharecropper to Shareholder with power, authority and transparency. In one lifetime, she has managed to come up from the cotton fields to the board room, and talks about it with electric flair. She isn't afraid to laugh at her own shortcomings, however she is a real "pull yourself up from the bootstraps" type of speaker.
She believes in hard work, and stands on James 2:20 “But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?” Nothing is gained without working for it, believing God for it, and putting Him first in all that you do. No matter where you came from, don't use it as an excuse. She was born illegitimate in the 50's, (which at that time was a disgrace and shame for the family), therefore she was given away at birth, raised on a farm of sharecroppers, physically abused, sexually abused, ostracized, ridiculed, poverty stricken, segregated, and bound by traditions. BUT GOD.....!!
She challenges you to find and hold close the mercy of God that surrounds you, and prescribes liberal doses of laughter, perspective, focus and giving yourself license to live life at its fullest, no matter what your circumstances. You can MAKE IT! Give yourself permission to LIVE!
She has been met with her share of personal hardships. In 1986 she was diagnosed with depression and anemia, then thirteen years later she was diagnosed with Lupus, She has had nine surgical operations, one abortion, and a big dose of unforgiveness. BUT GOD...! She has found that you have to give yourself permission to live, not in pity, but in abundance. GOD IS ABUNDANCE, but partnered with integrity, character and substance. SO she heard the voice of God say....LIVE! LIVE! LIVE!... to declare the works of the LORD.
She is an inspiration to many and also enjoys speaking about marriage. She is a member of the AAA CLUB( Triple A ) ... Abuse, Adiction and Adultery. However, the marriage has been sustained, they made it over some rough and treacherous times and has been married to her complete opposite for over thirty years, raised two sons and they have one grand-daughter.
Inetta's new book, "The FOOD of GOD" which is one of seven volumes to be published, is a very exciting discovery. This book helps your physical body line up with the spirit that is housed in your temple(body). She credits the food that she eats to a healthier lifestyle, more energy, and a healing of her body and spirit. There is more to come, so stay tuned for the ride of your life, because she has been called by God to "Tell the Truth."
