Close Friends
My dear friends are my lifeline
I am Blessed with so many
Oh, how my heart aches
For those that don't have any
A friend can brighten up your day
With one small red rose
Maybe a plate of cookies
The kind that you love so
Sometimes she just lends an ear
To help your troubled mind
A shoulder you may cry on
So peace maybe you'll find
The time spent with your friends
Don't have to be so sad
You can enjoy good laughter
And all the friends you have
You can talk about your babies
Your home and what to wear
Talk about the PTA
And all the people there
You can tell each other secrets
That no one else must know
You'll keep it secret forever
No matter where you go
Amd when you have a Christian friend
That is even better
You'll never have to loose her
You will always be together
God has given many gifts
From beginning to the end
One of his best choices
Was when He created Friend
