Just met Tommy Lucas tonight at a CMA dinner/meetn' in Conroe Texas. It blew my mind to learn Barry went home. Ive been so busy with runn' home church and writing music and all sortsa business, that Ive been outa touch with the brothers servn' in the wind. Man I really love that Barry; He was always so blessed to see when he came up to the Glorious rally in Oklahoma, back when I lived up there. After receiving an e-mail from GOTC this am with the link to your page I decided to take a little side trip and check it out. I was, for 5 years, the event coordinator for CareNet Pregnancy Services annual motorcycle run. Through that run I became aquainted with many MM. I have also had the honor of meeting Barry Mayson at our church here in Dickson as he was a friend of Steve Davis, HSMM old Dickson Chapter,No one preaches as 'real and in your face' as a biker, and Steve is a friend of mine who tells it like it is. Having said all of this I want you to know how deeply your testimonies touched my heart. God is so Good... Never have I been to the point that you have but too close..I especially relate to your wife and her 'experiances' in her younger days. 1605 West 35th (rear apt) Amarillo, Texas 79109 Reading your life story was like reading my own story, except when I was busted for meth, my wife (who never did drugs)of 24 years spend every penny she had and could come up with to get me out of jail. What did I do? As soon as I was out and on probation I left her and my son and followed the devil and divorced my loving, devoted wife and married a woman 20 years younger than me, I love my new wife also. To this day I have not made my amends to my x wife or my son, I walked and never looked back. I now am President of the Solders For Christ, everynight the last thing I think of is my x wife and son and the damage and hurt I caused in their life, I know they are better without me. I just do not know how to make my amends to them. Please keep my x wife and my son in your prayers. Thank You for sharing your story.

At the Reality Zone play in Marianna, Florida that Roger played Jesus in, I found out my father was dying ... I knew he was sick but I found out while doing the scenes that he wasn't going to come out of this last episode. Please pray for him that his soul is cleansed he is prepared for a life everlasting with Christ. Thanks!!!

I visited this site a few times in 2007..Shortly after, in Sept 007, I went to prison. I served my lord while in there and truely believe that he is the only reason whu I even made it out. I was sentenced to 5 yrs, all but 1. I was released after 9 months...I recieved all my good time and got out early. I am now facing 3 yrs probation...I have 20 hrs of com service. Praise the Lord. I will get through this too.

I continue to pray for your ministry because I know you are reaching those that need to hear what you have to share. I wrote you & asked for something to give my brother & his wife. You were faithful & kept your word. I gave them the books & info. I only wished they would have hit their knees & read it. They are both back in jail. This is my brother's third time down. He just turned 39, he's the baby of 8 kids, I am oldest. It's his first time for drugs, but there are numerous other charges against him also. All I can do is pray. Brother and Sister your testimony touched me big. Nothing blesses my heart more than hearing about what God has done and is doing for folks. The tears of joy were stinging at my eyes, and then I scrolled on down to the photo of yall with REV. BARRY MASON!!! I nearly lost it! I met Barry several times back in the 80's when he came to my church to share his life. I'm not in church now, but I love God as much as ever. At the time I was a member of Joy Assembly Of God, right here in Southport, NC. I bought several of his tapes. My children and I have often wondered what ever became of him. Granted... he looks a 'little older' now, but don't we all? I know I sure do. I can't tell you how it blesses my heart to know that he is still going strong. He probably doesn't know it, but my former pastor, Rev. Bill Riley, passed away in the late '90s. Barry stayed in Bill's home whenever he came to Southport. There's no way he could ever forget Bill. He was the best God loving preacher I ever had. He and his wife Dickie went into the mission field in Angola. I sorely miss them both, since he has gone on to be with the Lord, and Sister Dickie went back to Angola. Please pray for her ministry. She's a good woman. I have another prayer request for you, but that can be presented in another forum. I don't want to take up too much of your space here. I just needed to tell you that I feel a bond here... I didn't have the same life as you did, but it was no bed of roses either. We had struggles. But before I leave, I must tell you something funny. I was planning to click the button to email this page to a friend. As I was typing this message, I noticed the first comment and signature under this one. It is the friend I was planning to email this page to. I got goosebumps! lolol... I didn't know her then. She is the girlfriend of my ex-husband. She's very dear to me. And if you really want to flip her out and make her laugh, then you can call her Weeters. That's our little nick-name for her. Thankyou Brother and Sister for your love and obedience to God. I will pray for you and I will support your ministry financially. I will step out in faith and trust God to provide my needs. I know he does, because I sure ain't losing any weight!lol... I myself have lived a very similar life with my late husband. I sobered up in 2000 he continued to drink and party, in 03 we seperated I could no longer have it in my life, 3 months later he ended his own life. God bless you both for the work you do, I know you have a hard road ahead, but together with God ya'll will make the difference in lives so they wont end the way our's did.

Praise God, I have been clean 7 years this past January. My husband died June 1, 2001 after 'one last time'. It's a long story, but I know where he is, and that's where I draw my strength. The GOD I believe in doesn't need my cash or donations. I believe in following my true will and to serve others that need my support, understanding and advocating their needs. I wake up every day and accept my challenges willingly to do the best I can, I cannot go wrong if I at least make the effort. HI! JUST DROPPED IN TO GIVE A COMPLIMENT! I LIVE IN LEESVILLE, LA. RIGHT BESIDE FT. POLK, LA. WHEN I MOVED TO LEESVILLE IN 1979, THERE WAS A MOTORCYCLE GANG HERE THAT WAS SO TERRIBLE EVERYONE SHIED AWAY FROM THEM. THEY REEKED HAVOC ON THE WHOLE TOWN. NEVER HEARD ANYTHING NICE ABOUT THEM. SOMEWHERE OVER THE YEARS, THE REALLY BAD ONES FADED AWAY. WE ALL BEGAN TO SEE A DIFFERENCE IN THE ONES THAT WERE LEFT. BUT AFTER ALL THE TOWNSPEOPLE HAVE BEEN THROUGH OVER THE YEARS, IT HAS BEEN HARD TO BEGIN TO TRUST THEM. THEY DO THINGS NOW LIKE A TOY RUN AT CHRISTMAS FOR UNDERPRIVILIGED CHILDREN AND WHEN WE HAD ALL THE HURRICANES LAST YEAR, THEY WORKED INCESSANTLY TOWARD HELPING GETTING FOOD AND MEDICINE OUT TO PEOPLE WHO COULDN'T GET IN TO GET IT! VERY COMMENDABLE. I AM NOT SAYING THAT THEY ARE "DYED IN THE WOOL" CHRISTIANS, BUT THERE IS DEFINITELY A DIFFERENCE IN THE CHARACTER OF THE MOTORCYCLE CLUB HERE OF TODAY THAN IN THE LATE 70'S AND THE EARLY 80'S. EVERYONE STILL HAS RESERVATIONS THOUGH. A COUPLE OF MONTHS AGO I WAS IN BURKEVILLE, TX. (ABOUT 30 MILES FROM LEESVILLE) WITH MY HUSBAND AT DEER HUNTING CAMP. HE SENT ME TO THE STORE.... WELL, THE CLOSEST ONE IS BURKEVILLE(YOU HAVE TO GO ABOUT 11 OR 12 MILES TO GO TO ANOTHER ONE). AS I DREW CLOSE TO THE STORE, I SAW A BUNCH OF BIKES WITH FOLKS WEARING MOTORCYCLE REGALIA STANDING AROUND EVERYWHERE. I HAD NO CHOICE BUT TO GO THAT STORE. BELIEVE ME, BECAUSE OF MY EXPERIENCE WITH THE OTHERS, I DREADED ANY CONFRONTATION AND WANTED TO TURN AROUND. BUT MY NEED FOR THE STORE WAS GREATER, SO I PULLED IN RELUCTANTLY. BRACING MYSELF FOR ANYTHING, I GOT OUT AND HEADED FOR THE DOOR WITH MY HEAD DOWN TO KEEP FROM HAVING EYE CONTACT WITH ANY OF THEM(TRYING TO SKIRT AROUND TROUBLE). THE FIRST THING I HEARD WAS "BEAUTIFUL DAY ISN'T IT"? IT WAS A KIND VOICE THAT MADE ME LOOK UP INTO THE FACE. IT WAS A PLEASANT FACE, WEATHERED WITH AGE, BUT A HUGE SMILE BEFITTING THE HAPPIEST PERSON ON EARTH. I SAID, "WELL YES IT IS A WONDERFUL DAY!" I TOOK A GLANCE AT ALL THE OTHERS STANDING AROUND AND REALIZED THEY WERE ALL SMILING. HMMMMM, I THOUGHT "WHAT IS UP WITH THESE FOLKS?" THE BIKER THAT FIRST SPOKE HELD THE DOOR OF THE STORE OPEN FOR ME. I SAID "THANK YOU" AND WENT ON INSIDE. WHEN I PICKED OUT WHAT I NEEDED I HEADED FOR THE REGISTER. THERE WERE SEVERAL PEOPLE AHEAD OF ME IN LINE. AS I STOOD THERE WAITING, I REALIZED THAT ALL OF THE PEOPLE IN FRONT OF ME WERE ALSO BIKERS. I FOUND MYSELF STARING AT THE BACK OF ONE OF THEM AND OF COURSE, I BEGAN TO READ HIS PATCHES. WHAT A SURPRISE! CHRISTIAN MOTORCYCLE RIDERS! RIDING FOR JESUS! HMMMMMMM! THESE ARE MY PEOPLE TOO! ALL OF THEM WERE ENGAGED IN VERY PLEASANT CONVERSATION WITH THE CLERK. BEFORE I GOT AWAY FROM THAT STORE, I WAS TALKING AND LAUGHING WITH ALL OF THEM. SUCH A PLEASANT EXPERIENCE! CHANGED MY ATTITUDE IMMENSELY! MADE MY DAY! I WENT BACK TO THE HUNTING CAMP TELLING MY HUSBAND ABOUT THEM AND HOW NICE THEY WERE..... IT WAS GOOD TO SEE THAT EVIDENCE OF GOD CHANGING LIVES!

G'mornin'! It's about 1:30p on Saturday Sept. 9th 2006. I wanted to let y'all know how EXTREMLY proud I am to be able to call you brothers and sisters in Christ. I was in yahoo cc15 this morning when Mr. Happoldt entered. I can't remember his handle but he entered with an invitation of prayer for anyone who needed help. I stepped out and said that it looked like he had a testimony. He said I guess and proceeded to post this website in the room. I hope I'm no the only one who took the time to investigate it. I don't have trials in my life like the Happoldt's have had, however; I have trials. I hope you and your ministry are fruitful and that one day in heaven you'll be richly rewarded for what you've done on behave of our Father in heaven. I pray that God keep angels encamped around each of you to guard from the slings and arrows the enemy will try to use. You all have found your Strongtower.
