Some accusations are made outside the court, but formal ones are made in one. The formal accusations may not match up and may not be of the severity imagined. After the court statements, someone may say:
When his acusers got up to speak, they did not charge him with any of the crimes I had expected.
Acts 25:18
Aber die Anklagen, die seine Gegner vorbrachten, gingen gar nicht auf irgendeinen Rechtsbruch, wie ich bis dahin vermuten mußte. - German

Me? A criminal?

A natural question with various word variations is:

What is my crime? - Genesis 31:36; 1 Samuel 20:1
What have I done? - Isaiah 20:1
Quel crime ai-je commis? - French
¿Cuál es mi delito? - Spanish
¿De qué se me acusa? - Spanish
¿Qué crimen he cometido? - Spanish
Quale delitto o quale errore ho commesso? - Italian

What sin have I committed? Genesis 31:36
¿Cuál es mi pecado? - Spanish
How have I wronged your__________? 1 Samuel 20:1
Che colpa ho verso tuo ___________? - Italian
When "the crime" has been identified, I can state whether I am innocent or guilty.

The innocent sentence is in 3 Bible verses. Jeremiah 2:35 seemingly translates the best. (+ Job 34:5; Acts 20:26)
I am innocent.

Io sono innocente. - Italian
(Io ho ragione.) - Italian (not best equivalent)
Io non ho colpa. - Italian
Je suis innocent. - French
Ich bin unschuldig. - German

The guilty sentence is in Acts 25:(11). It is found after the word if. The verse includes a promise to do better.

I am guilty.
Sono colpevole. - Italian
Je suis coupable. - French.
Ich .... Unrecht getan. German

I will offend no more.
Giuro di non peccare più. - Italian
Je renonce à mal faire. - French
Ich will nicht mehr verderbt handeln. - German
**************

A person admits to specific wrongdoing (and may deny other specific wrongdoings.)

This time I have (guilt/_______) - Exodus 9:27
Cette fois, j'ai eu tort. - French
Diesmal bekenne ich mich schuldig. - German

Which version at trial is the truth?
____________ is in the right. - Exodus 9:27
_________, lui, agit avec justice. - French
___________ist im Recht. - German

Who is in the right may not be known. But who is wrong may be known!
I (and my people) are in the wrong. - Exodus 9:27
C'est mon peuple et moi qui sommes(pl.) coupables. - French (It's I and my people)
C'est moi qui est(sing.) coupable. - French (It's I who...)
Ich (und mein Volk) sind im Unrecht. - German

Be careful with the other words in sentences, when you adapt them for other situations. The Holy Spirit gives discernment. (Important is: in the wrong/coupable/im Unrecht)

God put these words in the Bible. They can be used for right or wrong. God cautions us about believing these words all the time when said. After all the words of these specific verses were put into the mouth of Moses' Pharaoh.
