Who We Are and What We Believe
![]() The Lakehouse is an apostolic, prophetic, charismatic, evangelistic, Christian ministry. Our focus is being a ministry with no limitations; reaching out to our city, our State, our country, and those around the world with the message of new life in God through Jesus Christ. This means being under the Lordship of Jesus Christ and following the leadership of the Holy Spirit. With God, there are no limitations! Through the publication of pamphlets, books, electronic media and other teaching materials, our goal is to reach the Body of Christ and lost with the full Gospel of Jesus Christ. We prayerfully concentrate on being disciples of Christ, on the study of Holy Scripture, on meditation, forgiveness, mercy, compassion, and love. Our main emphasis is the inner spiritual life of the human being which is our relationship with God! This is our mission, our life, our salvation: to become united in communion with the Ground of our being, the One and Only Holy God. The Lakehouse is dedicated to teaching how to worship God in Spirit and in truth, to learn the deeper truths of Holy Scripture, to learn the historic Christian contemplative tradition, to exercise the gifts of the Holy Spirit, to build up the Body of Christ, and to win the lost to Christ. What We Believe The Nicene Creed We believe in one God, Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth and of all things visible and invisible. And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the only-begotten Son of God, begotten of the Father before all ages. Light of Light, true God of true God, begotten not made, of one essence with the Father, by Whom all things were made. Who for us men and for our salvation came down from heaven and was incarnate of the Holy Spirit and the Virgin Mary and became man. And was crucified also for us under Pontius Pilate, and suffered and was buried; And the third day He rose again, according to the Scriptures; And ascended into heaven and sits at the right hand of the Father. And He will come again with glory to judge the living and dead, Whose kingdom shall have no end. And in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the Giver of life, Who proceeds from the Father, Who together with the Father and the Son is worshipped and glorified, Who spoke through the prophets. And we believe in One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church. We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins. We look for the resurrection of the dead and the life of the age to come. Amen. ![]()
