FACING THE FINAL CHALLENGE FOR THE PROMISE

WE JUST BELIEVE
TO RECEIVE: Gen: 22: 18 And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice!!!
We cannot re-write the truth---- the truth stands all by itself-all we have to do IS BELIEVE to receive!!!Yes, legalistic folks would say there has to be a catch! I have to do something before this happens! You have to give something to get something.
My Bible has always read: I John 3: 17, 18 But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him? vs 18 My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in TRUTH!!! The promise spoken by GOD: Gen.17:1-8 And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the Lord appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect.
vs 2 And I will make my covenant between me and thee, and will multiply thee exceedingly
vs 3 And Abram fell on his face: and God talked with him, saying,
vs 4 As for me, behold, my covenant is with thee, and thou
shalt be a father of many nations,
vs 5 Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee.
vs 6 And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee.
vs 7 And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee.
vs 8 And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land wherein thou art a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God.
Gen; 17: 19 AND God said, Sarah thy shall bear thee a son indeed: and thou shalt call his name Isaac: and I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant, and with his seed after him.
Notice" HIS SEED" is generations of families: we are in the most blessed generation of them all for we are in the one that "the former and latter rain have come together" and we shall see the GLORY in THE HOUSE as never before and never again!! Our Day of ATONEMENT IS HERE in this season of OCTOBER 2006!!!
Gen. 18:9-14 vs 9 And they said unto him, Where is Sarah thy wife? And he said, Behold in the tent.
vs 10 And he said, I will certainly return unto thee according to the time of life; and lo, Sarah thy wife shall have a son. And Sarah heard it in the tent door
which was behind him.
vs 11 Now Abraham and Sarah were old and well stricken in age; and it ceased to be with Sarah after the manner of women.
vs 12 Therefore Sarah laughed within herself, saying, After I am waxed old shall I have pleasure, my lord being old also?
vs 13 And the Lord said unto Abraham, Wherefore did Sarah laugh, saying, Shall I of a surety bear a child, which am old?
vs 14 IS ANY THING TOO HARD FOR THE LORD? At the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son.
This verse is profound in that NOW we know there is ''NOTHING IS TOO HARD for God ''and HE has compassion on Abraham and lets him know what to expect!!God does the same with us-He knows His plans and puts those plans on the table of our hearts and we go about carrying them out at His expected time which is our "UNEXPECTED" time: meaning we never knew it could be this good at this time! What a DREAM COME TRUE on all fronts!! That information is found in ; vs 17 And the Lord said, Shall I hide from Abraham that thing which I do; vs 18 Seeing that Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him? What if God would speak this of YOU?What will you do when He choses you? Do you want to be chosen for such a time as this?
vs 19 For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the Lord, to do justice and judgment; that the Lord may "bring upon" Abraham that which he hath spoken of him.
Gen. 21: 1,2 And the LORD visited Sarah as he had said, and the LORd did unto Sarah as he had spoken. vs 2 For Sarah conceived, and bare Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him.
Here we have God giving to Abraham just what He said HE would do yet there was one thing that was lacking toward God. There had to be proof that the child was not the pivetal point in Abraham's life but that God was WHO ABRAHAM really loved and served!! Abraham went on a promise that he would have what God says he would have only and believed that only!There was an action carried out on the past of Abraham too-that-that promise was not more than HIS (OUR) GOD in his heart!!! We have proof of this and to respect the Word of God with GRACE and effectiveness, power and love all wrapped up is the formula for success which yields wealth on any level!!
Heb. 11:8 By faith Abraham when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed and he went out not knowing whither he went.
Now we go onto the final test:: for promotion and receiving the final frontier of your life!!
Gen 22:1-18 vs 1 And it came to pass after these things, that God did tempt Abraham, and said unto him Abraham: and he said, Behold, here I am.
vs 2 And he said, Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I tell thee of.
vs 3 And Abraham rose up early in the morning, and saddled his ass, and took two of his young men with him, and Isaac his son, and clave the wood for the burnt offering, and rose up, and went unto the place of which God had told him.
vs 4 Then on "the third day " Abraham lifted up his eyes, and saw the place afar off.
vs 5 And Abraham took the wood of the burnt offering, and laid it upon Isaac his son: and he took the fire in his hand, and a knife; and they went both of them together.
vs 6 And Abraham took the wood of the burnt offering, and laid it upon Isaac his son; and he took the fire in his hand, and a knife; and they went both of them together.
vs 7 And Isaac spake unto Abraham his father, and said, My father: and he said, Here am I my son. And he said, Behold the fire and the wood: but where is the lamb for a burnt offering?
vs 8 And Abraham said, My son, God will ""provide himself a lamb"" for a burnt offering; so they went both of them together.
vs 9 And they came to the place which God had told him of; and Abraham built an altar there, and laid the wood in order, and bound Isaac his son, and laid him on the altar upon the wood.
vs 10 And Abraham stretched forth his hand, and took the knife to slay his son.
To me this speaks to us who have the promise from the Lord- as we bind it up, and get ready to slay it on the altar" God is faithful to give us also the offering that is caught there by the horns --to take the place of removing the promise/dream which shall be!!!God is such a loving God but as He gave His SON so must we give our promise of sonship and service to Him as the offering for the exchange to do the "WORK of Christ on this earth-this enables us to flow in the glory of His Appearing IN US!!!
vs 11 And the angel of the Lord called unto him out of heaven, and said Abraham, Abraham: and he said, Here am I.
vs 12 And he said, Lay not thine hand upon the lad, neither do thou any thing unto him: for now I know that thou fearest God, seeing thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only son from me.
Here is the offering already:
vs 13 And Abraham lifted up his eyes, and looked, and behold behind him a "ram caught in a thicket by his horns": and Abraham went and took the ram, and offered him up for a burnt offering in the stead of his son.
vs 14 And Abraham called the name of that place Jehovah-jireh: as it is said to this day,"" In the mount of the Lord it shall be seen.""
vs 15 And the angel of the Lord called unto Abraham out of heaven the second time,
vs 16 And said, By myself have I sworn saith the Lord, for because thou hast done this thng and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son:
vs 17 That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies;
Again vs 18 And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed: because thou hast obeyed my voice!!!
Knowing that as you have read about Abraham our father and that what He did was in fact-love HIS GOD-the True and living GOd above all---there you get results! The action with reation--GOD

The blessing has been passed down to us and it has stayed alive by the blood of Jesus and the Word of your testimony that JESUS IS LORD of your life.
To be single of heart toward GOD--- Col. 3:22 and if your heart doesn't seem right I John 3:20- God is greater than your heart!! ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE TO THOSE WHO BELIEVE TO RECEIVE! WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR!!!
