In the Name of Jesus Christ get up and walk.” The man jumped to his feet and began to walk. Verse 16-the people were astonished by it! Peter said to them, “By faith, in the Name of Jesus who you put to death, this man now walks.” Verse 22-”Moses said that this Jesus who made this man walk is God’s one to come like me, He is God’s prophet.” (Deuteronomy 18:15) Verse 23-anyone who does not listen to Jesus will be completely cut off.

Chapter 4: Verse 8-then Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, said, “you rulers and elders of the people, salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to all man by which we must be saved.” The people said, “these men are unschooled, how can this all be?” Then they called Peter and John and commanded them not so speak or teach at all in the Name of Jesus. Peter said, “We will obey God only.”

Chapter 5: Verses 28-32-the Sanhedrin said, “we gave you strict orders not to teach in this name, yet you have filled Jerusalem with your teaching.” Peter and the other apostles replied, “We must obey God rather than man! We are witnesses of Jesus and what He did and so is the Holy Spirit, the Spirit that God has given to all those who obey Him.” Verses 38-39-Gamaliel, a teacher, said, “leave these men alone! Let them go, for if their purpose or activity is of human origin it will fail, but if it is from God you will not be able to stop anyone, you will only find yourself fighting against God.” (Acts 22:3)

Chapter 6: Verses 12-15-some of the apostles stirred up the teachers of the law so they seized Stephen and brought him before the Sanhedrin and said, “He was lying.” All of them looked intently at him and they saw that his face was like the face of an angel.
