For many years this area has been sustained by the industry of fishing mainly Tilapia and Nile Perch (Barramundi).
The language that is now spoken here is Luo but was originally Suba.
There are many islands around this place such as Mfangano and Rusinga the latter is now attached to Mbita by a causeway.
OUR AIM
To see Suba district come out from under the curse of poverty and sickness by going into the villages with the gospel of Jesus Christ, training people how to win souls for Jesus and bringing them into the kingdom of God and on to maturity.
