EVOLUTION
Spiralling, fizzing in the emptiness once a void,
resistant matter between pierced ears.
Growing up at least tentatively
putting away desires that once ravished
mind, body, spirit.
My soul howled baying at the moonlit heavens
hoping against hope a sound, echo in response
to my assistance's.
A REASON FOR …..
Everything has a reason easy concept to believe in
try it for just one day.
Search for that reason
in anything you do or say
from the time you wake up
till you go to bed,weary at trying
to figure the reason.
TO BE A CHRISTIAN
What do I need to do to join the family,
the Brotherhood of Christ.
Knowledge of scripture rehearsed
chapter and verse
is of course requirement to some.
Hymns, chorus,sung
preference dictates the clan.
To keep the faith alone,is hard
I am frequently told.
I believe I know Jesus,
the Lord God.
He teaches leads the way on my
walk of faith.
Methodist, Baptist,Anglican Evangelist or even
Christian I will be.
THE TRUTH
Mission, not a job, calling from above.
Pay, conditions set long ago.
Reason for being not just living something else,
as if knowing meaning for life.
Do you realise how phenomenal that is.
Skeptical, that is ok I understand.
When I say Jesus talks,
you look in disbelief cast judgement,
in judging me you judge yourself,
revealing the reality of you.
Holding a mirror aloft
behold hidden depths
deceitfulness crushed,
honesty laid bare
weakness exposed
frail inner man.
Acceptance surrounds
love, a fragile bloom emerges
enfolding us within,
encasing amid fragrant velvet petals.
