MEET OUR PASTOR, HIS WIFE, AND THEIR FAMILY
|
Prior to his becoming the pastor of Living Truth Community Church, Pastor Sickel served four previous churches in Ohio and Maryland as a church planter, church developer, senior pastor, and pastor of outreach and discipleship. He and his wife Karen have also ministered overseas on several short-term ministries to Africa and Haiti where they trained pastors and church leaders in Evangelism Explosion and helped to build churches.
Pastor and Karen were married in 1980 and have five children...Brent (youth pastor in a Chinese church in Detroit, MI), Danielle, Jordan, Alec, Kailyn, one daughter-in-law...Beth who became a part of their family in June 18, 2005 when she married Brent, and one son-in-law...Ben who was married to Danielle on October 20, 2007. The Sickels also have one granddaughter Brynn who was born to Brent and Beth.
Pastor Sickel brings to the local church a shepherd’s heart evidenced by his genuine love for people and his passion for declaring the truth of God’s Holy Word in a very straight forward yet practical way.
