My mother has a lemon tree so I get free lemons every year. My Mom has made homemade lemonade for years.
I squeeze the juice and then freeze it in an ice cube tray. I take the cubes and put them in a marked bag ready for the next pitcher.
Boil for 10 minutes:
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
Add the juice of 6 lemons (1 cup, 2 tb. juice)
3 1/2 cups of water
Yields: 1/2 pitcher of lemonade
Orange Sherbert Punch
You can make this to taste. These are the portions my sister in love used for Thanksgiving.
3/4 of a 3 liter lemon-lime soda
1/2 of a bottle of a liter of orange soda
1 pint of orange sherbert (use less than the pint)
