Author's Bio
Sherri C. Walker
Sherri C. Walker is a native of Pennsylvania and lives there with her husband and their three children. Sherri has been writing poetry in honor of Jesus for over 8 years. She is very passionate about Jesus Christ and all that He has done for her and her family. She continuously shares the gospel of Christ and her testimony of His goodness whenever and wherever the opportunity arises. She has been called upon by Community Leaders, and friends to write poems and articles for them. At her local home church she serves as a Deaconess and secretary for the American Baptist Women's group. Sherri also delights in being a former Children's Church Teacher for the primary class.
Mrs. Walker is most thankful to all of you for giving her ministry purpose and fulfillment. But most of all, she wishes to thank the Lord, Jesus Christ for her salvation, her wonderful family and for giving her the only source of Truth that can truly inspire a lifetime service to Christ! She would like everyone to know that tomorrow is not promised and that God, Heaven, and Hell is real. "Today is the day of our salvation", she says, as she quotes the Word. "The hour at hand is drawing near when all this on the earth will be no more and the judgment of God will be upon the earth and no one will escape this judgment other than the born again of God." She wishes everyone to know that Salvation is not something we can obtain on our own as humans and this is why God's Son, Jesus was manifested into flesh for the purpose of making atonement for the sins of man which includes everybody born after the creation of man in the beginning. God is returning to restore everything to its original state, the state in which it was before sin entered the world. If you don't know the one and only true Savior and God, she encourages you to seek Him. The Bible says seek ye first the Kingdom of God and all things will be added unto you. God knows your heart and your every thought and if He sees your desire to know the truth about Him and his Son Jesus, He will reveal it to you. "Don't hesitate or delay. Each second counts", says Mrs. Walker. "Salvation can only be received on this side of life, now, while we still draw breath. It cannot be received afterward." Her prayer is that if you don't know the Lord Jesus Christ, our Savior and God, that you will come to know Him and she prays this according to the will of our Father in Heaven.
