About Faith Harvest Ministries
In the year 1994, The Lord lead John Bascom to back to India. He was 19years old at the time. Later on, he started Faith Harvest Ministries in India in 2002.
Our Vision:
Our heart is to "Reach the Lost" and "serve the Poor". We help make disciples. Our vision is to serve the villages, both remote and interior villages of India. Over one billion people live in India, and more 70% of those people live in villages.
Our Mission:
Our mission is to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with the village of people of India. We want to reach every village. We want to serve the poor. We want to assist these villages with medical aid, emergency relief, caring for orphans, elderly and the widow. We want to use every available resources to serve this purpose.
Areas of Ministry:
Evangelism:- We preach the gospel in open area and on street corners. We distribute tracts, and pray for the sick.
Church Planting:- Our churches are Home cell groups later turn into Individual church building.
We have few villages attend one church at the main
cross roads. We build churches, we help establish people in faith of Lord Jesus Christ and we make disciples.
Movie Ministry:- Movies are very popular in India. Showing a Movie of the life of Jesus in the villages attracts lots of people for a night out. This is a wonderful tool to introduce Jesus to villages.
Gospel Crusades:- We conduct gospel crusades, another way for believers and non-believers to come together. It is an opportunity for non-believers to hear the gospel. We also conduct Believer's and pastor's seminars.
Orphan Care:- We care for homeless, destitute, and orphan children in a loving family environment. Our goal is to develop the "Whole Child" focusing on mental, health, spiritual and emotional needs of each child. God made you special.
Medical Clinic:- Many of India's people struggle with poor medical services. Although some sort of medical services available in most parts of India, people cannot afford it or don't trust it. We provide professional doctors giving "free medical check-up and giving "Free Medicine". Just $300 can provide care for 300 people.
