Prophetic Words for Australia

Catherine Brown: "A Vision for Australia--The Holy Fire of Jesus' love is a catalyst for revival"
"Rend your heart...." Joel 2:13
I was recently taken into several visionary experiences regarding Australia, leading to God's promises of revival for the land downunder which I share below.
A Vision of Compromise
In the first part of the vision, I saw the Lord holding a crystal pear. Jesus lifted it up and it glistened with transparent purity. Holiness emanated like fire from the Lord, and the pear became engulfed in the white hot flames of Jesus' love. He then spoke to me saying:
"My child, My precious child, this pear represents Australia and the Kingdom fruit that she is bringing forth. My holy fire has become a catalyst within her land for the seeds of revival to bud and flourish. I am sending holy fire to judge and to save. I will not allow My Australian bride to be robed in compromise."
As soon as the Spirit spoke the word "compromise," I saw a picture of a huge gathering--a Mardi Gras type of event at which homosexuals and lesbians were congregating in large numbers. They were blatant and crude about their sexuality in the public arena.
I believe the Lord's word with reference to compromise, in part refers to the gay/lesbian Mardi Gras parade that takes place each year in Sydney. The Bible demonstrates that a sexual relationship outside of a monogamous covenant marriage relationship between husband and wife with God, and each other, is a sin and compromises a person's integrity before the Lord (Ephesians 5:31).
Jesus loves all sinners, but as a holy God, He cannot condone sin. In mercy, we cry out to God to deliver those who are caught in homosexuality and lesbianism into the purity and safety of a loving relationship with God. We pray that Australian Christians will be given wisdom and grace to love homosexual and lesbian people into the Kingdom and help them to rebuild their lives on the blueprint Jesus has prepared for each soul. At the same time, we pray for holy boldness and courage to stand up for Jesus' values in the public arena without individuals or groups being labeled as homophobic, religious fundamentalists.
The History of Sydney Mardi Gras
The Sydney Mardi Gras march first began on June 24, 1978 as a protest march and commemoration of the Stonewall Riots. (The Stonewall riots were a series of violent conflicts between New York City police officers and groups of gay and transgender people that began on June 28, 1969, and lasted several days. Also called the Stonewall Rebellion or simply Stonewall, the clash was a watershed for the worldwide gay rights movement.)
Although the organizers for the Sydney Mardi Gras had obtained permission, this was revoked, and the march was broken up by the police. Many of the marchers were arrested. Although most charges were eventually dropped, the Sydney Morning Herald published the names of those arrested in full, leading to many people being ousted by their friends and places of employment, and many of those who were arrested, lost their jobs as homosexuality was a crime in New South Wales until 1982.
The Sydney march is often attended by conservative Christian activists bearing signs with messages such as "Jesus still loves you." A 1999 economic study showed that Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras added AUD9 million (Australian dollars) to the New South Wales economy. Thereafter, the Mardi Gras organization struck financial trouble, nearing a permanent end until an anonymous benefactor arose to provide financial support.
A Joel's Army Vision of Praying Children
After the vision of the Mardi Gras event, the vision changed to a different scene where I witnessed many children around Christ. The children were hugging Jesus, and as He spoke with each one of them, their faces were exquisite with joy. Moments later, the children kneeled down with the Lord to pray, and I saw them becoming part of a "Joel prayer" army that was arising and going in and out from Australia.
I also saw a center for children's training and equipping being raised up. Australia is going to become known in the global arena as a forerunner for the equipping of younger saints. Seeds have already been sown in this regard, but much fruit is about to come forth in the end time harvest.
A Vision of the Aboriginal People
Aboriginals are one of the original or earliest known inhabitants of a country or region, and in the next part of the vision, Jesus was holding an Aboriginal man and woman with much tenderness. He spoke to them saying:
"I am your Father; I am your Brother; I am your Source. Release My people from their oppressions and the fear of what they do not understand."
The aboriginal couple wept tears of healing and received an impartation of the Father's love to fulfill the divine mandate they had received from Jesus. I then saw images of the Sydney Opera House with a message stating that there will be a "cross-cultural, indigenous tribal gathering" of significance held in this place.
A Vision of Coral Reefs and Fish
Suddenly, the imagery switched to the Australian coral reefs. Tragically, I saw the reefs and many types of fish dying at an unprecedented rate. The Lord spoke to my heart and uttered these words:
"My people must pray. I am granting a 10-year window of mercy to avert global climate disaster in the pacific rim." (This would be in the context of the coral reef and fish.)
It is my understanding that warmer sea waters make corals suffer thermal stress, eventually making them bleach and die. Climate change such as increased sea temperatures bleach the coral reefs and as a result, smaller fish which normally feed on the coral, die off. Organisms reliant on coral could become rare or even face extinction.
God's word regarding a 10-year window of mercy, exhorts us to pray for the supernatural aversion of global climate disaster in the pacific rim and for preservation of the coral reef and fish that they support.
A Vision of Heavenly Music and an Open Heaven
The vision ended with a beautiful picture of musical notes coming out of the area of Perth. Their sight and sound was truly Heavenly! I saw angels, a Jacob's ladder, and the lovely worshipping face of Darlene Zschech. Hillsong church is based in Sydney, not Perth. However, this does not detract from the symbolic use of Darlene and Hillsong Church to point us to the interpretation that Jesus is building a platform of praise and worship from which He can release the sound of Heaven.
This last vision speaks of an open Heaven and the promise of a glory visitation to Australia.
We bless Australia in the mighty name of Christ and rejoice in the promises of the Lord's visitation in revival to its land!

The Lord impressed me with a picture of a Large white tent filled with Believers worshipping the Lord along the edge of the ocean. These tents then began to expand starting in Perth Australia, and "grew" in size all along the entire surrounding costal borders of the entire nation of Australia. The sound coming up out of the tents becomes a roar of repentance and intercession. It grew louder and louder as believers were crying out to heaven for protection and for water.
The Lord would speak to Australia and says these words.
"This tent is the hedge of protection I desire to for you to spiritually erect around your costal borders. You will tabernacle with Me in the place of Prayer. Perth has had a passion and flame inspired through unity in prayer and it is now spreading and expanding its tent pegs as I increase your momentum in prayer for your nation and other nations."
Then my head will be exalted above the enemies who surround me; At his tabernacle will I sacrifice with shouts of joy; I will sing and make music to the LORD. Psalm 27:6
"Repent for embracing false gods, eastern religious influences, and relaxed attitudes towards exploited pleasure and sexual freedoms. Return to me Land of the Holy Spirit and I will cause the South winds to blow rain upon your crops, and Rain from Heavens' hands into your places of prayer."
"Come back to me Australia! Come back to simplicity and stalwart integrity. Who has bewitched you into complacent action in purity of heart? Cast off the garment of seduction and put on the garment of praise and begin to violently accost the powers of "spiritual hypnosis" through cleansing your hearts of hidden idols and pleasures. Replace them with grace, self-control, mercy, and loving kindness."
They worshiped their idols,
Which became a snare to them.
Psalm 106:36
Another insight from the Lord that I am to share is His heart towards the farmers in the land. The Lord said to encourage those in the farming communities who are Christians to organized gatherings for prayer and blessing over their land and crops. The Lord calls this "Sowing in Prayer." He in turn will water the seed of heartfelt prayer, expressed in unity and others will be drawn to the amazing results of prayer.
Australia will also have a backlash of pre-meditated Islamic uprisings from hidden irritants now well entrenched in the nation. Believers must now make a decision for either tolerance or truth. Complacency will be addressed by the Lord through young fiery men and women of God who do not fear even death for the sake of the Power of the Cross and Resurrected Savior. A Clash of cultures will bring about a wave of salvation and powerful demonstrations of the Holy Spirit.
Tasmania and New Zealand will have what appears to be in a spiritual sense, "Wildfires lit by the Hand of God." Young people praying day and night alongside elderly humble saints who have prayed for years that God would revisit them in power will experience heavenly refreshing and fresh worship music will be released in these sacrificial gatherings of prayer.
Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, That times of refreshing may come from the Lord. Acts 3:19
Australia! Let the Glory of the Lord Rise Among you! Get up to the Tent of prayer! Stretch your tent pegs until a tent of Prayer hedges in your nation. This is your heritage and richest export says the Spirit of God!

I saw the nation of Australia and it was shining so brightly. The gold anointing and presence of the Holy Spirit was flooding over every part of the nation and encompassing every inch.
I believed that the Lord was saying that the Lord is going to fulfill the promise over the nation of Australia ‘The Great Southland Of The Holy Spirit’. 2006 will be key in this move of God.
The Lord has seen the work of His children within this nation, and is going to release His Spirit in greater ways through a great surrendering that the Lord is bringing upon Australia. The Lord is indeed allowing great trials to shake the nation of all of what it has known before.
There is almost a false peace that is being placed over Australia, that everything is okay. Spiritually, Australia is not in a great place. The Lord indeed in 2006 is wanting to usher forth this prophetic word that was spoken over the nation of Australia being the Great Southland Of The Holy Spirit.
The Lord is calling His churches to surrender the control and the false sense of peace portrayed by the government to Him. A great pride rests on Australia as a nation and the Lord is bringing about a shaking that will indeed break this pride and bring forth opportunity for the word of God to be accepted or rejected in many hearts through a great shaking. A shaking that will bring about questioning of values and life’s purpose for many.
Australia has not faced much shaking, but the Lord is going to allow a shaking to come. I see that the Lord is longing to pour out His Spirit in a greater way over Australia. That it may be a nation that will shine brightly with the Spirit of God. The Lord is building up Australia as a place where many will come to be fueled, trained, and equipped for the Kingdom of God. Many from other nations will journey to Australia and receive an impartation and anointing of the Spirit through this great place.
The Lord is then going to begin releasing many many more from within Australia to go to the nations to minister for Him. Australia will be known as a place of equipping and strength in the Spirit if as a nation, the shaking and release of pride is welcomed.
I also see the Lord is raising up intercessors for the nation of Australia. Many within the nation of Australia, but also many that are in other nations. As these intercessors are faithful to intercede for Australia, the empowerment of His Spirit will be ushered forth in great ways.
I also see many mountains on the nation of Australia and believe that the Lord will be placing Australia on a mountaintop, like a city on a hill, for all the world to see the way the Glory of the Lord rests on this place.
I have also seen that not only in the physical, but in the spiritual, the land is very dry. The land is very dusty, and it’s almost like every part of the land is crying out for water. For rain. So is the spiritual state of Australia. In a sense Australia has settled for only a taste of God’s rain. God is longing to pour out His Spirit in a way over Australia like never before. To bring about an overflow that will be seen by many other nations of the world.
Australia has dangled its toes in the river of God, and the Lord is calling Australia to a deeper level of surrender which will then usher this nation deeply into the river of God in greater ways.
I see a shofar being blown over the nation of Australia. Time for war. Time for the saints of God to rise up and to enter a deeper level of surrender. To take back what the enemy has stolen and be even more committed to the prophetic proclamation of “Australia – The Great Land Of The Holy Spirit”.

GOD'S REDEMPTIVE PURPOSE FOR AUSTRALIA

God says, “I am calling Australia to be a Philadelphia nation, a nation of brotherly love. Where other nations will come and they will look upon this nation and they will say ‘see how they love one another.’ For I’m going to begin to break the iniquity of the tall poppy syndrome. I’m going to cause an ascendency of mate-ship, where one Australian wi! ll look at the other and say, ‘good on ya, I want you to go for it, be a champion, rise to the top.’”
And God says to you, “even as in Flinders field the poppies came up, what had happened in devastation, there was that which flourished.” God says, “I want to cause a flourishing of the nation, a great rising up! The blood of the lamb that was spilled for the nation of Australia. I’m going to cause champions, many champions to rise up; red, yellow, brown, black and white. There will be such a spirit of love and reconciliation with the aboriginal people and the pacific rim people and the people of the nations that I have brought here from the ends of the earth.”
“I desire this nation to be a model, to be a model. Beloved, let us love one another for love is of God, and so I am going to release amongst the pastors, the shepherds, the ministry, the politicians and the Parliament,” says the Lord, “if you will pray, such a love for one another, and even in contention there will be respect. There will be surely a release of my glory and I shall have dominion from sea to sea (Psalm 72). I am coming to bring a great wave of my glory. If my people will pray I will surely turn the evil away and I will release my inheritance in the land. Ask of me the nations for your inheritance. I’m going to send this wave.”
…I see the waves of the ocean, they come in and they go out, this wave of glory will come in, God is going to move on the hearts of people and there will be a wave of harvest. “A wave of harvesters will go into the nations of the earth to bring this modelling of brotherly love, and reconciliation, and the love of God that will turn the hearts of the fathers to children, and the children to the fathers, and begin to wreck the spirit of abandonment, the spirit of rejection, and begin to release into the nations of the earth the father heart of God,” says the Lord.

Here's the word I had for Australia while I was there:
CHRIST: THE SERVANT KING
I was sitting up in bed early in the morning and just thinking about Jesus and how much He loves all the different nations. I thought about how He made all of them unique, and each nation has a unique part of God to make known. Just because the devil has a go at his stuff doesn't mean the call of God is null and void. Of course, the fullness of that demonstration is in the Church, but you can see these different God-traits on the nations themselves.
Well, God began to talk to me about His call on Australia. He said, "Kathie, Australia will rise up and declare and demonstrate to the nations, 'CHRIST: THE SERVANT KING.'"
THE MOVE OF GOD COMING OUT OF AUSTRALIA WILL BE CALLED, "NEW LIFE"
Then tears started to flow down my face (if you know me, you know that I am not a "crying" type of person). I saw a servant's heart -- full of life and joy and serving. Then I saw a crown descend from heaven and it rested upon the servant's heart. Then I saw a mantle which looked like purple and red, deep velvet, and the words "Dignity and Power" were written above the mantle. Then people were running and there was so much joy and POWER.
They ran across Australia and they ran to other nations -- many had green flags which they carried over their shoulders on light poles: NEW LIFE -- a move of God coming out of Australia
It's interesting that when Australia hosted the Olympics, people came from all over Australia to help and serve those visitors from all over the world. Other nations asked them afterwards to show them how to serve and host in the same way.
THE HEAVINESS IS BEING PEELED BACK
I saw New South Wales, and it was covered by a brown blanket. I know that blanket; I've seen it before. It's a spirit of "False Responsibility" -- a religious spirit that makes people try and do what only God can do. Striving and "trying" takes you out of the Spirit realm and into the flesh-- He is a spirit of rest.But I saw angels lifting the corners of the blanket to peel it back. When the heavy religious spirits go, then the LIGHT SHINES AND THE JOY COMES BACK.
North of Coffs Harbor I saw a white mist over the towns. It was a spirit of False Light (New Age, mostly), but I saw three arrows come from the Sydney area and pierce it (Spirit-led intercession).

GOD IS STANDING IN A POSITION OF AUTHORITY ACROSS AUSTRALIA
Jesus came to our nation. He was surrounded by His glory and a host of heavenly beings. He took up position over the nation of Australia as an ever vigilant watchman, guard, protector, deliverer, saviour and ruler. He was manifest as 'The Sovereign Most High God', 'The Omnipotent Captain of the Hosts of Heaven', 'The All Consuming Fire', 'The King of Glory', 'The King of Kings' and the 'Lord of Lords' positioned over us.
He said: “ I have come as the ever present and ever vigilant one, to protect, to guard, to watch over, to deliver and to save.” (Psalm 91), (Romans 10:13). He came with governmental authority as King of Kings and Lord of Lords. He firmly planted His feet over the shores and deep into the bedrock of our coastlands. He is fervently guarding the welfare and destiny of Australia. The Father declared all of the promises of divine protection in Psalm 91 over this nation and our armies and all those called as mighty warriors whether in spiritual combat or physical combat. Though our army is small in number just as Gideon's army was, God is with us and they are mighty and their might and victories come from Him.
GOD IS POSITIONING THOSE IN AUTHORITY ALL ACROSS AUSTRALIA
As I watched God began to visit every part of Australia. He went everywhere there was community, from the largest cities to the smallest towns and settlements and to every home and every person. Everywhere he went he was reordering every position of influence in every place, in every facet of that community.
He was lifting up those who would stand for righteousness and positioning them as vessels of his choosing to establish his authority and influence across the land. He was also resisting all those who would not stand for righteousness. He knew who would stand for him and with him when the time came to choose.
This was a sovereign act of God and was necessary for what is coming to the nation.
What is coming to the nation is unprecedented. This is why he is standing with us. We must make a stand with him and for him.
This is a day of decision. This is a time to choose. This is a time to stand with the Lord, to stand in the Lord and to stand for the Lord.
“…choose for yourselves this day who you will serve…as for me and my household we will serve the Lord’

Australia was proclaimed the “Southern land of the Holy Spirit” by Pedro Ferdinand de Quiros on the Day of Pentecost, 14th May, 1606. In the year 2006, Australia will complete four hundred years after this proclamation. Like unto the four hundred years of incubation that Abraham and his descendants had before they rose out of Egypt and became a nation (Gen 15:13-14), the church in Australia will arise into their fullness four hundred years after this proclamation. There will be also a going forth with great possessions as Australia takes its place in between the shift of the centre of gravity of world influence from USA to Europe. The Holy Spirit will work in marvellous ways and the word of God will prevail mightily. Working together with the church in Asia, the church in Australia will move forth in sending forth fivefold ministries throughout the world in a great and final wave of revival before the end time finale in the work of God in Europe and Israel.

Australia will emerge as one of the most strategically important nations in the world over the next two decades. It will be one of the leading nations in the newer world that is about to emerge. Australia will begin to fulfill its original name, “the great South Land of the Holy Spirit.” The people of Australia will have a special love for the Holy Spirit and they will know Him and His works. As they do this, the Holy Spirit will move upon the desert interior of the nation, beginning to make it fertile and fruitful. This will be a sign that the heart of Australia is being changed.
Australia has been given the opportunity to become one of the great “new” nations in the world. It will be different from the European model, the American model, or the Asian model. Australian independence is a gift from God. This has and will be abused by some, but it must be maintained. Australia must be willing to set its own course in politics, economics, and faith.
There is a revolution coming to the whole church and much of this will be driven by Christian education. Australia is called to be a leader in this. There are great churches in Australia, but even so, Christian schools in Australia are accomplishing more for the coming purposes of the Lord than the churches are at this time. However, neither the schools nor the churches have yet perceived the spiritual revolution that they are called to lead, and both are still far from their full purpose. There will be a revolution without rebellion, but a revolution of purpose.
Just as it took Australia a long time to realize its own calling to be a separate nation, it is taking the church in Australia a long time to understand its own unique calling in the Lord. However, the coming spiritual revolution in Australia will come and it will begin to radically transform not only the church life of the Christians in Australia, but transform the nation into a fresh breeze for other nations.
The Lord has put the adventure spirit in the heart of Australia. Australians will mobilize for a noble cause like few other people on the earth. Much of this devotion is the Australian attraction to adventure. The Lord put this in the Australian heart for the purpose of mobilizing one of the great missionary forces in history. In the coming years, Australian missionaries will be found close to the great spiritual advances in almost every country.
This attraction to adventure, which is in the heart of Australians, will be the key factor to mobilizing and motivating the youth of Australia. As the youth in many nations will be drawn to the increasing anointing coming on worship, the arts, and the power gifts of the Spirit, Australian youth will be drawn far more to the adventure of foreign missions.
Australia will not lose its youth to missions—it will lose its youth if they are not given to missions. The churches and ministries that have the strongest missions will begin to draw the next generation and arise as the great lights in the nation. However, the youth must be trained, equipped, and engaged in the good fight. They will not settle for just being spiritual tourists. They are warriors and the ones who will take new territory for the kingdom.
For all of the great cities of Australia and the nation as a whole, missions will be the key to the future. All that are given to missions will return abundantly multiplied because a generation will arise that will use the blessings for the right reasons. Seek the “great grace of God,” that which is by and through His Holy Spirit. Then seek to carry the grace of God to those in need. You will then have all of your needs met and will not be in danger.
I saw Perth becoming like a staging base for a great invasion. International ministries started to gather there and others were raised up from among the churches already there. Then a steady stream of ships began leaving for Africa, with an occasional ship turning north toward Asia.
As ships often represent leader-ship, I felt that these represented many leaders being sent to Africa and some to Asia. Some of these ships were troop ships and some were cargo ships. The troop ships were foot soldiers and I knew they represented missionaries going to Africa in great numbers and also to Asia, but in lesser numbers.
NOTE: The cargo ships that I saw were mostly carrying energy in the form of fuel oil, gasoline, and natural gas. I felt strongly that this was both natural and spiritual, but I want to address the natural first. Australia has been blessed with great energy resources that it will learn to distribute wisely, not just for profit, but to nations that will use it wisely. Powerful nations will try to intimidate Australia into selling them their energy resources, but Australia must resist such pressure. These resources are a gift to help developing nations. These nations will become a much bigger blessing to Australia in the long run than the powerful ones such as China who will only increase their intimidation once they see that it works.
In the vision when I saw these troop and cargo ships arrive at the ports, they linked up. Then the troops formed convoys for carrying the energy into the countries. Everywhere they went the lights would come on in villages. I felt these represented churches that were being birthed from the people and resources coming from Western Australia.
There is a great spiritual window of opportunity opening for Perth. If the churches in Perth will unify, the Lord will put Perth on the world map of the church and use it to gather one of the great harvests for the last days, especially in Africa. Perth has been somewhat isolated for a reason. This is a blessing and a protection from the Lord.
Sydney is already a beautiful and remarkable world-class city. If it humbles itself, and will turn to the morality and integrity of the Lord, it will become one of the most powerful business centers of the world. Great companies that will arise in Australia will be based in Sydney and many others will move their headquarters there. Then Sydney will become the gateway city of the South Pacific and a major door to Southern Asia.
There are many true worshipers in Sydney and their worship is touching the Father in a special way. They are getting heaven’s attention. For this reason some of the great prayer ministries will also be raised up in Sydney that will give birth to powerful spiritual change throughout the region and make the way of the Australian missionaries victorious. Through them Sydney can become a city of power that stands with the great and influential cities of the earth.

I have watched with a focused and unrelenting eye as you have grown and have matured into a nation with a unique voice.a unique sound. A sound now being heard as a blast of warning saying... God's Favour on Australia
You may not be aware that on October 31, 1917, 800 Australian Light Horseman defeated the Turks that had been in control of The Wells of Beersheba for 400 years. 50,000 British and Allied troops had failed and were running out of water when The Australian Commander requested that they have a go.
In one hour in failing light against artillery guns, machine guns, 4500 entrenched infantry, and bombing from the air 800 men rode across 6km's of open desert on horses that had not drunk any water for between 48 to 70 hours. The Turkish army were defeated and this was the gateway into Jerusalem. Many crusades had been fought against the Turks in the previous four centuries including Alexander The Great but nobody had been able to defeat the Turkish entrenched position at Beersheba.
Australia spilt the blood of its sons on Jewish soil in 1917 and overran the enemy and gave back the land to its rightful owners. We honoured the covenant that Abraham had at Beersheba. This opened the way for General Allenby to lead Allied Troops into Jerusalem. We blessed Israel by giving back that which was rightfully theirs. We were instrumental in restoring the nation of Israel. We were the first nation to overrun Jewish land to give it back to them rather than keep it for our own gain like all the other previous invaders. In Tel Aviv there is a monument to our Light Horsemen. God is bound by His Word. "I will bless those that bless Israel".
God's Favour on Australia
Australia this is your hour of blessing. You are now entering a time of My favour on your nation. The youngest nation in the world (we were 16 years of age) blessed the oldest nation in the world and now I declare it is time for my blessing to come upon you. I am releasing My Spirit through your land in an unprecedented way. I am doing a new thing. You have been my hidden warriors and now I am bringing you forth to battle again. I am giving you a new authority in the heavenly realm. It is time to rise up and fight once more. I have reserved a special grace for you in this hour. I am going to move in such a way that the eyes of the world will be upon you. Many will come to see for themselves what I am doing.
The signs and wonders that I do through My Spirit will amaze the world. I ordained you for this destiny, this birthright. Every aspect of your nation will be permanently changed. The blood of your soldiers in Israel has been heard and in this season I am answering their cry. You will do great exploits again that will shape the destiny of nations. This time those exploits will be in the spiritual realm. I am giving you an ability to take enemy ground very quickly. The enemy is already afraid of what you are doing and panic and confusion is starting to set in as your anointed prayer warriors arise for battle.
Prayer warriors from Australia will fight over Jerusalem in the heavens and prevail with astonishing results. Many will come to join you but you have been chosen to lead the way with strategic strikes against the enemy. This is a time to stand and wait for your orders. Prepare yourself for battle. Your advance troops have already been in action for some time but I have kept it hidden. Indeed I am blessing you because you blessed Israel. Hi I tend to be cautious about prophecies but this has a ring of truth to it. Even if it is wide of the mark I thought it would be a good thing for as many of us as possible to be praying for our nation, on the eve of the election. In Him Paul Arnott.

THIS IS A TIME OF SHIFTING.
The choices that are made in the next three months will affect the next five years dramatically. God wants a coming together of His plans.
BUT.... Satan has a plan too. Satan is not omnipotent or omnipresent but he's not stupid and he's a student of history. Satan is trying to snatch this nation from the hand of God NOW -trying to raise up people in the style of Hitler, trying to raise up his government.
If we do not pray, it will shift to Islam and there will be great persecution of Christians in this land. There is a great passivity in the soul of the Church. Freedoms are lost through passivity. As legislations change, freedoms are lost.
WHAT GOD SHOWED CINDY JACOBS ABOUT AUSTRALIA: GOD'S PLAN FOR AUSTRALIA
1. Australia is going to be a first fruits nation, an apostolic nation - a sending out nation
2. God is releasing the Anzac Light Horseman anointing, especially upon the young people to take down the strongholds, and the Joshua anointing (great courage, determination, persistence ) to take the land.
3. Australia will send out the greatest number of missionaries per capita.
4. Australia will be a nation that will help transform other nations (because despite what others have said Australia is not an "ugly ducking" but a "swan" nation).
5. Evangelism. The various ethnic groups in Australia are not here by chance but by God's appointment. They will go back to their own countries with the Word of God to evangelise. This is especially so of the Asian people. Many Australians will go too.
6. Australia will release much wealth to the nations. God is raising up "apostles to business" for this nation. The super rich will be born again. God is going to use the giving of this nation and the structure of "apostles to business" as a model for others.
7. Australia has a specific anointing as a reconciling nation.
8. Australia will be a nation walking in holiness. The holiness movement is going to hit this land - purity, righteousness, set apart for God. This is especially going to hit the young people. A counter revolution of holiness and a counter culture.
9. We are a merry heart nation with a great sense of humor and able to laugh at ourselves.
10. A great healing of the Vietnam Veterans is coming, and a healing of the soul of this nation concerning Vietnam.
11. Prayer and healing rooms will be opened across this nation.
12. There will be 24 hour churches - prayer chapels at churches, universities and schools. This will start to shift things in the heavenlies, the lost will get saved 2.00/3.00am in the morning.
ABOUT THE COMING ELECTION

Cindy Jacobs said that this election was a pivotal point and would begin to make a shift in the heavenlies towards righteousness, but it would only be accomplished through continuous prayer and fasting, STARTING IMMEDIATELY.
Every day there must be a fast in the land.
If we do not fast and pray the shift in the heavenlies would be for evil, a very great darkness. Islam would rise. Legislation in Parliament would change. Great persecution of Christians would occur. Riots and gang fighting would rise.
Australia is at the beginning of this.
Racism - the frustration would give way to anger which would result in great violence.
CRY OUT TO GOD FOR THIS LAND AND SEE THE DEFEAT OF ALL GOD'S ENEMIES, FOR THE DEFEAT OF SATAN'S PLAN and FOR GOD'S PLAN TO COME TO FRUITION.
Cindy also said that the spirit of apathy was very, very great m Australia- She-had never felt it like this anywhere else. The apathy that says that if it doesn't affect me directly, I won't worry about it. You will wake up one way or another. Fight as if it is your child.
Once a word has been spoken by the prophet, it is deemed by God to have been heard so I believe we must get this warning out and call our people to prayer.
Dutch Sheets said last year at the Apostolic, Prophetic Conference that when God sent a prophet to prophesy over the nation, people, city in the Old Testament, the prophet would stand somewhere, maybe in several places, and prophesy. It did not mean that everyone heard the prophecy first hand; however it was considered done. The word God had spoken through the prophet, was then carried by others and spread.
Cindy Jacobs, a world recognised prophet, said the following at the conference last week.
She gave examples of North Korea hot bed of Christianity, with some of the largest churches - they were warned of coming communism. Some left, some went to the South, and to the North. They did little and over night became communist. Jews in Germany were warned by prophets of what was about to happen in Germany, but too comfortable in life, business, and wealth. They did not heed the warning - 6 million died.
Cindy explained how she was asked by the pastors of Denver, Colorado to ask the Lord for a word for the city. She went there on 1 " April 1999. She delivered the Lord's word that said, among other things, that if the churches did not come together and prey, they would pay for the godlessness in their cities. The word was start PRAYER NOW, 24 HRS PRAYER for every city in Denver Colorado.
They heard the word, did not dispute or rebuke the word. but did not act upon the word.
On 20" April - 19 days later, two young men started to shoot students at Colombine High School Christian young people specifically were targeted in that violence. If those pastors had come together, united, and prayed, would that have happened?
Cindy was also asked to go to Phoenix Arizona to give the Lord's word for the city. She saw in the spirit 3 city malls where violence was about to break out. She saw men with machine guns and explosives. Those churches surrounded those malls with 1000 prayers. All three shooters, machine guns and explosive devices at the malls were found. No one was hurt. The Pastors obeyed the Word of the Lord.
Young people, will you fight for this nation? Cindy spoke about the 40,000 young people who went to Washington DC prior to the US elections. They fasted for 40 days, 6.00am to 6.00pm and cried out for their nation. When it rained, they stayed there in the mud, kneeling, or face down. They had a passion for God and to see their nation turn.

Look and see, My church in Australia. Do you not perceive it?. Do you not see the cracks in the hardness of the heart of your nation and the mercy pouring forth? Do you not see the tears I have brought forth in this hard-hearted place? Do you not see that I have broken the very heart of this nation?
For this is Australia' s time - this is the time I am calling you forth as a nation and to a maturity and a coming of age, Australia. For I have seen your longing, I have seen your stretching forth, I have seen your awakening to maturity, to adulthood, and I say to you that NOW, this is your time. Understand it has been I, who has restrained and held back those that you would traditionally turn to for support and to undergird you, that I might test your heart. And understand it has been I, the Lord, that has said "No, it is your time to stand and to come forth and to take up the responsibilities of adulthood."
And I have seen the tears and the willingness of this nation to stand in the gap, and I have seen a response in the heart of the people to the oppressed and to the downtrodden, as I have called this nation to an intercession and to be a bridge of mercy across the waters.
For I say to you Australia, that even though you are a nation that has known oppression, and you are a nation that was born in captivity, and you are a nation that has known cruelty and hardship, YET I HAVE PLANTED REDEMPTION WITHIN YOUR SOIL! It is because you have known what it is to be cast off and downtrodden that you shall have compassion and mercy on the oppressed, and you shall be carriers of redemption . For what the enemy meant for evil and for destruction, I have turned for good in these days, and I have called forth the heart of mercy and compassion in your midst. Are not the tears you have shed like the very streams in the desert I have promised to bring forth?
No more shall your nation walk in the chains of captivity, the chains of the past! And look, I have given you a sign. Just as you have seen the captives return from their captivity in these last weeks and the birth of a child*, so I declare that NO MORE SHALL YOUR NATION WALK UNDER THE SHADOW OF CAPTIVITY! I declare freedom and a breaking of the chains of the past over this nation, and I declare freedom over this next generation. For the child that has been born represents a generation that will not know a culture of captivity as the fathers have known captivity! I am calling forth a generation that shall throw off the chains of captivity and shall walk in freedom and liberation and justice.
And even as I have called to the nation, AS IT IS IN THE NATURAL, SO SHALL IT BE IN THE SPIRITUAL. And I call the church NOW! . This is a call to arms, just as I called the nation to arms. Quickly I did it, quickly! So shall I call the church to arms. - Quickly now! I call the church to arms, I call the church to mercy, I call the church to take up the fight, I call the church to stand in the gap, I call the church to intercession. I call the church to be liberators!
And just as I have declared and proclaimed and I have said "This nation shall now go forth as releasers of peace and enforcers of justice", will you not also rise My church? Will you not stop your busy-ness? Will you not stop, listen and perceive with your eyes what I am saying in your own nation? Will you not perceive and see what I do, and see what I say to you at this time, and know the season of your visitation? Will you not hear the alarm that I am sending forth, will you not now rise up and say it is OUR time, it is OUR coming of age, it is time for US to stand in the gap, to hear the cry of the oppressed and to respond? Will you not perceive it? Will you not open your eyes to the urgency of the hour?
For I have broken the heart of your hard hearted nation, will you not allow Me now to break the heart of My hard-hearted church? Hear Me now, My church, hear Me now - this IS the time of your visitation, this IS the time for you to respond, this IS your call to arms. Will you take it up?
So let Me break your heart, as I have broken the heart of the nation, let Me break the heart of My church, for in this you will find your freedom and in this you will find your healing.
