Finland, Seeing is Believing!

For days now, God is stirring me to rise up in the night season and to declare His word over this nation that I love - Finland. In His presence, I have wondered what He is saying and sought His heart for this nation and this people for this hour, this moment. Suddenly I saw a vision of many Finns coming to the Lord as He waited on them with outstretched hands. They first approached Him with great hesitation, unable to fully believe that the depths of His love would be unconditional and accepting of them. Then, as they got close, He simply, in silence, grasped them and hugged them tight as His blood ran over them from the top of their head to the bottom of their feet.
I then received this verse:
John 20:24-29 Now Thomas, called the Twin, one of the twelve, was not with them when Jesus came. 25 The other disciples therefore said to him, "We have seen the Lord." So he said to them, "Unless I see in His hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and put my hand into His side, I will not believe." 26 And after eight days His disciples were again inside, and Thomas with them. Jesus came, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, "Peace to you!" 27 Then He said to Thomas, "Reach your finger here, and look at My hands; and reach your hand here, and put it into My side. Do not be unbelieving, but believing." 28 And Thomas answered and said to Him, "My Lord and my God!" 29 Jesus said to him, "Thomas, because you have seen Me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed." NKJV
I then heard God speak this to Finland: "Reach into the revelation of the reality of the cross, Finland. Not what you have imagined it to be but in the reality of its finished work.
Reach into this pure revelation to banish doubt, unbelief and despair in your lives. Reach into Me - Look at My hands pierced for you!
Reach your hand here and put it into My side. Do be unbelieving but
believing. The blood still speaks and flows over you bringing you into the reality of what is yours IN ME. "
As Thomas, many, as they embraced the Lord, were taken back by the revelation of His unconditional acceptance for them. It has been there all along yet how many Finns have not looked beyond their present circumstances or depression or oppression to run to Him and not from Him.
As Thomas did, when faced with the reality of who Jesus really is, they exclaim, "My Lord and My God!"
The Lord says to this nation:
"The finite man with a finite mind will never comprehend the mysteries that are hidden in ME. But you must come to Me as little children and I will reveal to you the mysteries of My kingdom. For the days ahead are dark indeed, but I have called My church in this nation, in this hour, to shine with a My brilliance and My luster.
Reach into Me! Put your hands into My side! Look at my hands pierced for you! These is no greater love than this!"

A call to the young eagles, whether you are 6 or 60.
God desires Finland and its people to soar into the heights with Him - to see and then to know Him.
For it is only by rising up that we are able to SEE past our limited perspective with clear vision. God desires with a holy passion to not only address the limitations in the nations but also to bring solutions to pull people up and forth into their destiny. For this is a NOW time over Finland and the young eagles must arise to SEE their God and to KNOW His plans and strategies for their lives. Young eagles arise!
While seeing this vision granted to me by the Lord, I saw these eagles soaring into the heights of God's presence over the nation of Finland. I realized this is God's desire. Yet the reality is somewhat different! The young eagles in Finland have had their wings clipped. In other words, they are earthbound when they should be soaring.
An eagle is destined to soar high in the skies, looking with a heavenly perspective onto the earth. For does not the Word in Ephesians tell us that we are seated in heavenly places. So, in effect, our launching pad to soar should be the very throne of God.
Eagles are not meant to live in valleys but the skies are their domain. So it is in the natural and so it is in the spiritual.
The young eagles in Finland are meant to see the prophetic promises of God open up to this generation called into greatness! Their destiny hidden in King Jesus! In soaring, they see the splendor and greatness of their God and are not bound by earthly concerns or circumstances for they are soaring in spiritual reality. In this place of soaring, they see that each one is created to be free in the liberty of Holy Spirit.
As they soar with their God, they climb higher by an updraft of wind. This wind is one that comes under their wings to help them ascend with very little effort into greater heights with their God. What takes them higher in the Spirit? A revelation of the greatness of their God and His love for each of them and His desire for them to truly be free. Free from religion, free from any tradition thaat brings death, and free from the law of sin and death.
While soaring, they are overwhelmed by His greatness and His goodness.
1 John 3:1-2
Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. 2 Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. NKJV
Romans 11:33-36
33 Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and His ways past finding out!
34 "For who has known the mind of the LORD?
Or who has become His counselor?"
35'Or who has first given to Him
And it shall be repaid to him?"
36 For of Him and through Him and to Him are all things, to whom be glory forever. Amen. NKJV
Herein lies spiritual reality - to believe God through the reality of Jesus Christ in the power of Holy Spirit. You are called to be radical, obedient lovers of Jesus Christ. That is what you were created for. You are not called to be tethered to the mediocrity of religion but destined for greatness in your relationship with your Lord for the advancement of His kingdom.
So if the young eagles in Finland are to soar, what has clipped their wings? (By the way, there are many future young eagles not yet saved with tatoos, earrings, nose rings, and every such marking that God has indeed destined for greatness...........)
The young eagles' wings have been clipped by the law of sin and death which is contrary to the law of the Spirit which is freedom and life.
Romans 8:1-3
There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. 2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. NKJV
Many young people in Finland and in all the nations, will not even come into a church for there is death in many places where there should be life in Christ Jesus. I am not, of course, addressing all churches for God always has a radical remnant in every nation. In religion there is death and in relationship and intimacy there is freedom and life.
John 6:63-64
63 It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life. NKJV
Romans 8:2
2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. NKJV
Read the following passages clearly:
2 Corinthians 3:17-18
17 Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. 18 But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord. NKJV
Where there is law there is no room for Holy Spirit to move in freedom. The young eagles will never stretch their wings to fly. Instead they will leave to find life, apart from Christ - in drugs, in sex, in alcohol, in music.............................Yet they are created to dance, sing and soar with our Lord.Jesus, by His Spirit, promises you life and life abundantly, not apathy, boredom and mediocrity.
When the Spirit is given full control, free from the fear of man, there is liberty and freedom. Full control means releasing yourself to God in full measure - looking into the face of perfect liberty and destiny to go from glory to glory. In this atmosphere there is change and transformation!
So what is the solution for our job is to root up, pluck up with truth and then to build and leave hope...........
Jeremiah 1:10
"Behold, I have put My words in your mouth.
10 See, I have this day set you over the nations and over the kingdoms,
To root out and to pull down,
To destroy and to throw down,
To build and to plant." NKJV
Young eagles, run into the arms of the lover of your soul.........Jesus Christ! Let Him heal and restore each of you, bringing you out of the bondage of captivity into the freedom of your promises in Christ Jesus. No one knows you better than He does.
Isaiah 43:1-4
But now, thus says the LORD, who created you, O Jacob,
And He who formed you, O Israel:
"Fear not, for I have redeemed you;
I have called you by your name;
You are Mine.
2 When you pass through the waters, I will be with you;
And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you.
When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned,
Nor shall the flame scorch you.
3 For I am the LORD your God,
The Holy One of Israel, your Savior;
I gave Egypt for your ransom,
Ethiopia and Seba in your place.

Ask Him to open your eyes to see Him and to know Him!
Ephesians 1:17-18
17 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, 18 the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints,

Forsake the ways of being complacent and pursure Him in all righteousness and holiness!
Pursure the way of life, not a way of death.
Learn to hear His voice.......this is your inheritance in Him according to John 10:16.
Spend time in His presence and it is from this place that you will hear Him and be set free and made whole to become a mouthpiece to a lost genteration and a nation at hand!
Forsake all compromise to walk in the clear light of His presence..............do not let the world or even religion's grip hold you down. Be free in Christ Jesus by the power of His Spirit which dwells within you!

NOW! Finland
The Lord gave me some thoughts to speak to this glorious nation. I kept hearing ONE WORD resonate in my spirit the whole month that I was in Finland.
NOW!
It is NOW time for Finland to arise and take its place in God's endtime harvest.
That is a great word to preach but who is going to stand up to this mandate so that freedom and liberty may come to this great nation? God is looking and His eyes are searching to and fro for ordinary people to step out to do extraordinary things for God.
God is looking for the Finnish people to build their nation from within and to stand up and be counted among God's army in these end times.
I kept being directed to the story of David and Goliath in 1 Samuel 17. Here was an ordinary man, chosen to be king, anointed to be extraordinary for God. We all know the story too well but perhaps we know it so well, that we fail to see that God is talking about US, about YOU and about ME.
At this time, this word is directed toward Finland. The Spirit of God hovers over this nation waiting for a people to arise who will walk in their God given destiny and purpose, growing up into the full stature and measure of Christ, putting the past behind, letting God out of the box, and being doers of the Word and not only hearers of the Word.
Goliath had been taunting the armies of God with his great strength and his fame as a champion of the Philistine army. Specifically, He challenges them with these words:
1 Sam 17:7-11
8 Then he stood and cried out to the armies of Israel, and said to them, "Why have you come out to line up for battle? Am I not a Philistine, and you the servants of Saul? Choose a man for yourselves, and let him come down to me. 9 If he is able to fight with me and kill me, then we will be your servants. But if I prevail against him and kill him, then you shall be our servants and serve us." 10 And the Philistine said, "I defy the armies of Israel this day; give me a man, that we may fight together." 11 When Saul and all Israel heard these words of the Philistine, they were dismayed and greatly afraid.

The situation looked hopeless and the armies with Saul were greatly afraid...............but, along comes David. And in this great nation of Finland, God is indeed looking again for the Davidic order to arise......men and women with a heart sold out for God, ready to undertake the impossible NOW for their God. People who will look past their own personal fears and failures to embrace all that God wants to do rather than listen to what others say is impossible. What is impossible to man is ALWAYS POSSIBLE TO GOD.
David, with eyes of faith and not fear, looks at the situation and says this:
1 Sam 17:26
26 Then David spoke to the men who stood by him, saying, "What shall be done for the man who kills this Philistine and takes away the reproach from Israel? For who is this uncircumcised Philistine, that he should defy the armies of the living God?"

Immediately, David is harassed by his elder brother, Eliab, but continues to ignore what is seen in the natural and again speaks these words:
1 Sam 17:28-29
28 Now Eliab his oldest brother heard when he spoke to the men; and Eliab's anger was aroused against David, and he said, "Why did you come down here? And with whom have you left those few sheep in the wilderness? I know your pride and the insolence of your heart, for you have come down to see the battle."
29 And David said, "What have I done now? Is there not a cause?"

Where are the David's in the nation of Finland that are willing to look beyond fear and see with the eyes of faith into the realm of the supernatural and the impossible and see with the eyes of God - His destiny, His purpose and His plan for the nation of Finland. I know that there are many Godly men and women who are undertaking great exploits for God in this nation and are paying a heavy price to step out for their Lord.......but God is wanting to raise up many others in the remnant at this time to step out and be counted.
Just like David, you are unable to wear Saul's armor as we see in 1 Samuel 17:39, for that armor won't fit. Saul represents the religious system who functions under form and structure but is unwilling to seek fellowship, relationship and true intimacy with God. They know a lot about God, but don't really KNOW God. This armor simply won't fit David. It can't fit David for David is a man after God's own heart and David won't be boxed in by a religious system that indeed keeps God in a box.
The David's, both men and women, must arise in this nation to wholeheartedly pursue and follow the Lord, no matter what the cost. They are being called out of dead tradition to LIFE IN CHRIST JESUS, wholehearted abandonment and passion to love the Lord Jesus with their whole being. In their hearts beats a desire, strong and firm......................Is there not a cause? Does not someone want to step out of complacency and apathy to live life and to live it abundantly in Christ Jesus?
Shed the armor that belongs to Saul because it does not fit you. Shed all old beliefs and traditions that lead you to a shallow knowledge of Jesus and step out of the boat and launch out into the deep into astounding revelation of your Lord. Let God lead us out of the past, out of previous struggles and into the great unknown. No one ever said it would be easy but God is so looking for someone to step out of the box and to step into the miraculous and into the supernatural.....forsaking all reputation, all honor, and all need for affirmation to follow Him.
Will it be easy? NO
Will it be worth it? YES
NOW is the time and now is the hour..............................

And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed. 12 The night is far spent, the day is at hand. FINLAND
"There is coming a great awakening in the nation of Finland."
God began to show me a vision of a high mountain. Upon this mountain stood an old rugged cross, austere and serene upon the heights, which are covered in ice and snow. Suddenly, I saw the Lord Jesus ascend the heights, take the cross, and remove it from its place on this high mountain. In the place where the old rugged cross was, He alone now stood, with arms outstretched wide to encompass this nation with His everlasting love, mercy, and grace, fulfilling the law which has held this nation bound in religion and tradition which has usurped His desire for relationship and intimacy.
As He stood, high and lifted up in resurrection power, the reality of a living Savior flowed through this nation, and suddenly the ice and snow began to melt under His feet, revealing the brilliance of green grass. The snow formed rivers of living water melting, going down the mountain, overflowing into cities and towns where pastors in Bethlehem type churches were waiting for a revelation of a living Savior and Lord to touch their nation. These 'houses of bread' all across the nation, tucked away and hidden are filled with a remnant of people tired of religion and tradition, wanting the reality of their Lord.
This awakening of the love of Jesus Christ will flow through this nation raising up a generation of revolutionary reformers. They will shake the nation with a revelation of God's grace similar to the shaking that occurred with Martin Luther's revelation that the just shall live by faith. His grace and the divine fire of love and intimacy will triumph over law and legalism. Finland shall be awakened to show forth the glory of the Lord in the coming days. The generations shall unite to show forth this glory. A nation of kings and priest, holy unto their God, mighty in intercession and evangelism, shall arise and be catapulted onto the stage of world events that is coming in these last days.
God has established a covenant love for this nation in our hearts and we thank the Lord for all that He accomplished there by His Spirit. Our sincere thanks to Elina Saarinen for organizing the meetings at Riseyspaikka and Kerava. She is more than a friend to Marvin and I but a covenant sister filled with the love of God, moving in a strong anointing by the Holy Spirit. The leaders in both churches were filled with the grace and love of the Lord and we look forward to our return trip in October to proclaim God's prophetic destiny over this nation. Thank you so very much to Pastors Seppo, Kari, Kim, Eivor, and Tei (please forgive me for wrong spelling, I am learning!) Thanks go out deeply to each worship team that allowed the Spirit of God to flow through times of prophetic worship and intimacy with our Lord!
There is a strong spirit of defeat over the land and deep in the people's hearts. This defeat results in burn-out and weariness on the part of all involved. God has called this nation to rise above the defeat by entering into a season of prophetic proclamation in times of intercession and worship. Words have formed the spiritual atmosphere over this nation - words of condemnation, guilt, defeat, fear and much more where the enemy is trying to keep people bound from walking in the freedom and liberty of a pure relationship with Jesus Christ. Now words of life must come forth to open the heavens and set the captives free! Sing the word, pray the word, proclaim the word, speak the word! The Living Word of God! Finland must walk in the inheritance and the identity that is theirs in Christ Jesus, showing forth His glory through a people unique and special in God's eyes.
There is a Corporate Sound that God desires to launch forth from this land - a sound of glory that will fill the heavens and release the captives so that this nation can take its proper place and positioning among the nations of the earth for an end time global harvest. As we preached, prophesied, and moved by the Holy Spirit in times of prophetic worship, we kept hearing the sound of running water, deep and free, the very current of God. I kept hearing these words arise within me: Behold! Arise! Ascend! Justice!
The time is Now! Rise up out of the chains that have held you bound into the glory of a living King! Leave the past behind, walking by faith into a new season of opportunity and Kingdom power! Reach out by faith to take what is already yours! Walk in love, true humility, forgiveness, passion and fire! The time is Now!
