Five Ways God Uses Problems
~ By Francis A. (Frank) Lopez © 2003 ~

The problems you face will either defeat you or develop you, depending on how you respond to them. Unfortunately, most people fail to see how God wants to use problems for good in their lives. They react foolishly and resent their problems rather than pausing to consider what benefit they might bring. Here are five ways God wants to use the problems in your life:

1. God uses problems to DIRECT you. Sometimes God must light a fire under you to get you moving.
Problems often point us in a new direction and motivate us to change. Is God trying to get your attention? "Sometimes it takes a painful situation to make us change our ways."
Proverbs 20:30

2. God uses problems to INSPECT you. People are like tea bags...if you want to know what's inside them, just drop them into hot ever water! Has God tested your faith with a problem? What do problems reveal about you? "When you have many kinds of troubles, you should be full of joy, because you know that these troubles test your faith, and this will give you patience."
James 1:2-3

3. God uses problems to CORRECT you. Some lessons we learn only through pain and failure. It's
likely that as a child, your parents told you not to touch a hot stove. But you probably learned by being burned. Sometimes we only learn the value of, money, a relationship... by losing it. "It was the best thing that could have happened to me, for it taught me to pay attention to your laws."
Psalm 119:71-72

4. God uses problems to PROTECT you. A problem can be a blessing in disguise if it prevents you from
being harmed by something more serious. Last year a friend was fired for refusing to do something unethical that his boss had asked him to do. His unemployment was a problem, but it saved him from being convicted and sent to prison a year later when management's actions were eventually discovered.
"You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good.
Genesis 50:20

5. God uses problems to PERFECT you. Problems, when responded to correctly, are character builders. God is far more interested in your character than your comfort. Your relationship to God and your character are the only two things you're going to take with you into eternity. "We can rejoice when we run into problems... they help us learn to be patient. And patience develops strength of character in us and helps us trust God more each time we use it until finally our hope and faith are strong and steady." Romans 5:3-4

Here's the point:
God is at work in your life - even when you do not recognize it or understand it. But it's much easier and profitable when you cooperate with Him. "Success can be measured not only in achievements, but in lessons learned, lives touched and moments shared along the way."

A Dead Church
~ By Francis A. (Frank) Lopez © 2004 ~

A new Pastor in a small Oklahoma town spent the
first four days making personal visits to each of the members, inviting them to come to his first services. The following Sabbath the church was all but empty. Accordingly, the Pastor placed a notice in the local newspapers, stating that, because the church was dead, it was everyone's duty to give it a decent Christian burial. The funeral would be held the following Sabbath afternoon, the notice said. Morbidly curious, a large crowd turned out for the "funeral." In front of the pulpit, they saw a closed coffin, smothered in flowers. After the Pastor delivered the eulogy, he opened the coffin and invited his congregation to come forward and pay their final respects to their dead church. Filled with curiosity as to what would represent the corpse of a "dead church," all the people eagerly lined up to look in the coffin. Each "mourner" peeped into the coffin then quickly turned away with a guilty, sheepish look.

In the coffin, tilted at the correct angle, was a large mirror!

~ A Fiction Story From True Events
~ Written By Francis A. (Frank) Lopez © 2005 ~

It was a cold and rainy day and I really did not want to go out just for milk, but the look on Jenny’s face and the faces of those three boys of mine, who always seemed to be hungry, was enough to convince me to go to the market, because I had spilled the milk earlier. The boys are Mathew 17, Mark 16, Luke 14 & of course, John 13. Jenny is my new bride of one year. Since my first wife had left us for another man 12 years ago, right after John was born, it had been such a roller coaster of spiritual, emotional and financial stress. But, God had truly blessed me with a new wife, who could not have any children of her own and her and my sons hit it off great right from the start. She is truly a natural “mommy”. It was with Jenny’s strong encouragement and spiritual faith, that I took the chance and started my own family style restaurant. It took a lot of long hours and hard work, but my family helped and now, I am president of my own chain of fine, successful restaurants. I count my blessings every day and night.

As I pulled out of my driveway and through the rain, I could see their faces pressed up against the windowpanes and waving. Even in the chill that still lingered in the car, I felt a warmth come over me and said a little prayer thanking Jesus for where he had brought me from those many years ago, to where I am now. My mind was wandering back to those days of struggling and lonely nights when Jesus had spoken to my heart and assured me that if I remained faithful and not give in to Satan’s lies and distractions, that he was going to bless me so that my cup would be running over. He recounted the story of Job as an example. I sure am glad that I put all my trust and faith in him through those tough times. Oh Yes, God has truly blessed me with a great family and financial security. Now come the tears of gratitude, because Jesus had kept his word to me and now I recall the song, “I’m drinking From My Saucer, Because My Cup Is Overflowing”, for real, just like my Lord Jesus promised me. The tears are really flowing now and I am anticipating what his promise of eternity with him is going to be like.

As I reach up to wipe my eyes, I suddenly see that there is a car stopped right on the curve of the road and as I start to swerve to avoid hitting it and the figure standing alongside of the car, I remember that I over shot the curve and went through the guard rail and tumbling down the ravine and being strapped in with the seat belt, could not jump clear in time. Next thing I know, I am waking up in a room that is so white, it hurts my eyes and as I close my eyes and rub them and open them again, I am in an elevator of some kind, which is also white. I remember thinking, “where am I?” As the doors open, a man with a nicely trimmed beard and dressed in a white robe with a gold sash around his waist and gold sandals, motions for me to follow him. We walk silently at first, on what I perceived to be a cloud of wispy mist and he disappears when we get to a beautiful river. As I look up to the other side, I see many people on the other side, also dressed in white robes and they are waving to me. The feeling that overcame me is so hard to explain, but I will try. I felt such peace, peace as I have never known before and then I saw him, not to clearly, but I knew it was him. I saw Jesus appear in front of the multitude, of what I could see plainly now, were actually angels.

I started to cry the tears of such great joy, as I reached out with open arms and called out to him, “Jesus, Jesus my Lord” and I started to step onto the water to go to him and realized that I was not sinking. I heard his voice as he put his hand up as to stop me, and he said to me, “My son, you must not cross over. It is not your time yet and you must go back to your family.” I know that he put his peace in my heart at that point, because I had started to cry and said to him, “But Lord, I want to come and be with you”. I could see that he too had a tear rolling down his cheek as he told me that I had much more work to do for him on earth and if I would be strong in my faith, there would be even greater rewards when he would finally call me home and we would cross the river together into his father house. I waved back to him and promised him I would obey him and trust him in all things.

I found myself in an operating room and I was hovering above the doctors and nurses and I saw myself laying there and then I heard the doctor saying, “Hit him one more time”, then “Wham”, I felt the surge of electricity as I was pulled quickly into my body again. I opened my eyes and let out a gasp for air and a shout of pain then passed out. I was back. I do remember dreaming that I was on top of a mountain and talking with Jesus as he gave me his instructions on what I was to do for him and the father for my heavenly father’s glory and his kingdom. I still remember all we talked about and what he expected of me and the peace and joy I had listening to him. Today, I still hear his soft, still voice of encouragement.

I awoke in a private hospital room and had all sorts of tubes and gadgets attached to me. The nurse, who was checking my tubes, jumped what seemed like a mile and screamed when I reached for her arm and told her, “Jesus Loves You”. She looked familiar. A week later, I had the privilege of praying the “Sinner’s Prayer” with that same nurse who accepted Jesus into her heart, in my room, after I had her read to me some scriptures and we talked a few times. Now get this, it was her who was broke down on the curve that night and ..... she was my first wife and God gave me the privilege to show her the love and forgiveness that only comes from Jesus. You see, I had been in a coma for three months and she was not expecting to hear me, much less have me grab her like that. “Whoa!” what a set of lungs she had, as she called out for a doctor. I then spotted Jenny and the kids running into the room, but held back by the nurse until the doctor was finished with me.

Later, when everyone had checked me out and asked me so many questions, the doctor explained that they almost pulled the plug on me because of no brain activity. “What? No brain activity?” I said. ….. “Why, I was alive all along and on the mountain top talking to my Lord Jesus” and at that point, I saw tears come to the doctor’s eyes as he said,” I believe you. There is no other place you could have been and come back so mentally intact”.
God had put me in a Christian doctor’s care. As my family was allowed to smother me with hugs, kisses and happy tears, then the unexpected happened. My doctor came over by my bedside, smiled a beautiful smile, he took my hand and he softly said, “I am happy to finally meet you, Jeremiah Proffitt…… My name is doctor John Baptista. Welcome back.”

Faith (Believing) and Claiming The Holy Spirit Power
~ By Francis A, (Frank) Lopez ~
~ © Tuesday, February 22, 2005 ~

Jesus said in the Gospel of Mathew, 21:21& 22;
"Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, if ye have faith, and doubt not,ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done. And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive." Now, was Jesus speaking hypothetically? The answer is NO. Many theological preachers and teachers will tell you yes. This waters down the power of God's Holy Spirit in your lives.
Read Mathew, 8:5-13 and see if you have that kind of faith in Jesus. The centurion did, and he was a roman (a gentile).
In the Gospel of John, 14: 12-14 Jesus said, "Verily, verily I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do, because I go unto my Father. And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the son. If ye shall ask anything in my name, I will do it."
Can you even imagine the awesomeness of being able to heal people ... even at a great distance, just by commanding it to be so. There is your Power & your Responsibility before God. But there are conditions for "Spiritual Power" as Jesus stated in the Gospel of Mathew, 17:14-21 & Mark, 9:28-29
Through Prayer & Fasting
Now, what is holding you back from doing these same miracles that Jesus did? Are you turning "Lukewarm" on Jesus? Have you doubts? Not only do you have an obligation to God, you have an obligation to Jesus also, if you are claiming to have him in your heart and the Lord & Master of your life, to claim the Power of God's Holy Spirit through Prayer & Fasting, then, and only then, will you be able to move mountains (literally), heal the sick and cast out demons. The business of casting out demons and devils is not for one with doubts, but of great faith, through fasting and prayer. There are those who will make excuses of all sorts. But the bottom line is this, how strongly do you want to serve Jesus while in this life? It all comes down to ... "Believing."

God said to Jeremiah in chapter 1, vs 4 & 5:
"Before I formed thee in the belly, I knew thee. and before thou camest forth out of the womb, I sanctified thee and ordained thee a prophet unto the nations."
You have a "Pre-ordained Purpose" and a great commission to fulfill before you are called home. Jesus said, "Go ye and preach the Gospel of Salvation to all the people."

Now I understand why Jesus said,
"Many are called, but few are chosen"

I love you in Jesus and I pray for you daily.

Faith or Failure
~ Written By Frank 4 Jesus, © 3/31/05 ~

My message is a simple one that Jesus wants you to read & hear.
Jesus said the same thing in different ways several times in the 4 Gospels, yet too many fail to see, hear or understand what Jesus plainly said. Even his own disciples had a hard time to embrace the power of God in their own walk and works with Jesus. Many today are distracted by everyday events and are failing Jesus, because they are into the world and worldly things and not putting God first in all things. You may be one of the many who ask, “Why am I failing in my spiritual life?”. Do not be so naive, you already know why.

Let me not be the one to answer this for you, but I will let the words of Jesus himself tell it to you again. Below are just two examples of how Jesus answers you ……

And when they were come to the multitude, there came to him a certain man, kneeling down to him, and saying, Lord, have mercy unto my son; for he is a lunatic, and sore vexed; for ofttimes falleth into the fire and offttimes he falleth into the water, and when I brought him to your disciples, they could not cure him. Then Jesus answered and said, O Faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I suffer you? Bring him hither to me. And Jesus rebuked the devil; and he parted out of him: and the child was cured from that very hour. Then came the disciples to Jesus apart, and said, why could not we cast him out? And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: For verily I say unto you, if ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you. Mathew 17:9-20

Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If you have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; It shall be done. And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive. Mathew 21: 21-22

You fail because you have doubt in your heart and mind.
You fail in your spiritual life because you are not putting God first in all things as well. Remember, you cannot serve two masters.

You need to ask Jesus to forgive you and start putting God first in all things.
You need to ask Jesus for his power to believe without doubt.

With Jesus returning soon, sooner than most may think or believe, you had better not be into the worldly things and you better be going about your Father’s business so that when
You hear the sound of the shofar, you will not be as the world, which will fear and cry and try to hide upon the magnificent appearance of Jesus, coming in all his glory with his angels. It will be too late then. And, what will be worse is that when God’s judgment day comes, even these words here will be played back to you and that you had ignored his warnings throughout the years. Turn back to Jesus and do not turn your back on him. Do not settle for some “Watered down” religion or a lukewarm house of worship. God said that he would “Spew” you out and cast you into the eternal lake of fire.

You may not like the messengers, but the message is still the same. You need to make a firm decision for Jesus and serve only him for the time you have left in this life until Jesus comes back for us. Well, I hope you will make the right choice and soon.

With The Love of Jesus In Me, I Hope To Meet You In The Air Soon.

Come Holy Spirit

Come, Holy Spirit and speak to my heart
dwell richly within me as this new day starts
Help me to see through the eyes of my Lord
so I can withstand all the sin in this world
Teach me compassion for my fellow man
and if I should stumble, help me to stand
Help me to love when it's easy to hate
when fear overcomes me, strengthen my faith
When I lack understanding, speak wisdom to me
if pride should creep in, bring me down on my knees
When I need some direction, please point out the way
and take full control of all that I say
Come, Holy Spirit live Christ's life through me
help me to honor His name faithfully
I've made my choice, I have counted the cost
come guide me again as I take up my cross

What Do YOU Believe?
~ Written By Francis A. (Frank) Lopez, December 27, 2003 © ~

I want to share this experience and what God’s Holy Spirit has shown me this morning. After I got done with the “Prayer Page”, I went on “Paltalk” and was drawn to a room at the top of the page, that had the most number of people and the poorest use of the English language I have seen in a long time, entitled …
“Why Does Some Prayers Never Get Answered?”

The count column showed 25 people in the room. To tell you the truth, I wasn’t really sure why I was drawn to it or why I stayed there for almost thirty minutes, listening to all the chaos and rhetorical comments of each speaker and of those typing in their beliefs or comments. It gave me the feeling that I was taken to the “Tower of Babel”, where no one understood each other or the main question. It did sound like a lot of “babbling” and, even though some were making good points and using the scriptures in a good way to prove their points, they were not “LISTENING” to each other. To make matters worse, they did not and would not, stop, reprimand or red dot the “Unbelievers, Scoffers and Trouble-makers” which added to the confusion. My first thought was, “Whoa, what is going on here?” and then I asked my lord, “Lord, why am I here?” and God said “Watch and Listen”. What I also noticed was that the people that were typing, were using the largest lettering and boldest colors they could. I noticed on guy go from regular black letters to the largest red colored letters that can be used to repeat his same message and the gal who had been speaking on the microphone, all of a sudden started talking louder and louder, almost as if she were trying to get her point across to someone in the back of a church. I mean she showed signs of frustration. So, why did they stay there?

I had to leave because I started getting an uneasy feeling that I knew this was not of God. This room was in total chaos and no one had taken control of it. That was three hour ago and I just checked, they are still there, now with 40 people in the room, according to the “count” column. As I went back to bed and was talking to the lord, he said, “Get up and write what you saw and heard and I will guide you with the rest”. Well, here I am, in obedience to my father in heaven. Do you see the real message here?
Actually, there is more than one message that our lord wants you to know.

First, do you really listen to people whom you are witnessing to or trying to lead to Jesus? (Or is it your ego talking to hear your own voice and sounding as “Tinkling Brass”?)
Second, do you call upon others when it looks like you are about to lose them? (All egos and no teamwork)
Third, are you grounded in “Written Word of God”, as you witness to someone? (Be prepared at all times)
E.G.O. = Easing God Out.
Be prepared at all times, work as a team and seek “God’s Will”. God gave us two ears and only one mouth, maybe he wanted us to ..........

You should know, because of the recent signs of these last days and the scriptures, that the time when Jesus will come back is very soon, and could be today, but only God knows when he will send Jesus. Do not get taken by surprise, doing what you are not suppose to be doing or being somewhere you do not belong or holding on to grudges, clinging to anything or anyone so dear that you will be held back from rising to meet the Lord in the air because of that anchor. That’s right, those are all anchors! Get your affairs in order as if you were going to die. Go back to those believing or unbelieving, brothers, sisters, neighbors, bosses or co-workers which you have offended or injured in word or deed and at least make a real attempt to make things right.
If you do not, you will be held accountable for them on God’s great judgment day ……… Revelation 5:1-4

Judgment Call
~ By Francis A. (Frank) Lopez © 1978 ~

A story is told about a soldier who was finally coming home
after having fought in Vietnam. He called his parents from
San Francisco. "Mom and Dad, I'm coming home, but I've got
a favor to ask. I have a friend I'd like to bring with me."
"Sure," they replied, "we'd love to meet him."
"There's something you should know the son continued, "he
was hurt pretty badly in the fighting. He stepped on a land
mine and lost an arm and a leg. He has nowhere else to go,
and I want him to come live with us."
"I'm sorry to hear that, son. Maybe we can help him find
somewhere to live."
"No, Mom and Dad, I want him to live with us."
"Son," said the father, "you don't know what you're asking.
Someone with such a handicap would be a terrible burden on
us. We have our own lives to live, and we can't let
something like this interfere with our lives. I think you
should just come home and forget about this guy. He'll find
a way to live on his own." At that point, the son hung up the phone. The parents heard nothing more from him. A few days later, however, they received a call from the San
Francisco police. Their son had died after falling from a building, they were told. The police believed it was suicide. The grief-stricken parents flew to San Francisco and were taken to the city morgue to identify the body of their son. They recognized him, but to their horror they also discovered something they didn't know, their son
had only one arm and one leg. The parents in this story are like many of us. We find it easy to love those who are good-looking or fun to have around, but we don't like
people who inconvenience us or make us feel uncomfortable. We would rather stay away from people who aren't as healthy, beautiful, or smart as we are. Thankfully, there's someone who won't treat us that way. Someone who loves us with an unconditional love that welcomes us into the
forever family, regardless of how messed up we are.

Tonight, before you tuck yourself in for the night, say a
little prayer that God will give you the strength you need
to accept people as they are, and to help us all be more
understanding of those who are different from us!!!

You Are Where God Wants You To Be
~ Written By Francis A. (Frank) Lopez © 2000 ~

Next time your morning seems to be going wrong and the kids are slow getting dressed and you can't seem to find the car keys and you hit every traffic light, don't get mad or frustrated; praise God instead, because God is at work watching over you. After Sept. 11th, I happened to call a man on business that I didn't know and haven't nor will probably ever talk to again. But on this particular day, he felt like talking. He was the head of security for a company that had invited the remaining members of another company who had been decimated by the attack on the Twin Towers to share their office space. With his voice full of awe he told me stories of why these people were alive and their counterparts no longer were. In the end, all the stories were just about the little things that happen to us. You might know, the head of the company got in late that day because his son started kindergarten. Another fellow was alive because it was his turn to bring donuts. There were other stories that I hope and pray will someday be gathered and put in a book. The one that struck me was the man who put on a new pair of shoes that morning, took the various means to get to work but before he got there, he developed a blister on his foot. He stopped at a drugstore to buy a Band-Aid. That is why he is alive today. Now, when I am stuck in traffic, miss an elevator, turn back to answer a ringing telephone ...all the little things that annoy me ...I think to myself, this is exactly where God wants me to be at this very moment.

May God continue to bless you with all those annoying little things.

The power and authority of the Lord Jesus Christ
~ Written By Francis A. (Frank) Lopez © 1977 ~

The power and authority of the Lord Jesus Christ is extended to all those who believe and trust in His Name. The Lord Jesus declares in Luke 10:19 "Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you." We have been given authority over the devil and all his evil devices and must make a conscious effort to stand in our ability through Christ.
There are many Bible believing Christians who do not take hold of their authority when the enemy comes with his temptations, but rather they get discouraged and forget of the power that stands ready behind them.
We have been given a weapon that is promised to defeat even the greatest adversary and that weapon is the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
(Matthew 16:19) (John 10:10-11)
At the mention of His name all devils must bow and surrender their attacks. The Bible declares in Philippians 2:10-11 "That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." In Him is power, beauty and glory that is unsurpassed. His authority is to be made manifest through our lives so that all may know whom we belong to.
(Hebrews 2:14-15) (Ephesians 6:10-18)
I hope you are encouraged and strengthened by today's message to take hold of your authority as a believer and know that you do have power over all the principalities of the enemy. Be encouraged and know that you are a mighty warrior through Christ. The same power that Jesus displayed throughout His life is promised to all those who trust in Him. The Lord Jesus says in John 14:12, "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father."
Let God's word resonate within your spirit and realize who you are because of the Lord Jesus Christ. Stand in your authority and know that God is proudest when we realize who we are because of the sacrifice of His beloved Son.
1 Timothy 6:16-18, 1 Peter 4:11, Revelation 1:6-8

Read and meditate on these scriptures:

"Wherefore God also hath highly exalted Him, and given Him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."
Philippians 2:9-11
"To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God, According to the eternal purpose which He purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord: In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of Him. Wherefore I desire that ye faint not at my tribulations for you, which is your glory."
Ephesians 3:10-13
Jesus says, "And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven."
Matthew 16:19
"Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole Armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places."
Ephesians 6:10-12

All of these scriptures can be found in the King James Version Bible.

The Price of A Soul
~ Written By Francis A. (Frank) Lopez © 1976 ~

Several years ago a preacher moved to Houston, Texas.
Some weeks after he arrived, he had occasion to ride the bus from his home to the downtown area. When he sat down, he discovered that the driver had accidentally given him a quarter too much change. As he considered what to do, he thought to himself, you better give the quarter back. It would be wrong to keep it. Then he thought, "Oh, forget it, it's only a quarter. Who would worry about this little amount? Anyway the bus company already gets too much fare; they will never miss it. Accept it as a gift from God and keep quiet." When his stop came, he paused momentarily at the door, and then he handed the quarter to the driver and said, "Here, you gave me too much change." The driver with a smile, replied, "Aren't you the new preacher in town? I have been thinking lately about going to worship somewhere. I just wanted to see what you would do if I gave you too much change." When my friend stepped off the bus, he literally grabbed the nearest light pole, and held on, and said, "O God my father, I almost sold your Son for a quarter."

Our lives are the only Bible some people will ever read. Live it righteously.

The Rogers are devout Christians who have built a strong family. The father has a special interest in the spiritual condition of each of his children and often would quiz them in order to know if they were sure of their salvation. Occasionally he would ask them to share in their own words about their relationship with Jesus Christ. One day it was seven-year-old Jimmy's turn to express how he knew he had Eternal Life. Jimmy told his version: "I think it will be something like this in Heaven. One day when we all get to go to Heaven, it will be time for the big angel to read from the big book the names of all the people who will be there. He will come to the Rogers family and say,'Daddy Rogers?' and Daddy will say, 'HERE!' Then the angelwill call out, 'Mommy Rogers?' and Mommy will say 'Here!' Then the angel will come down to call out Susie Rogers and Mavis Rogers, and they will both say, 'HERE!'" He paused, took a big deep breath and continued. "And finally that big angel will read my name, 'Jimmy Rogers,' and because I'm little and maybe he'll miss me, I'll jump and shout real loud, 'HERE!' to make sure he knows I'm there." Just a few days later there was a tragic accident. A car struck down little Jimmy Rogers as he made his way to catch the school bus. He was rushed by ambulance to the hospital, and all the family was summoned. He was in critical condition. The little family group gathered around the bed in which little Jimmy now lay with no movement, no consciousness and no hope
for recovery. The doctors had done all that was in there
power. Jimmy would probably be gone by morning. The family
prayed and waited. Late in the night the little boy seemed
to be stirring a bit. They all moved closer. They saw his lips move; just one word was all he uttered before he passed from this life. But what a word of comfort and hope for a grieving family he was to leave behind. In the clear voice of a little boy, loud and clear enough so all could hear and understand, little Jimmy Rogers said the one word ..... "HERE!" And then he was gone to another life beyond this world, where a big angel was reading the names …… of all those written there.

It was Friday morning, February 13, 2004 and the time was 7:32:am (Alaska time of course), when all of a sudden …. “Praise God”, I received a big “Wake-up Call” from my father in heaven. This happened while talking to Sue on AIM about having a Praise & Worship service for “Shut-Ins with a message or sermon by me, and how she should advertise it. It was while typing in to Sue my idea of how to advertise it, when God “TURN ON HIS LIGHT IN MY HEAD”…. “Bingo” …. I had his message for tonight, gently moving through my mind and in my heart as well. I told her…. “I GOT IT”. Then I shared the topic headline for my message with Sue and we said “Later and Love ya and all that mushy stuff that we say to each other on Ims. I then started praying about it and asked god’s holy spirit to give me the words to say. His message to me was very clear and it was this………… “Tell it like it happened”, so I am. But that is not the topic or should say, “Main Message”, which is,

It does not matter how he comes. Weather he comes in the sky with all his glory, as we are all hoping, waiting and watching for him, or, if he ends your life on earth by his own design. Maybe you will go peacefully to sleep at night or taking an afternoon nap and just stop breathing, or have a stroke, a heart attack, an unknown aneurysm breaks, a car or airplane crash or take a tumble down the stairs and break your neck or a prolonged illness etc. Will it matter how you die? Are you ready to die? If you died tonight, will you be “sent away” by Jesus because you would not own up to your sins before you died? ……… “WHAT SINS???” you might say? Oooooooooh PLEASE … don’t get naive about your sins.God knows what you have been up to and what you have been thinking and feeling towards others. Just because you can hide your true feelings about your family, your neighbor, your mechanic or other service persons… such as that little snot of a gal at the “checkout counter”, who gave you a hard time or embarrassed you publicly or, some motorist cut you off … how dare they! even someone on the internet …… OR,It might even be someone in this very room or on the Ministry. By now, you should know better than to think that you can hide anything from God, who knows all your comings and goings and more importantly …… he knows what’s really in your heart! So, where will you be at ….. doing and thinking what? k, here is where it gets down to some hard hitting … “EXPOSING SINS”

As we get into some of these “SINS”, you are going to get angry. Remember my brothers and sisters, NEVER get angry at the messenger or even God who gave the message to begin with and, for that fact, anyone else…

In other words, don’t kill the messenger, just deal with the message and let God’s Holy Spirit speak to you … if in fact … he IS speaking to you directly & personally … RIGHT NOW. We are going to do this in scenarios and starting with one of the most wretched sins of all.

Scenario Number One: DECIETFULNESS

How long and how often have you heard that “Satan Is The Father of All Liars? Yet, you continue to justify those “little white lies” or the stretching of some truths and sometimes … all for a good cause, For “The greater good” is what a politician would say, when they want to get their own way. A lie is a lie is a lie. No matter how anyone tries to justify their lie or lies, it is still sin before God ... Period! I believe with all my heart that trust of another human being is earned and I for one would not trust someone again, if I found that they had lied or had been lying to me and would not own up to it when confronted. I will forgive them, but would not trust them for a very long time if ever. While I am talking about forgiveness, God said that we must forgive each other 70 x 7 each day. I have yet to read where he said to trust those people again. It is your choice. Just remember this, if you lie, you do not have Jesus in you, because Jesus is not capable of lying.

I now read to you from the Gospel of John, Chapter 14, verse 6 where it says, “Jesus saith unto him (Thomas), I am the way, the truth and the life: no man cometh unto the father but by me.”

Scenario Number Two: LUST

Maybe, and I stress maybe, you are a single or even married person who likes to hang around one of the local “Skating Rinks” or gymnastic practices … let’s say on each Saturday (or Sunday, after church service of course). Then, seeing some of those so called “Cute and Athletic” young girls or even boys starts your imagination going in the WRONG direction and instead of seeing it as one of Satan’s tricks to trip you up with God, you allow your self to fantasize about what you and they COULD do for and to each other sexually. Why, isn’t that why you were there anyway? You knew that you had this sinful nature all along and you always justify it in your mind as just maybe “Appreciate” their athletic abilities. At least that is what you tell others. Deep down inside you know this is wrong and you struggle with it and ask God to help you get rid of it …. But even that is half-hearted, because … you turn around and do it again next weekend and again you fantasize. The biggest danger is, one day you may act on those fantasies for real. Or are you addicted to what this internet calls … “Cyber Sex” or just plain porn, regardless of weather it is child porn or adult porn. Lust is the worst of sins. Where will it stop? Is this your secret sin? Will you die with it in your hearts? I read now to you from the Gospel of Mathew, Chapter 5, Verse 26-27 where Jesus said,
“Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery; but I say unto you, that whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.”
This of course is not limited to males lusting after females, neither of any specific ages. It includes all people of all ages … presumably after puberty.

Scenario Number Three: MALACE / HATRED / REVENGE

Malice is another word for “Spite or Revenge”. It is spiritual death. Emotions are spiritual in nature and either guided or provoked by your mind, or what you perceive in your mind. Writing, saying or doing hateful things to or about someone that you do not like, trust or has done any physical, mental, emotional, financial, material or spiritual harm to you, is called malicious or spiteful because it is the nature of revenge, getting back at or getting even with someone. This not only morally wrong, it is legally wrong in just about all states in this country and in some other countries.

If you are going to get right with God tonight, then listen closely to the following scripture:
I now read to you from the Gospel of Luke, chapter 18, verses 1-14
Listen closely, for these are the words and wisdom of Jesus. One of the greatest mysteries of life on earth is the question….
“What Did Jesus Write In The Sand”,
when he was with Mary Magdalene the prostitute?
You do now, as Jesus commanded Mary to do that day ………

May The Love, Grace and Mercy of Our Lord Jesus Be Upon You Always.
I remember Daddy's hands, folded silently in prayer
and reaching out to hold me, when I had a nightmare
You could read quite a story, in the calluses and lines
years of work and worry, had left their mark behind
I remember Daddy's hands, How they held my Mama tight
and patted my back for something I'd done right
There are things I've forgotten that I loved about that man
but I'll always remember the love In Daddy's hands
Daddy's hands were soft and kind when I was crying
Daddy's hands weren't always gentle
But I've come to understand
there was always love In Daddy's hands
I remember Daddy's hands, working till they bled
sacrificed unselfishly, just to keep us all fed
If I could do things over, I'd live my life again
and never take for granted, the love in Daddy's hands

God Sent Me
For A Reason, A Season or A Lifetime By Francis/ TYJ, 1973 ©

GOD sent me for a REASON. When you had prayed for a need to be met. He heard you and led me into your life, to provide you with whatever spiritual, emotional, physical and financial support and guidance was necessary to meet your need and to ensure that your prayer was answered. You may say that I was a “GOD-SENT”, you are right, I was. Now I must leave you. It was nothing you said or did or maybe I died. You must now move on and realize that it was not I, but GOD who answered your prayer. He just chose to send me. “Thank You Jesus”.

GOD sent me for a SEASON. Now it is GOD’S “Will” for you to grow in his grace. Now it is your turn to share, grow and learn. Maybe, I have been sent here to make you laugh or bring you new experiences. Possibly it is that special something you have not done or felt before. I may even bring you great joy. Whatever it is, believe it, because it is real, but it is only for a season. Please, do not thank me. Praise GOD. He just allowed me to be a part of your life just for a season. This new experience is “GOD’S WILL for YOU”. He just chose to send me. “Thank You My Jesus”.

GOD has sent me to you for a LIFETIME. I may be you mate, your friend or even a business partner. Whatever or whomever I am, I am here according to “GOD’S WILL” to share with you how to develop lifetime relationships. Lifetime relationships teach you lifetime lessons that you must build on, in order for you to develop a solid emotional and spiritual life. You are responsible to accept these lessons and to love me as a person and to apply what you have learned in all other relationships in your life. If you do these things, you also will become a “CHANNEL of GOD’S LOVE”. Just remember to stay humble, share GOD’S blessings and love all people that GOD sends into your life, unconditionally. That person could very well be me. These three messages have been “GOD’S WILL” for YOU and ME. “To GOD be the glory, AMEN”.
