Pray for our customers - That lives will be changed by the Holy Spirit.
Pray for those who work in B/A - Pam, David & our volunteers, Carol, & June. In Darlington, Sue, Maureen,Peter, & for Thelma, who after many years of faithful service, has decided to retire. In Middlesbrough, John, Matthew, Peg & Les, & new to the team, Elizabeth. Pray for wisdom in running the shops& for the finances.
Pray for other Christian Bookshops you know.
In this recession, Christian shops are going to find it very difficult to survive, so please support your local one in prayer, and by buying from them. We worked it out once, that if every Christian in a town bought all their Cards from their Christian shop, then the average Christian shops turnover would more than double, & this excludes Bibles Books Music & Gifts. Just think of all the cards you send, without God's Word on them. Are you ashamed of the Gospel & Jesus? Or do you think God is a liar when He says "My Word shall not return to me void" We have heard it said, I do not want to offend them! Well we want to see people saved, & if sending a card with Scripture on offends people into Heaven, then Praise God!!
Pray for our grown up Children -
Julia who is a Youth Worker, for a Methodist Circuit, nr Manchester, she is engaged to Matt, who is also a Youth Worker for the Methodist Church, based in Hull. Lydia,(Husband Chris) a Children's Nurse,but now childminding & Mum to Anna age 6 & Lucy born Oct 06. Ruth (Husband Michael) have also had a girl, Jenny born Nov 06. Paul is struggling with his Autism & Dyspraxia & severe learning difficulties. He is in a Residential Home. Please pray for all our family, Prayer works!!.
