Celebrating Evan
![]() When he came into the world, we were so full of joy. We beheld our "Young Warrior" through smiles & tears For we awaited his arrival for three long years. Raised as an only child, until age seven God sent him a little sister down from Heaven. He loved sister, Caitlin, but her patience he would try His experiments with her dolls & such Would sometimes make her cry. Things meant very little; his joy was in sharing, He gave what he had with true love and caring. If he didn't have enough to pass on to others, With a smile he would gladly give Mom’s, Dad’s or Brother’s... He joked and told stories and, with no remorse, He would stretch the truth, only a little, of course. He lived his life fully, with gusto and glee Our fears for his well being he never could see. If I know my son, he'd do it all again, He was a spirited boy, an unrestrained young man. With many loving memories to gladden our days, Evan's spirit lives within us, his many unique ways. To those left behind, he sent a shooting star A sign of rebirth and love from Heaven afar. He gave us the gift of sharing his life & love, He'll stay in our hearts til we see him above. *********************************************************** Evan loved...his family...hanging out with his friends ...hunting & fishing...the outdoors...camping..music..sleeping late.. Evan lived a joyously unrestrained life and he made every second count! It was easy to get caught up in his enthusiasm for life and his humor. He knew the value of a smile. These are the memories I will forever cherish. Evan taught me so much about the truly important things in life... Evan’s Mama, Jane ![]() |
