What's Going On!
I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 2001 a few months after Gerrit was born. It was at the time the most difficult thing I had ever faced, and I had faced a few terrible things along the way! But the Lord gave me strength and He spoke to me through family and friend and even a stranger or two. He made me strong for the journey ahead!
Last year, I was diagnosed with a lesion on brain that isn't an MS thing. So we wait and watch and see how it will present itself in the next MRI. People ask me if I'm afraid and all I can think is, I am part of God's perfect plan.God doesn't make mistakes!
Now last summer, my strong handsome husband John had a heart attack! That is something I wasn't prepared for, not mentally and not spiritually. I was ok with this stuff happening to me but now God is allowing this to happen to the person I love more then myself! I think that I assumed God and I had an agreement, He could use me anyway He saw fit but my family must remain untouched. Apparently God didn't get my memo? I know that something so incredible will come from even this, because as I look back at my path of despair, I see stepping stones. They were heavy and hard to deal with when I was there, but as I moved through these things with the Lord, I could see that He was using the pain in my life to create a path for others! So please don't let them go to waste. Come back from time to time. Leave a prayer, buy the book, if you can. Or just say hello. God bless and thank you for joining me in my journey!
