Fundamental Truths
|
The Bible is the inspired, infallible and Authoritative Word of God.
(b)
There is one God, eternally existent in three persons:
FATHER, SON and the HOLY SPIRIT.
(c)
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father,and in His personal future return.
(d)
The only means of our being cleansed from sin is through repentance, and faith in the precious blood of Christ, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely necessary for personal salvation.
(e)
The redemptive work of Christ on the Cross provides healing for the human body, in answer to beleiving prayer.
(f)
The Bible teaches a life of holiness without which no man shall see the Lord. Entire sanctification is the will of God for all Beleivers and should earnestly be pursued by walking in obedience to God's Word.
(g)
The Baptism of the Holy Spirit, according to Acts 2:4 is granted to Beleivers who ask for it. It is through the present indwelling of the Holy Spirit that the Christian is able to live a godly life.
(h)
The Odinances of the Church are the Communion of the Lord's Supper, and Baptism in Water by single immersion in the Name of the Father, and the Son and the Holy Ghost.
(i)
The resurrection of those who have fallen asleep in Christ, and their translation together with thoses who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord, is the imminent and blessed hope of the Church.
