I started a project with the ladies in our ministry. We started by making ribbons to commemorate events in our country; Breast cancer Month, 16 days of activism against women and children; World Aids Day. These were sold to companies, this was to add to the ladies earnings as domestic workers are amongst the least paid employees in our country. We ahave other projects in the pipeline. Woud like o correspond with other women. The companies we supply wanted us to have a name. God gave the name Women of Virtue, this is before I knew that there was this wonderful organisation for women elsewhere in the world. I am Aritha, a disabled single mother of three who is in a little financial trouble. I became unemployed in October and since my state, RI, is having a huge rise in unemployment rates, I have not been able to get another job. There aren’t any jobs! I have bipolar disorder and have only been able to work medial jobs in the past so my unemployment benefit, which will run out in 1 week, is only $32! We survive off of my $380 monthly disability and we are beeing threatened by the utility companies that if we do NOT get our bill caught up and paid in the next 20 days they are shutting us off on the 21st day. Please I know there are good hearted people in this world who are willing to help and i just pray that you are one of them, I sure hope so. Praise the Lord saints of God i have a testimony that i would like to share with you.well last friday i had to go to VCU here in Virgina to get a heart catherzation to see if i had any blockage in my heart because the stress test came back adnormal so my DR. insisted that i went to VCU hospital up in richmond but PRAISE THE LORD no blockages were found cause i,am just 33yrs.old and have a nine year old daughter so i thank the saints of God for praying for me because i said right there in the hospital and gave my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ praise .but he was concerned about my blood pressure but i know who to stripes upon there back that i will be healed. thank you all so much and many blessings to you and your family pastor miriam .
