What is HFJ Ministries
|
Harvest For Jesus Ministries is currently located in a southern city in the state of Alabama. Huntsville, AL is near Interstate 65 about 100 miles south of Chattanooga, TN.
Harvest For Jesus Ministries is dedicated to help Christians grow stronger in their Christian faith, dedicated to sharing God's Holy Word in practical everyday applications. Anointed teachers, musicians, and preachers share their love for JESUS and share His love with you to uplift and encourage you along your journey down the highways.
Harvest For Jesus Ministries is dedicated to sharing the wonder, joy, and goodness of knowing God. There is a wholesomeness and a cleanliness to living as a Christian that we believe God's Holy Spirit will use this to draw the unsaved to Salvation.
YOU'LL HAVE TO COME VISIT ME SOMEDAY IN HEAVEN - IN MY LOG CABIN. COME SIT ON THE PORCH, VISIT AND WE WILL PLAY MUSIC AND SING PRAISES TO OUR LORD AND SAVIOUR FOREVER!
FREE highway gospel tapes are distributed throughout the United States, Great Britian and Canada by Christian Truck Drivers and volunteers.

These Gospel Trucker Tapes are covered with prayers for a bountiful harvest. "FOR GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD THAT HE GAVE HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON, THAT WHOSOEVER BELIEVETH IN HIM SHALL NOT PERISH BUT HAVE EVERLASTING LIFE." John 3:16
THE STORY BEHIND HARVEST FOR JESUS MINISTRIES PRESIDENT/FOUNDER, GLORIA INGLE ... I was born in a naval hospital in Portsmouth, VA. My Dad at the time was in the Navy, my Mom worked at Dupont in Baltimore, Maryland. At the age of nine I realized that I both needed and wanted to ask JESUS to come into my heart. I wanted to become a Christian. I walked down the isle one Sunday morning at a Baptist church in Jackson, Ohio. The following Sunday I was baptized. I have never regretted my Salvation. Although no longer here on this earth, I want to give tribute to my Momma, Mary Fisher, who not only taught me about God's love, but showed me by example. It was at Tennessee Temple University in Chattanooga, TN that God spoke to me in an audible voice saying, "Gloria...Gloria" , "I want you to be a missionary." I answered, "Yes, Lord." This was a very frightful thing for a young girl of 17 to understand. But since I have learned, IF IT IS GOD'S WILL, HE WILL PROVIDE THE WAY!
I began to have a deep desire to share certain teaching tapes with others. I was prompted by God's Holy Spirit to minister in this way. And when I obeyed these promptings of the Holy Spirit what joy I felt inside. Friends were helped. This went on for several years. My path would cross with someone hurting from the cruelness of this world. God would lead me to duplicate certain messages for them. "...NOT BY MIGHT, NOR BY POWER, BUT BY MY SPIRIT, SAITH THE LORD OF HOSTS." Zachariah 4:6 "FOR THIS IS THE MESSAGE THAT YE HEARD FROM THE BEGINNING, THAT WE SHOULD LOVE ONE ANOTHER." I John 3:11
"GOD'S SPECIAL LADY" ... HOW GOD GAVE ME A TRUCKER HANDLE, BEFORE I EVEN KNEW HE WAS CALLING ME TO THE HIGHWAYS: "One Day I Was Standing At My Kitchen Sink....Feeling all blue and discouraged. I felt so lonely, so unloved. There were some issues and problems in my life that I had no answers or solutions to. As I was looking out my kitchen window, I was asking God, "Why me, Lord? Why can't I be happy in spite of my circumstances as you Holy Word teaches?" When all of a sudden a still small voice, God's Holy Spirit, said to me,You are God's Special Lady. All of a sudden all the depression and discouragement left me. I became joyously happy and warm inside. My whole attitude changed and I began to thank God for all the good things He had given me. It was shortly after this experience that I felt lead by God to begin Harvest For Jesus Ministries after this encounter and this God's Special Lady" message is included on many of the tapes.
Since the beginning of the ministry, we have also had a Trucker's Jamboree, Revival, and been on a local radio station. At times I travel to Trucker Jamborees and distribute tapes to the Drivers. I also play a banjo for the glory of the Lord.
God has provided both direction and help from other dedicated Christians and a network of missionaries sharing resources. Many also make highway gospel tapes.
HOW CAN YOU GET INVOLVED? 1) Volunteer your time to help do the work of this ministry 2) Distribute Tapes 3) Duplicate Tapes in your own home and distribute them 4) Contribute music and other materials for the Truckers as the Holy Spirit leads 5) PRAY for us 6) any Other Ways as the Holy Spirit leads.
All credit and glory for this ministry goes to GOD for without HIM, I could do nothing.
