DEFINING THE APOSTOLIC
An apostle is one who is called and sent by
Jesus Christ to have the spiritual authority,
character, gifts, and abilities to successfully
reach and establish people in God's kingdom of
truth and order, especially through founding and
overseeing local churches.
Apostolic people are Christians who support and participate in apostolic ministry, but are not actual apostles.
Apostolic people work with the Apostles to reach the lost through dynamic outreach, church planting, and nurturing. Apostolic churches are churches that recognize, and relate to modern day Apostles and are active in varying forms of apostolic ministry. When an apostolic spirit is present in a church, people will be aware of purpose, calling, and destiny. The focus of apostolic churches will be different than those with only a pastoral emphasis. Apostolic anointing exhorts the believer to pursue God's call and purpose. It allows the believer to create spiritual momentum inside themselves to overcome their needs by their faith in God. This will help them become useful to God so that they will do his will in their lives. Believers will develop spiritual muscles as they are trained to become useful vessels to fulfill God's plan. An apostolic anointing deals with people by training them and bringing them into all wisdom "until every man will be able, to be
present himself complete in Christ". So GET ON TRACK for training: For the Lord God is a sun and a shield: the Lord God bestows favor and honor: no good thing does he withhold from those whose walk is blameless. 0 Lord Almighty, blessed is the man who trusts in you.
