Our Vision
John Calvin said, over 400 years ago, " When the church is the church - that is, when the marks of the church are evident, the culture around the church is inevitably transformed." Some of the many visions we have at the New Life Church is to break down the racial barriers and prejudice and reach out to the lost, depressed, needy and to bring all children of God together.
Our vision is to help every man and woman break the bonds of drug and alcohol addiction. Our vision is to provide food for the divorced woman with children, the elderly person on a fixed income and the person who has just lost their job so they won't go hungry. Our vision is to visit those who are incarcerated and bring them the joyous news of Jesus Christ who can truly make them free. Our vision is to visit the lonely, forgotten shut-ins and give them a kind smile and uplifting visit. Our vision is to provide a loving, Christian home for children who have never had one.
As Jesus said in Matthew 25:35-36, "For I was hungred, and ye gave me meat; I was a stranger, and ye took me in; naked, and ye clother me; I was sick, and ye visited me; I was in prison, and ye came unto me."
We,at the New Life Church always pledge to honor these words of Jesus Christ.
