"TRUST ME TO SEE YOU THROUGH"
|
Before the beginning of time began
You were a twinkle in God’s eye
He was already evolving a plan for you
To walk closely by His side
As He breathed into your nostrils
The life He planned for you
He whispered softly in your ear
“Trust me to see you through”
So as you grew and learned about God
Your faith in Him grew strong
You learned quite early in your life
Just where your heart belonged
So you gave your life to Jesus
In submission gave your all
And when God called on you to preach
You humbly accepted His call
Although it may not seem easy
And there’s a lot of work to do
God whispers a reminder
“Trust me to see you through”
As you stand on Sunday mornings
With the Bible in your hand
You teach us what His word says
And of things that God has planned
Not only do you speak with words
But you also speak with love
You’ve touched so many lives around
You’re someone we’re proud of
I know sometimes you worry
Sometimes you feel a little blue
Just remember what God’s saying
“Trust me to see you through”
