"GOD TOOK AN ANGEL HOME"
|
God took another angel home
He took the very best
Her struggles here on Earth are through
He took her home to rest
She left us with fond memories
One’s I will never forget
She made a mark upon my heart
Since the moment that we met
Her smile could warm the coldest room
Her hugs could heal all pain
Her words were kind and gentle
She not lived her life in vain
Before she left I got to tell her
How much she meant to me
I told her that I loved her
And was special as could be
Although she was in pain that day
And her words were very few
She whispered softly in my ear
She said, “I love you too”
Her words are now a memory
As from this life she part
God came and took my angel home
She now lives within my heart
This poem is a tribute to someone who was very special
to me, Dale Buchanan. She was a dear Christian friend and
will be deeply missed. She has went home to be with the
Lord now. Her trials and suffering are over and one day I will
see her again inside those Pearly Gates of Heaven. Until then
I will cherish the memories she has left behind.
