F orever we’re bonded through friendship
In God’s plan this was meant to be
R emembering all of our good times
Shared together, by you and me
I am thankful I’ve gotten to know you
I’m glad for the time that we spend
E mbracing our memories together
I’m proud I can call you my friend
N umerous times you have been there
Lovingly, showing you care
D eeply concerned for my being
Uplifting me in your prayers
S o often I think of your friendship
How different my life seems to be
H aving been shown love and kindness
The way you have shown it to me
I want you to know that I love you
You’re special in so many ways
P recious times that we shared together

You’ve been there for me countless times
You never did complain
You sat and listened while I talked
You helped to ease the pain
How is it that you care so much
‘Bout how I feel inside
How is it that your love’s so strong
And helps the hurt subside
It doesn’t matter what you’re doing
Or how busy you may be
You always seem to find the time
To sit and talk with me
Some how you seem to take away
My troubles and my fears
Some times I want to scream and shout
Some times I cry some tears
But you don’t seem to mind at all
You even understand
Some times I need a shoulder
Some times a helping hand
So how do I say thank you
Those words they seem so small
Compared to what you’ve done for me
For giving me your all
This thank you comes from deep within
For always being there
For loving me and showing me
How much you truly care
