What a great job you have done. I have read some of the testimonies of others. When we were pregnant with the twins the doctor asked us if we wanted to abort our smaller baby so the bigger one had a 100% change of living. We could not do this. Our children were given a 10% chance of living and they are 6 1/2 years old now. Yes one of them has some handicaps but we wouldn't change anything. Your web site is so moving to me. I cried as I read some of your stories & prayers. In memory of my little Hannah (8/90) and Joel Micheal (4/94)....I was advised in 1990 at 8 weeks I was about to miscarry and was admitted to the hospital for a D&C....I will never know what miracle God might have performed to save my daughter..... Hi Eve, It has been awhile since I last stopped in. Last Mother's Day weekend I helped in a large babyshower in the Tampa area that supplied baby and Mother's items to 27 Crisis Pregnancy Centers, my church recently donated to a local center and recieved a card back. That one center has helped 500 women in about 11 months with baby items and post abortion treatment. At that rate the entire babyshower effort has helped at least 13,000 women within the past 11 months. God Bless Allan Brewster

I wish that there would have been a web-site 25 years ago when I made my choice to abort. There was no alternative solution available to me at the time,other than to continue with the pregenancy and place my child up for adoption. Which I felt I was unable to do at the time. When I scrolled through the quilts made in memory of aborted babies, tears came to my eyes. How people in our government can continue to protect the pro-choice movement is beyond me. They should see and understand the pain that a woman feels after aborting her child. I just wrote to my Congressman and urged him to vote for HR 503, The Unborn Victims of Violence Act. While I disagree with aspects of your site for religious and political reasons, I would like to say that I am deeply moved that you have created a resource for women/men who have made the choice to abort and later regretted that choice. I think that this particular need is unaddressed in most arenas; the agony of a miscarriage is barely acknowledged; the loss of a child by one's own choice is surely forbidden. I would like to share a blessing that the LOrd gave me on Thanksgiving Day.WE had about 12 people at our house.One of them was my Nephew which I thught about Jesus in my Sunday school class about two years ago.The Lord has totally turned his life around.Praise God for that,but there is more,in 1990,David was appointed to distruction through abortion,but someone heard the voice of the Lord and stretched forth a hand of love through a Crisis Pregnancy Center.Praise God that David is alive today.Pregnancy Centers save lives so the more that the word of them is spread,the more Babies will be saved.God Bless.

I always knew abortion was wrong, and I still do! But seeing those pictures, really made it clear to me, about what they do to them. It is horrible and wrong. I will be praying that this site, will open many peoples eyes, to how wrong it is. I am only 15 years old, but I will praying for all of you mothers out there. Go to God for comfort, and you will receive it.

Thank you for the reminder that we all have an obligation to remember those who have died and those who make wrong choices. I will pray daily for the mothers who must remember every day, and who may not be able to forgive themselves. God is merciful and loving, and will forgive you. Dearest Eve, you will never know how much this site has allowed me to begin to heal after the loss of my two children- one to an elective abortion and one due to severe congenital anomalies. By sharing my story you have allowed God to begin working in my life like never before. In doing so, the guilt is being lifted and God is restoring peace to my soul. There are no words to express my appreciation for you and all you have done to help me. It has been 12 years since my abortion and I never thought I would get over it. Without God, and His using you to help me, I probably would still be carrying this burden in my heart as I have all these years. You are such a precious person and so giving. I thank God that he has brought us together through this tragedy and is using it to bring glory to Him. Please know that you will continually be in my thoughts and prayers. Help I have your banner "after the choice" at http://www.geocities.com/brooksheaven/BRIAN.html I am try to get the link to work and i put it in right and when i go to check to see if i can come to this wonderful site all i get is the opening page a occ. Wow this is such a great page. Yes women & girls who are thinking of abortion I do believe do not know the memories & questions they will have to live with later on in life. I chose adoption the loving option & the only question I have to ask myself now is " what tould I have done of not for the loving couple that loves my son as their own now?" I am so glad to see that there are people who care enough to work on sites such as this one. Karen's story brought back such terrible memories of my best friend in high school. She didn't have an abortion, but her family made her give her baby away. I don't know if she has ever been able to find peace from that. We stayed in touch for maybe ten years after high school. During all that time, a marriage and another child, she was so unhappy. She would never talk to me about it, but I know that was what was bothering her. She finally ended our friendship. I had only tried that one time to talk with her about her unhappiness, but I think that I reminded her of the past. It hurt for a long time to give up my dear friend, but if it may help her not to hurt so much, it was okay. She did not go to church. I don't know if she ever prayed about it, and I don't know if she ever found peace. God bless you Karen that you may find the peace that only He can give and that maybe your letter will help others from going through the same thing; and God Bless you Eve for being there when someone needs someone so badly.
