GEARING UP 4 THE HOLIDAYS, PLEASE, HELP US HELP OTHERS
|
We at Truckers 4 Christ Ministries are GEARING up for the holidays. We are looking at feeding hundreds of needy people over the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays here in Juarez, Mexico.
I´m not just talking about feeding the people who are able to come to us, I´m also talking about going to the most poverty stricken parts of Juarez, feeding people hot meals and taking food boxes to hand out, along with clothes and bibles.
In doing this comes a lot of expence. So we are needing your help in taking God´s people, compassion, hope, love, food, clothes, and the word of God (bibles) to those who would in no other way receive it. So can you find it in your heart to help us help others?
EXPENCES IN SERVING OTHERS:
1. We need to purchase the food to prepare, eg: turkeys, hams and the fixins.
2. We really could use an extra refrigerator and stove for storing the food and preparing the meals.
3. We need to purchase the food to make up food boxes,
ie: rice, beans, canned foods, soups, vegetables, breads, peanutbutter and jelly, honey, water, juices, ect.
4. We will have a big expence of 2 types of gases, natural gas for preparing the meals and gasoline for transporting the food and other things to where there needed.
5. We are needing some of you all (ya´ll) to either purchase some spanish bibles for us off the internet (where there pretty reasonable) or help us financially
for us to be able to purchase the bibles ourselves.
6. There is no doubt, if someone had a any kind of vehicle that they were wanting to get rid of (donate) running or not, we could use one. You will receive a receipt for tax purposes.
7. Since we will be feeding at Christmas time, school will be out, and about that time Wal-Mart has BIG sales (cheap) going back to school supplies. It would be a blessing to some kids to have what they needed to go back to school. I would love to make that happen (God willing) to be able to hand out school supplies to the kids. When Wal-Mart has sales on school stuff, you parents know you can really stretch a dollar.
I know it sounds like I´m asking for the moon, But if you think about it, if out of the millions of people who will read this website, if only 500 people would send as little as $20.00 or more, that adds up, thats $10,000.00 from just 500 people at just $20.00 each. That would get everything we need to do, done and then some! What if it were you or your family, I´ll bet you would really appreciate it, and I know they will!
SO WILL YOU PLEASE HELP US MINISTER TO THESE PEOPLE IN NEED?

THE SON OF MAN WILL JUDGE THE NATIONS
31 “When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. 32 All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats. 33 And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left. 34 Then the King will say to those on His right hand, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: 35 for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; 36 I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.’
37 “Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink? 38 When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? 39 Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’ 40 And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’
41 “Then He will also say to those on the left hand, ‘Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels: 42 for I was hungry and you gave Me no food; I was thirsty and you gave Me no drink; 43 I was a stranger and you did not take Me in, naked and you did not clothe Me, sick and in prison and you did not visit Me.’
44 “Then they also will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to You?’ 45 Then He will answer them, saying, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me.’ Matthew 25:31-45 NIV
