Dear Sir/Madam, Greetings from Shalom Christian Academy. My names are Pamela Kibita the school Principal of Shalom Christian Academy. Shalom Christian Academy is an interdenominational Christian school founded in 2005 with the aim of offering education to poor, orphaned, and needy children in the rural communities. At Shalom we have a kindergarten and primary section up to P.5 with a total of 250 (122 boys and 128 girls) pupils aged between 4yrs - 13 yrs. We have a teaching staff of 7 teachers. Our school is based in a rural remote village in Iganga district. Our school being a Christian school we link or contact other Christian and non Christian Schools for partnership/twinning for purposes of sharing experiences and information from both schools. Our school is based on a land with 12 acres, we have temporary structures which we use as classrooms and other classes are conducted under trees.
