String Theory and it's implications:
Recently, upon reading an old issue of Time magazine (December 1999), I stumbled upon some most amazing facts concerning the "String Theory".
Although written by secular authors, I was comforted to see something written in some "easy to understand" language, including Atoms, Quarks, Strings, etc. What I found was not something the author specifically stated, but is a logical conclusion from his writings:
Over the years, references has been often made to Atoms, and their composition. We all know that Atoms are composed of protons, neutrons and electrons. But what are protons, neutrons and electrons composed of? "Quarks" they say. But what are "Quarks".
In this article in Time (December 31, 1999), the author describes "Quarks" as the composition of protons, neutrons, and electrons. They are essentially "Strings". What is meant by that is the fact that "some thing" (my words)is forming vibrations that are spinning around in a random pattern within the "proton" which gives it the formation of what we see as a "proton". The same is true with the neutron and electron. But the "some thing" is not a "substance"...per se. It is the result of vibrations that produce what seems to be substance.
Take that amazing revelation, and consider the fact that there are more Atoms in a toy block than there are drops of water in the Atlantic ocean! Consider the fact that I cannot even tell you how many Atoms compose this entire world, or the planets, Sun, and untold billions of other suns and galaxies in the Universe.
What "vibrations", are we talking about? The author does not allude to that, but I will. God in Genesis 1:1 created the heavens and the "earth". This "Earth" that He created .... He created by the word of His mouth. He "SPOKE" it into existence. The Hebrew word in Genesis 1:1 "Created" is "Bara" - to create out of nothing. He created these atoms, and all other atoms, by the word of His mouth!
What a fantastic creation we see, that God is keeping together (By Him all things "consist").
