QUESTIONS GOD WON'T ASK ON THAT DAY
1. God won't ask what kind of car you drove. He will ask how many people you drove who didn't have transportation.
2. God won't ask the square footage of your house. He will ask how many people you welcomed in your home and fed.
3. God won't ask about the clothes you had in your closet. He will ask how many people you helped clothe.
4. God won't ask what your highest salary was. He will ask if you compromised your character to obtain it.
5. God won't ask what your job title was. He will ask if you performed your job to the best of your ability every day.
6. God won't ask how many friends you had. He will ask how many people to whom you were a friend.
7. God won't ask in what neighborhood you lived. He will ask how you treated your neighbors.
8. God won't ask the color of your skin. He will ask the content of your character.
9. God won't ask why it took so long to seek Salvation. He will lovingly take you to your mansion in heaven, and not to the gates of hell.
10. God won't have to ask how many people you forwarded this to. He already knows your decision.
Statement of Beliefs:
I believe in God, the Father Almighty, creator of Heaven and earth. And in Jesus Christ, His only begotten son, our LORD. Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate. Was crucified, died and was buried. He descended into hell. On the third day, He rose again and ascended into Heaven. He sits at the right hand of the Father. He will come again to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, His holy church, communion of saints, forgiveness of sin, and resurrection of the body and life everlasting. Amen.
Reflective thoughts of my walk as a Christian:
I know I am a Christian because since I was a child: No matter what anyone did to me wrongly, I always responded doing the right thing for them. No matter what! Did not talk bad about anyone. Don't try to get revenge. Not a jealous person. I never turned away any of God's animal kingdom nor man in need that He sent to me for help. Whatever He sends my way, I take care of it. Whatever it takes ~ unconditionally ~ I do His will according to His Word.
I did lose my faith once, thinking the LORD forsaked me during some heavy trials. I then was born again....giving the LORD my word that He and I would always be friends forever. That I never wanted to lose Him again. Then to realize He was always there in the first place and I had a lot more to learn.
And also made a pact with Him that I would repay, (always during my lifetime) all the kindnesses and love and respect I received from people during some early-on trials of my life. And even when I thought he forsaked me, I never failed to carry on with my commitment to God in regard to that promise; no matter how bad it got for me.
I never tell anyone of any of my good deeds for others~God knows. As far as turning the other cheek....I do. However, I am a miserable sinner; but will constantly endeavor to keep on His path with His help. He has blessed me. with what I feel, are real miracles. Also being blessed to be a witness to other's blessings of God's miracles over and over again.
Knowing the LORD is preparing us to teach and guide each other. Our trials and tribulations equals God's wisdom. And knowing that anytime I can disagree with Him directly on any of this. But of course, it will be His way!
God never fails to amaze me and I feel His joy and happiness when He uses me to do His will. God has wit, because He makes me laugh, by how he blind sights you. It is like a joke that you don't get for about a month. All of a sudden you realize how clever the LORD has been. Then there are times when in an instant he sends someone to you at any given time or place; and it's like the Holy Spirit stops you right then and there to guide that person to the LORD and to His Church. And that person asks you to go to Church with them the following Sunday. We are here to help guide and follow God's 10 Commandments - Guiding souls to GOD.
I have been told I am a "woman of her word."
In summary, My Mother taught me that if you follow God's 10 commandments, you can live and die with a clear conscience and that equals God's Will. "If you can't say anything good about someone, don't say anything at all." "Treat all creation as you want to be treated." How do you want to be treated? She also said that nobody is perfect and that is why God sacrificed His only begotten Son for the sin of the whole world.
The above statements are an answer to a question to me of how I see myself as a Christian.
