BIBLE STUDY ON THE WORD OF GOD
truth about God, explains the origin of man, points out the way of salvation and explains about sin and suffering. Many books can inform but only the Bible transforms!!
The theme of the Bible is our Lord Jesus Christ and His work of redemption for man. The Lord is revealed in the Gospels and the full purpose of His life, His death and His resurrection are explained in the Epistles.
Christians should know the Bible because God is its Author and all Bible students know that God is the Creator (Gen. l:l) Redeemer (Isaiah 60: 16) and Judge (Gen.18: 25) About 14 centuries before Christ our Bible had its beginnings in Sinai desert when God spoke to Moses and at His command Moses wrote the first five books of the Bible. Over a period of many years the rest of the books were compiled by men from various walks of life. The written Word of God revels the mind of the Father, the will of the Father and shows us the way to the Father. The Word is the Father speaking to us and you will notice that it is always present tense.
The Lord is my Shepherd (Psalm 23: 1)
I am the Good Shepherd (John 10: 14)
Fear thou not, for I am with thee.... (Isaiah 14: 10)
God is the strength of my life (Ps.17: 1)
