Fervent brothers and sisters in the kingdom of God: I am a widow with no personal finances to spend for tests, chemotherapy or surgery; but I have faith in God Almighty who alone has power over life and death, and I submit my concerns to His will. God says, “Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven. For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them" (Matthew 18:19-20 NIV). Please join me (Miriam) in prayer and ask God the Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, to shrink the cervical myomas and mammary cysts in my body into nothing and to completely banish these abnormal growths from my body forever. Please also help lift up in prayer to the Father, in Jesus' name, and ask for the healing and deliverance of our family members who are lost in sibling rivalry, greed, and property squabbles, particularly Lorna who is battling Stage 2 mammary carcinoma, Nimfa who suffers from obesity and heart palpitations, Sonia who is suffering from a large uterine myoma and battling Stage 4 mammary carcinoma, Charlit and Lilybeth who suffer from mammary cysts, and Cynthia who is battling recurred nonsmoker lung cancer. Let us ask the Father, through Jesus Christ, to move and bring us all to into repentance, forgiveness, reconciliation, and unity in His merciful love; for the Holy Spirit to create in each of us a pure heart, sound mind, a steadfast spirit, and restored bodily health; and for the joy of Jesus’ work of salvation to be renewed in our hearts, to the glory of God Almighty’s power and Jesus Christ’s mighty name! This is the first report and prayer concerns I am filing with you for your prayerful consideration. This is to let you know how much we appreciate your prayers and petitions that go up daily on our behalf. We are especially encouraged and blessed by all the prayers and intercessions you are making on our behalf and the ministry here. I know it is because of your sacrifice to be able to go down on your knees to petition the throne on our behalf that we have experienced here a growth spurt and open doors in the ministry! Please pray with us about the following: That by the Lord’s help we will help our new pastors on 2007 training to establish about 17 more house fellowships before the year ends. We have had additional 45 ministers who want to be ordained and/or licensed who want to go into full time ministry in their areas of callings. Pray with us that the Lord will lead us to the right people who are really sold out to the things of God who are guided by right motives to associate with us. Please pray with us also that we will get additional funds to acquire a bigger commercial cleaning machine (floor scrubber) which we have been yearning for. In that way Jane and I and the group working with us would be able to generate more income through our window and carpet cleaning business and be able to minister to the needs of the pastors working with us and to fund several outreaches, among them the prison, the street and the literature ministry that the Lord has placed in our hearts of late. Pray that the Lord will provide $175 monthly rent to help us get into a ministry office. This office is something we would not have but want to keep it for legal purposes and to maintain a Pastoral resource and ministry school library Please feel free to share with us your heart and whatever you feel the Lord wants you to do! Prayer Request Dear Rev. Ruby Anderson, Hope you are doing fine, its long since i heard from you.Iheard the Holy Spirit pushing us to write you today. We are still believing and trusting God to use you powerful in raising some good support for our building materials at your place. We have set men and women in the church to pray and fast for you as you move around in your place. Just keep it up please for we are waiting it patiently with full faith in Him who gives. We have also the program of widows and orphans if you happen to get someone to help we will appreciate. We plan to have diary cows for milk , goats also for milk and Laying hens for eggs to them. Kindly share it with your friends : Widows and Orphans Program This program is working to provide for widows and orphans and to keep the school functioning for the young children in the area. Early education is not mandatory in Kenya. The parents are expected to do it. If the parents are unable or if there are no parents the children miss the preparation they need to enter school. The New Hope Fellowship church has had an early childhood school for eight years. The teacher works without a salary and lives on the contributions of her students parents who are very poor and the people of the small church, also very poor. She has been in her position since the school opened eight years ago. She also cares for a mentally handicapped orphaned boy. Pastors Lucas and Jane Obanda started a program that will provide both income and food for the children in the school as well as the widows and orphans in the community. They have purchased three goats and already have a new baby. They will continue to breed the goats and use them for milk and eventually meat. They also have some chickens for eggs and meat. Their need is for good milk cows not just the native cows. They will breed these to increase the herd and to sell, and they will provide milk for the children. They also need more goats and chickens. They have space for the livestock but they would like to buy a tract of land on which to raise some crops. Land can be leased but once it is improved and producing the landlord tends to want it back. The best way is to buy—but money for leasing and seed is better than nothing. Below is a list of costs, any contribution would be appreciated. These are good, honest people with hearts for the Lord and a calling to do this work. All of your contribution will go toward the project. There will be no "administrative costs" here. 1. Dairy cows @ 30,000-40,000 KSH = about $500 to $571 each USD 2. Goats @ 2000 KSH each = about $28 each USD 3. Laying hens @ 300 KSH = about $4.00 USD Only a few can produce lots more! 4. Land around Mumias runs about $2,500 USD an acre. Please pray for my mom and I as we are needing backup prayers combatting neighborhood witchcraft.(as confusion seems great right now!) I am also standing in faith for the healing of my senior mom's knees so she does not need knee replacement surgery. She is also needing normal blood pressure and normal cholesterol readings. My mom and I love to pray together and have been doing this daily for the last 15 years-especially for my family who has been battling a deaf&dumb spirit for years and needs total deliverance(This dumb spirit manifests as OCD in me, bipolar-shizophrenic in my sister, schizophrenia in my brother,etc. )I always pray 2-4 hours a day, but the diagnosis for me is the same.-obsessive-compulsive disorder and post-traumatic stress disorder. So if this is also a healing of the mind as well, I am believing God for a miracle! Our ancestors were involved heavily in the occult, and I have repented for the sins of our ancestors and have broken a few curses, but this I feel is a stronghold and has got to go! Please pray for our son, Christopher. He has been fighting & overcoming adversities, since he was 6 mo. old (and nearly died). His life, socially & academically, has been an up-hill climb. He is now a senior in college, and wants to attend Law School so he can serve justice & help others. The admission process is fierce competition. Please pray that 1 school will give him the opertunity to prove himself. Pray also that we can afford this. We are just ordinary, hard-working people. We aren't wealthy, but we have our faith.
