Do You Know Jesus?
|
I mean really know Jesus. Let me tell you a little about Him. He is so good, He is so wonderful, He is glorious, and marvelous, He is my everything. Sometimes I can sit, and just think about the name of Jesus, and can begin to feel the warmth of His love surrounding me. Sometimes I can start calling the name of Jesus, and feel the warmth of His love inside of me. Sometimes I can hear the name of Jesus, and it makes me stop to think about how much He truly, and completely loves me. He died for me. Can you believe that? ME! He rose from that borrowed tomb after three days for me. He went down to hell, and preached to the dead. He took the sting out of death for me. Jesus is real. He isn't some made up character, to tickle your fancy. He lived, walked, breathed, ate, healed, preached, died and rose again. For me. Everything that happened to Him was prophesied years before he ever walked this earth, and there is only one way to the Father, and that my friend is by believing and confessing Him. Jesus said, "I AM THE WAY, THE TRUTH, and THE LIGHT, NO MAN COMETH UNTO the FATHER but by ME!" I didn't say that. The Roman guards didn't say that. JESUS said that. HE "DIED" for us. That is right. He looked down into eternity and new one day that we would not be found worthy of entering into the Kingdom of Heaven, and while we where yet still in our sin, He left His throne and was born of a virgin to be nailed to a cross, because He loved us so much. Wonderful! That's what they call Him. He did it all for me, and He did it all for you. No matter what you've done in your life, He knew none of us where worthy, and never will be. It's the blood which was spilled on Calvary's cross, it covers us, and makes us white as snow. Now that is good news. So, I ask again; Do you know Jesus? If you don't, I can tell you how you can. Say this prayer, and Let Jesus be your everything.
Most Gracious Heavenly Father. Sacred, and Holy is your Name. I come confessing that I am a sinner. I'm asking you to forgive me of my sins, cleanse me with the blood of Jesus. Forgive me of my iniquites, and make me white as snow. I believe Jesus was the son of God. I believe He was sent to die for our sins. I believe He was hung on the cross, buried in a tomb, and rose again after three days. I confess this with my mouth. I want to live for you all the days of my life, send your Holy Spirit to dwell into my heart, and make me a new creature. In Jesus name I ask thee. Amen.
