September Memory
September 15 - Morning Prayer: I thank You, my heavenly Father, through Jesus Christ, Your dear Son,
September 16 - that You have kept me this night from all harm and danger;
September 18 - and I pray that You would keep me this day also from sin and every evil,
September 22 - that all my doings and life may please You.
September 23 - For into Your hands I commend myself, my body and soul, and all things.
September 25 - Let your holy angel be with me, that the evil foe may have no power over me. Amen.
September 29 - The First Commandment: You shall have no other gods.
September 30 - 1 John 5:21 - Dear children, keep yourselves from idols.
October 2 - Matthew 28:19 - Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
Memory will be on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. That means you have no memory to study on (most) weekends and eventually on the nights when we have Advent and Lenten services. The children will need to know the book, chapter and verse along with the words. When it comes to a commandment, they must say which one it is and the commandment, so that they gain an understanding of what they are learning. The date stated before each memory is the date when the memory should be learned for. If you have any questions please let me know.
