Visions
Recently, with a heavy burden to win souls to Christ, Rev Paul Uzoma went out to some of the market places, football pitches where soccer fans gather in thousands to watch their favorite players and some densely populated streets. He began to ask God where this crowd uses to be on Sundays during service periods, and church activities. It has been his desire that every man and woman he meets on the street should be born again, and that all that are frustrated, oppressed, afflicted and bound by the devil be liberated and for better life.
It was with this divine burden that God to give him a vision he calls Star Vision. This revelation came from Abraham’s encounter with God. As the uncountable stars that Abraham saw represent the innumerable children of Abraham, God has also many uncountable stars as his children even more than the crowd described above, languishing outside God’s kingdom, in poverty, sin, sickness and spiritual bondage with the need of being translated from darkness to the marvelous light of God’s dear son. For this reason he presents the Vision Statement as,
Building a bridge of repentance and salvation
from this world of sin into God’s kingdom,
preparing the people for better life on earth,
and a glorious life hereafter through the teaching
and preaching of the word of faith and wisdom
