We have Youth Concerts several times a year!
We take our Youth and Children Groups to several events each year, such as Fusion,Youth America Camp, Willie George Summer Camp, Skating Parties...!
We have Christian Movie Night for the Youth on Wednesday nights when available!
Christian Movies for the Superkids Children's Ministry and Kingdom Kids Children's Ministry some Sundays!
And many, many more activities!
We operate a Food Pantry!
We deliver food boxes to needy families at Christmas!
We minister to the homeless offering a place of Worship, food, clothes, blankets, and personal hygiene items!
We have an Outreach Program that goes out in to the community ministering to others and inviting them to visit The Village Church of Little Rock and the activities that we offer.We meet on the 2 nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month from 5:30pm until 7 pm for a short time of prayer and immediately after go on OUTREACH!
The largest event that we host each year is Comm"UNITY" Fest!
On Ocotber 31st of each year we offer a festival to the children in and around the community as a safe and fun alternative to Halloween!
We have skits, carnival games, inflatable jumpers, prizes, candy and refreshments! We have the Morgan Nick Photo ID available. No one walks away empty-handed!
Comm"UNITY" Fest 2004 was our 7th annual event. The first year we had 25 children and that has increased each year. Comm"UNITY" Fest 2003 we had approx. 1200 people attend. We had a great time this year and it was a tremendous success.
This event is FREE OF CHARGE and EVERYONE IS WELCOME!
We rely totally on donations of candy, prizes, food and other products needed to make this event a success from businesses across the United States and monetary donations from with in our Church. We have had a wonderful response to our requests for donations and appreciate all of the help we receive. As we said, EVERYTHING is FREE of charge and this event would not be a success without the generous donations that we receive!
We host this event each year and hope to continue this for years to come. We have asked other churches in our area to join us in this effort to provide a safe and fun alternative to Halloween.
Bethesda Missionary Baptist Church has joined our efforts the past three years.
We begin preparing for this event in March of each year! IT IS THAT TIME AGAIN... We appreciate any donations in any form that will help make this event a success as well as the time and energy it takes to prepare.
