I am a Pastor with Redeemed Gospel Churches. I believe in the bible as the inspired word of God, authoritative and unchangeable according to (2Tim 3:15-17). It is by the grace of God that I received Christ, Having known the truth, I had no choice than to do what is lawful and right in the sight of God for eternal life and in the sight of man for witness of God´s mercy and glory upon my life. I am married to Late Herina Banaof blessed memory who worked with Kuwait embassy in Sudan for nine years before he died in the year 2000. We were married for eleven years without a child. He died after a brief illness that lasted for only four days. Before his death we were both very devoted Christians. Since his death I decided not to re-marry or get a child outside my matrimonial home which the Bible is against. Since his death I too have been battling with both cancer and fibroid problems. When my late husband was alive he deposited the sum $12.3Million (Twelve Million Three hundred thousand U.S. Dollars) with a Finance&Security Company in Lome-Togo. Presently, this money is still with the Security Company. Recently, my Doctor told me that I have a limited time to live on earth due to my cancer problem. Though what disturbs me most is my stroke sickness. Having known my condition I decided to donate this fund to either a christian organization or devoted christian individual that will utilize this money the way I am going to instruct here-in. In order to achieve these objectives, I used to visit door to door and praying for their illness and help the poor widows, orphans by providing food, shelter, clothing, medicines and financial support for their essential needs like medical treatment, education etc. On my personnel prayers, I always remember “O my Jesus, you have said, “Truly I say to you, ask and it will be given you, seek and you will find, knock and it will be opened to you” (Mt 7:7) We are using our profession, education, talents and skills in the mission to serve the poor and needy. By the grace of god, I have been in this mission for over 21 years and I am very grateful to god for allowing me to be little part of his great work. Without rendering such a service people might otherwise be condemn to their state of poverty. The poor around us desperately need our service to educate, care for and lift them up from their state and teach them how to improve their quality of life and standard of living. We educate people how to make good use of resources and foods available them. We are also providing first aid in the field of health care. So many people are sick and fear going to hospitals for a variety of reasons. People are just suffering the disease and dying unnecessarily. People are afraid to open about their ailments, but when they know we are a missionary to release them and they easily open up bout their problems which are most of the time easily solvable. When remote tribal people go to hospital, the doctors are typically rough and uncompassionate with the patients. It seems they are only concerned about the money. Many times, if don’t pay upfront, no matter how bad of shape you are in, they won’t treat you. I know people who have died because they didn’t have the funds to pay the Doctor for a life threatening surgery; we make an arrangement to provide a doctor who is a member of my mission. He takes his time and is patient with them. He also helped many people get through and recover from simple as well as serious illness. Dear brothers and sisters, Praise the Lord. This is my service and Gospel, Social work to my surrounding village people. In the Service of the poor and remote tribal area’s children, we are conducting regular weekly Sunday schools and medical camps, food, clothing, education etc. We are making them as good citizens of this country. Around 50 children are getting our services in orphanage home. As on today, we have an enormous response from the village people who were massively converted to Christianity and they stand for Jesus Christ. They were participating our regular weekly masses with dedication and full faith. Here presently around 100 or above member in each church are running in 15 different remote villages with 24 churches. Each church is running with one poor Pastor who is also dedicatedly working beyond their capacity. Some of the churches does not have permanent buildings also. But still our pastors are actively conducting their regular weekly masses. Church Members gathered under the Tree for conducting Weekly Sunday Mass Now we have started an innovative programmed to service the old age people and widow in our churches and their neighboring areas. In these programs we are supplying food, cloths, and medicines regularly and also preparing them for gospel by door to door campaign for conducting prayers and lead the new souls toward Jesus. Pray for us as we are going to construct a shelter for them to improve their services and make this program success. Please help for construction of bible collage or children home. These are the details GIVEN below Para. We are also conducting bible classes & collages for the youth to make them confident to become a preacher. The total members of youth in my service and in ministry are 250 above for the youth to make them confident to become a preacher. Kindly pray for this effort as we are struggling hard for procuring books, bible material and various Gospel books and other stationary. We also are planning to provide a shelter for them. So that this programmed may take in large scale and also planning to expand our mission beyond our present remote villages. Street Children Program We take pleasure in requesting support for New Life Ministries, Inc.,. is a ministry to mobilise efforts to protect and promote the rights of all children, especially the right to receive a free, meaningful education and to be free from economic exploitation and from performing any work that is likely to be harmful to the child's physical, mental, spiritual, moral or social development." New Life Ministries, Inc. is a ministry born out of hope and the need felt by thousands of people across the Mindanao - the desire to set children free from illiteracy, servitude and poverty. Statistics Highly-visible' children in the streets: Mindanao regional totals: 22,556 (highly visible), 138,328 (estimated total). Approximately 70% are boys. [2] Defining Filipino street children According to the our study there are three different categories of street children: children on the streets, children of the streets and completely abandoned children. "Children on the streets" make up approximately 75% of the street children in the Philippines. These children work on the streets but do not live there, having a home to return to after working. Some of them even continuing to attend school while working long hours on the streets. In contrast, "Children of the street" on the other hand make their homes on the street. They make up 25%-30% of the street children in the Philippines. These children often create a sort of family among fellow street children. Some of them still have family ties, but do not visit them and some even see these ties as bad. "Completely abandoned children" have no family ties and are entirely on their own for physical and psychological survival. They make up about 5%-10% of the street children in the Philippines. [3] [4] The Davao City Local Development Plan for Children (2003-2007) says that in 2000, Davao had 1,505 street children. This figure more than doubled the following year to 3,213. According to the child-rights group Tambayan, most of the city's street children belong to gangs, of which there are now some 150.[8] Problems facing street children A study of street children in Davao City reveals important insights into the situation of street children. We summarizes the situation as follows: * Poor health and nutrition. Street children suffer from poor health and malnutrition as a result of poor diets and long waking hours spent at work. They are also highly susceptible to infectious diseases, and experience poor dental health. * Interrupted education as a consequence. While many may be currently enrolled, these children have stopped schooling at one time or other in the past, usually at the intermediate grade levels. Children who live completely away from their families face the the greatest risk of being out-of-school. * Urban poor children spend many hours on the streets, often longer than would other children and maybe even longer than adults in the formal labor sector. They both work and play on the streets. Those from child-headed households also use the street as their homes. * Working children on the city streets engage in simple jobs, such as vending and other simple services for commuters, the retail and transport industry, or in scavenging and begging. A few admit to be entertainers. For these types of work, they are paid on piece work or daily basis, usually earning no more than P20 -P50 per day. Because of their conditions, the street children are very susceptible to malnutrition, sickness, substance abuse, gambling, sexual abuse and exploitation, and sexually transmitted diseases, physical injuries due to vehicular accidents, street fights, and harassment by the police and extortionists. In order to survive these situations, they end up going with gangs for support and protection. However, it is the gangs that expose and influence them to commit petty crimes, and may be later, eventually lead them to do bigger crimes or early death. The Ministry's programs include: Balik-Loob sa Diyos (Back to God) Program - seeks to bring the children and their families to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ through regular prayer, Bible studies and worship meetings, talks, counselling and community building. To provide formation in their Christian life. Balik-Kalusugan (Back to Health) Program - seeks to provide regular health care through medical and dental check-ups and other means of support as needed. Balik-Bahay (Back to Home) or Shelter Program - seeks to bring the street children back to their homes and families if possible and to provide a decent home for those in need. The Ministry Goal and Plan ( on Shelter Program) The Ministry's goal is to rehabilitate, ensure and sustain the integration of young street girls below 18 years, and girls who have been sexually abused or prostituted with their families, if feasible, and to society in general. The ministry plan to provides the street girls and sexually abused children with temporary and therapeutic home atmosphere, thereby protecting them from the dangers of the street and/ or their abusive environment. In the Shelter, the girls are assisted in developing positive values, enhancing in them their feelings of self-respect and self-esteem, so each child can come to a better understanding of herself and her experience. Balik-Aral (Back to School) Program - seeks to provide education to as many children as possible through scholarships. The main focus on the program is to provide alternative education opportunities and psychosocial support for street children. These include value clarification, basic literacy and numeracy, para-legal education, educational assistance, and non-formal education, sports and recreation, and health education and counseling. Balik-Hanapbuhay (Back to Work) Program - seeks to impart livelihood skills and sustainable income for the families of street children. We are seeking support from the Ministry to enable us to develop and to reach more illiterate, poor, under privilege and exploited children of whole Mindanao. We ask for your partnership because of the Ministry's demonstrated interest in education and community development, especially for those from the underrepresented minority communities of a third world country like us.. We critically need funds to launch this sorely needed programs, education for poor school children, health care services and productivity and income improvement. The challenge at this stage is to seize the opportunity, to take the risk, to realize an innovative, new, rewarding and productive future. Dear beloved friend in Christ, warm Greetings to you in the most highly exalted name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It is really our great privilege but God has given to share something with you about my ministry for your kind co-operation. I take the promise from Mathew 7.7 and approach you for your kind consideration for our ministry. I may be knocking at your door at an odd time, but with the promise that it will be fulfilled. We are a team of youngsters with a great zeal and enthusiasm to extend the kingdom of god in India. We have no affiliation with any organization and we have no any kind of support from anywhere. The resources we have in our ministry are very limited and many times they are beyond the reach of our basic needs. Our aim is to visit every nook and corners of Indian villages and promote the Gospel to every perishing soul. We really hope to see a great deal of harvest in the coming days. In this regard we earnestly wish for your leadership and guidance. Our ministry is mainly based on Gospel work in rural, tribal and slum areas. We visit a number of villages in a month to proclaim the Gospel. India is a country of Idolatry and superstitions. Indians have 9million of Gods and Jesus Christ is considered to be a foreign god. So what we want to prove is that Jesus is the savior of the world. In this regard we need your encouragement in anyway. Christianity in India is considered to be the religion of lowest community. Christians have no honor in the society. They are not allowed to live together with the people of High community. They are considered to be untouchables. So they live in their huts at the outskirts of villages. They work as laborers in the fields for the landlords. They really depend on their potluck. It is because of their poverty and illiteracy. We are regular victims of nature calamities such as cyclones, floods and fire accidents, which take away every year a number of lives and make their children orphans. At such times we bring some of the orphans to us on look after them by collecting money from our local people. But many times the money collected in that way is beyond the reach of their basic needs. At present we are looking after 25orphan children. When we found them they were in a very pathetic condition. They continually cried for their lost parents. Some midnight many of them got up and cried bitterly for their lost mother and father. It was beyond our level to console them they are gradually getting accustomed to our love and care. We have to provide them clothes and coverings. Feed them twice a day. Send them to school and buy their educational material and pay their medical bills. Now dayâ€™s prices have gone up so high that a common man cannot reach them. In such a condition we are not able to feed them and meet their needs properly. If we forsake them to their fate their precious lives will be ruined. In this regard we approach you for your kind charity and generosity to wipe out the continuous stream of tears on their tender cheeks and fill their little bellies with a little food. If you could kindly find a sponsor to support them every month we will be ever grateful to you. Please have compassion for them. In a very needy condition we look on to u for your kind involvement. As we have shared with the orphan children about this letter to you they have already started to pray that our Heavenly Father may bring you their way. Waiting for your loving mail God has given all of us the mandate to care for the widows and the orphans, so much so that God says in His word that "pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, to visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction." Then I got the heart that to educate the poor people and people who ahd no education and then I started to buy some tracks, bibles, books,materials and then I used to give freely to the people who are very poor And who are unable to study… in such a way I started to do my work for God in helping the poor for to study, sicne iam not studied and I don't want the poor pople to be lkiie me but want to make them to study and then help in by giving tracks, matertials. And when iam 25 of my age I registered the misnitry name as Good Hope India Ministries. And ima the founder of President of this misnitry and we had some misnitry members and my wife as well with heartfully encourages me and guide me in doing the Gods work….. and also iam poor person in which I cant feed my family, even then.. since I gave my life to God , by doing some part time work and earning a very little money and with that money feeding my family very hard and then helping the poor people by distributing the tracks and sending the emails to so many people begging for the tracks and for the bibles and for the materials of the bible and begging them to help and by our GHI Minsitries we all workers are working going to remote palces and serving the lord, praying and giving the tracks and praying and telling the Love of Lord Jesus and helping them and give some food ,materials…..this was all work in this last days in India My main aim and destiny is to have the Library, church and Orphanage Even though I ahd no power. I attend a small United Methodist Church in Moncks Corner SC, our church as most I believe see some growth and then we fall back. Our church was established in 1868 and has been on the same property since that time. We on average have between 35 and 45 members in attendance at our Sunday morning service. I tend to feel sometimes that the District's and the Conferences do not have our best interest at hand when making decisions. It is great to see a site like yours lending emotional support for the small churches of the world. God bless always. Dave

Hi, folks. Hadn't been in for a while, so thought I would check in. Donella and I are headed for Mississippi next week. We will spend about a month (most of June) at Pass Christian helping to get that community together again. A lot more help is needed. It looks to me that about 50,000 people, working steadily for a couple years, would get the area pretty much together again. We will be parked at First United Methodist in Pass Christian. I am a member of a small rural Indian Methodist Church, we have a very small congregation but we have big hearts, I help with the Sunday School and my husband is a Deacon. St. Paul have a small membership, but the Lord continually blesses the members of this church through their many academic, athletic, community and spiritual accomplishments. In small churches, members often use their talents out in the larger community as you are doing. I am the founder of an 501 (c) 3 charitable organization: United People Who Care Org., Inc. Pastors and members from 'black' churches saw the need of at risk, disadvantaged kids and organized to provide an after-school activities Youth Center where kids are tutored, mentored and provided fun activities. After being classified as the U S Justice Department Weed and Seed Winslow strategy Youth Safe Haven for three years and funded very well the program ended and our funds have been drastically cut. As a retired educator, I now consider my unpaid work at the youth center as my missionary work knowing that the Lord will see to it that this needed youth safe haven will continue on and on. Hello, I am a member of a very rural country church in western SD. The closest town is 45 miles away. We are in the process of building a new church. God has blessed our small church with funding which has enabled us to finish the outside structure, heat, and electricity. While I'm sure he will continue to bless us I am looking, for the first time, for a possible monitary grant that is directed toward rural churches who have a strong ministry. We sponsor two youth groups, one is held in Sturgis, SD and directed by a young man in our congregation for teens. The other is held in the country for grade school students. We have children from all denominations and those who are unchurched. Several of our young people have gone on several mission trips and continue missions & Bible studies in their colleges. We have ladies who do release time on Wednesdays in schools in the community. Our pastor and 3 other church members provide a mission field through the 'Circuit Riders Quartet'. We are planning a large community outreach with them on Dec.14 and will provide a turkey dinner banquet as well. We had over 300 people last year. We have prayer warriors among our members who are a strong witness for others in the community. Our tiny church has quite a strong ministry. If there is some information you could give us that would direct us toward some sort of grant or funding to help us finish our church building it would most helpful. Our congregation is between 60-80 people on any given Sunday. We are extremely crowded and have a strong vision for what we will can accomplish when we have a larger facility. Have admired the AME traditions since I first became familar with an AME church in Sioux City, Iowa years ago. This is perhaps an odd statement coming from a woman of the Restoration movement of the churches of Christ... :) But, I was drawn to your site today because I am searching for all the prayer and advice I can get re: starting a small new congregation in a little community near me. In the beginning it will be our family only, working with many contacts from a large disaster relief effort last autumn. Prayers, suggestions welcomed!
